Biden Calls Bush 'Brain Dead'
July 06, 2007 8:02 AM
During a Fourth of July campaign stop in Iowa, Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden, known for suffering from acute foot-in-mouth disease on more than one occasion, had some strong words for the president and some GOP rivals in the 2008 candidate pool.
As reported by the New York Times, Biden said of President Bush, "“This guy is brain dead. I know I’ll be quoted, I’ll be killed for that.”
“This is a guy who is on the balls of his heels, here’s a guy who is lower off in the polls than any president in modern history and he goes ahead and he does something that just flies in the face of the sensibilities of the American people.”
Next, Biden took New York City Mayor and Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani's terror-stance to task.
“I can hardly wait to debate Rudy Giuliani if he is their nominee,” he said. “Because I will eat his lunch. The next time I hear a Republican talk about us being tough on terror – give me a break!”
Last but not least, Biden charged after another Republican candidate, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.
"I found Romney’s statements yesterday profound – crazy — when he talked about going to war with Iran,” he said. “Why are we talking about going to war with Iran?”

Cat: Clinton failed to win the popular vote in 1992 (only 43% voted for him) and 1996 (49.2%) while GW Bush did win the popular vote as an incombent. I don't care because popular vote is only a footnote referenced by cry babies and of no real value. GW Bush will be judged an excellent President by history because, those who look back on this period of history will see the issues in total, stripped of massive democrat media issue poisoning. They will see all that you don't know: the Clinton impotence that set the stage; the events that lead to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq; the arrests of domestic terrorists; the steady economy and near monthly stock market records; the steady, low interested rates (Carter his mortgage rates of 18%); drug assistance program for poor seniors; "No Child Left Behind" education demanding results; the progress in nation building as Afghanistan and Iraq see their first contemporary elections. While these and other outstanding accomplishments are minimized the press you read, they will be celebrated by historians. Clinton in the middle east? Are you serious? What troops in the middle east? Are you referring to the wittle 4 day bombing campaign in Iraq, "Desert Fox" in 1998 followed by signing a law requiring "regime change" there? Apparently, he planned to fire Saddam Hussein!! LMAO! Did you see "Black Hawk Down" yet? Check it out. To answer your question, it's not about troop deployments at all. It's about the skill at which a President leads our national defense/security policy. Party is irrelevant other then the fact that those who generally gravitate to the democrat side tend to be clueless about such things....doesn't mean they always will but look at the current candidates.... I rest my case.

Biden is right. Bush is brain dead!

Look at all the left-wing desperates come out in full force. Bush is doing his job regardless of popularity. That is the job of the president. Well done Bush.

Obviously Biden plagiarized "brain dead" from someone.

Good job "Dave": I've been mislead but your response has all the substance of the democrat party itself (none). Read it again - slower - maybe you'll learn something this time. Right on Kottaras: he's not in some shallow popularity contest orchestrated by the democrat media. In fact, he must have great contempt for those clowns. Thank you President Bush, the American People are with you!

George Bush IS an IDIOT. It's plain to see, the man is INCOMPETENT! Everything he touches turns to dust. And thanks to his management of National Security we are worse of than we ever have been. From Enron to Exxon he has let the Energy companies rape the American people as they game the markets, then he bankrupts the treasury with his poor economic leadership, then to top it off he engages our military in an un-necessary and un-winnable war.
And some fools like cheese pizza are so stupid to call this progress! I think you deserve to go hunting with my old friend Dick Cheney.

I applaud Senator Biden for stating in public what the majority of American's already know. The few Americans like cheese for brains that remain loyal to the village idiot must live in their own world. A world void of reality. Take pity on them.

I thought most of you republicans had come to your senses about this "president". I guess not..you're a sick pup..an excellent president?..what drivel..and when it come to Bush, you shouldn't talk about courage or leadership..he has neither..as a matter of fact..

What the h@ll is this loudmouth pea-brain babbling about now? Joe Biden is an embarrassment to even the most obnoxious and extreme liberal Democrats. Biden is like the foul-mouthed, drunk uncle who shows up at the Democrat family picnic, flirts with someone else's fiancé, and vomits all over himself before passing out. He's a disgrace, even to his closest friends. What a skunk! What group of morons elected this pathetic loser to the Senate anyway???
Posted by: S. Temper | Jul 7, 2007 6:04:36 AM
Bush is brain dead? Biden does not know his head from his a##, if he does not think Iran has its hands in Iraq. Thank God our military is strong because we have weak politicians. ALL politicians could learn a lesson from our military; country before self/party.

"Maybe" Ron Paul, tumbleweedin? You going soft on your guy? By the way, what's up with your obsessive bashing of John Edwards, a candidate that's a distant third and falling?

Joe Biden spoke his mind.....he still suffering from his hair plugs being planted too deep.
Posted by: skyhookjim | Jul 7, 2007 9:24:10 AM
Hey kids, love the typical democrat substance free mud slinging. Wear your seatbelts and take care of those 30 day memories - they're a democrat media and political treasure! Thank you again George W. Bush for ignoring the democrat media and leading the country rather then following democrat media poles! The AMERICAN PEOPLE are with you! Ron Paul is a moron, which is why this faked-up Republican will be embraced by the press as a minor distraction.
Posted by: cheesetopping69 | Jul 7, 2007 9:31:44 AM
Cheese, who are you working for? GWB himself? It's difficult to believe that anyone can still believe what you apparently do.
Posted by: C. P. Heath | Jul 7, 2007 10:30:25 AM
What I can't believe is that these Bushbots still spew this "He is a good Leader" garbage!! We are coming up on 4,000 dead men and women in a war that was forced upon us by outright lies and misinformation by this guys people. They even sent Colin Powell, the only true patriot in the bunch to do their dirty work. Now we are five years later and we are bogged down in this fiasco. Only someone that is "Brain Dead", or worse, uncaring, could profess to stay the course or what ever their current catchphrase is...
... History will not look kindly on the man who stole the Presidency and then acted so carelessly on behalf of OUR COUNTRY, to the point that now we are a laughing stock in the Worlds eyes...
I spent 23 years in the U.S. Army and I served un Bush I. He didn't go to Baghdad for a reason. Too bad he didn't clue in his "brain dead son"...

Forget about all of these comments people. Just vote for Ron Paul in the election and you will find that the American people will have something to live for again, not to argue about! Let's face it, most if not all of the politicians' decisions are based on money. You will find that Dr. Paul is the one in a billion that will do things on integrity and not money. I can only hope America wakes up in time!
