Giuliani Releases Web Ad
April 30, 2007 12:59 PM
ABC News' Jan Simmonds Reports: The presidential campaign of former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani released a web video Monday entitled "Leadership." The video, which currently can only be seen on the web, touts Giuliani's ability to show fiscal discipline, reduce crime, cut taxes, and decrease welfare rolls.
The clip contains no narration, but uses sound bytes from several stops Giuliani has made on the campaign trail, as well as his speech at the 2004 Republican Party Convention in New York City. Playing up on a theme he has been stressing on the stump, the video ends with the words: "Optimistic Leadership. Proven Results" -- a key message his campaign is hoping will connect with voters.
The Internet video comes on the heels of Gov. Mitt Romney's, R-Mass., decision to purchase national television advertising space for his own ad last week.
