ABC News' Jennifer Parker Reports: The campaign of Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., appears to have been given a small one-up in the new world of online politics. Two weeks ago, Facebook.com, the popular social networking site, launched a new application to increase its membership and traffic.

The Obama campaign hit the ground running, offering their supporters a feed of video and news that they can link to their own profile pages. Thousands of Obama supporters are now using the campaign advertising feature.

But other '08 campaigns are crying foul. They suggest the Obama campaign was tipped off about the new platform by Facebook co-founder, Chris Hughes, who is now working with the Obama campaign.

"It does seem that they've gotten a head start that every other campaign didn't get presumably because of Mr. Hughes," said the online communications director of a leading '08 Republican campaign who didn't want to be named.

Hughes, 23, joined the Obama campaign is a part of a team trying to figure out how to get the 65,000 supporters who have registered with the official Obama website more involved in the campaign. Hughes has taken a leave from Facebook but has retained his ownership stake and stock options.

"No other campaign was given a heads up about the Facebook platform, at all," said the GOP e-director, saying it would take any campaign a few weeks to figure out how to customize the new application.

"I'm not going to cry about it," he said, "but it is something that we are interested in and it looks like they got a head start."

If you will notice in most of the polls there will be a question sometimes like who will you NOT vote for. Obama is left out of most of these polls, but everyother canadate is listed. Whats up with this. I would have checked Obama instead of Edwards. Obama is not a Honest person. He has something to hide. Will it be the Dems or Reps. That find it. If the Dems do we will have a Dem President. If the Rebs. do Then we will have a Reps. President. Obama can't win. His past is going to come up and get him. I his to New. Not all is uncovered. Maybe next time.

The longer Obama is in this the more difficult the Dems have of winning. It's just a matter of time before he implodes for all sorts of reasons (inexperience, insecurities, his starting to throw race into it, etc., etc). If he does it soon then the Dems can make a go of it....if it happens during the primaries they will be toast. The African-American groups will see it as one of their own being shot down by "whitey" and they will not show up to vote because of it. Without that MAJOR voting block the Dems stand little, if any, chance of winning.

What is he hiding? Oh yeah, nothing....you keep waiting....and hoping.....but there will be NOTHING. He's not dishonest-at least compared to, let's see......ANY other politician.

Its Ironic how some comments on Barrack seem to lean toward "one bad apple spoiling the whole bunch" perspective. NEWSFLASH....its too late to be spared from that in either party..its been going on for years...so what is he really spoiling except the spoils themselves of a gluttonous government?
