Bill Clinton Watches Debate from Tanzania

ABC News' Kate Snow reports: Even in the middle of nowhere, Bill Clinton can still be a supportive spouse. Last night the former President pulled an all-nighter to watch the entire debate on CNN International, live at 2am local time in Arusha, Tanzania.
President Clinton spoke with the Senator right before the debate to wish her good luck and say "I love you".
Just a couple of hours after the debate ended, he hopped on a small plane to fly to the Ngoro Ngoro crater in northern Tanzania. The crater, about 18 miles in diameter, is what's left of the mouth of a volcano that was active millions of years ago. Now it's filled with forest, plainlands and a large lake and home to lions, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, 24 endangered black rhinos, cheetahs, leopards, monkeys and elephants-- among other species.
President Clinton said he was as excited as a kid to see it all. Hillary and Chelsea Clinton visited the crater in the early 90s on a formal First Lady trip and raved about it. But this is President Clinton's first visit to the crater.

I actually saw him in Ngorongoro Crater (which you spelled incorrectly) disturbing a pride of lions who were hunting some buffalo. I was on safari with my grandchildren Bree and Ed and Allison and Philip.

I saw him too in the Ngorongoro Crater. He was extremely polite - allowed us to take pics - and seemed thrilled to be watching a lion and an elephant 100 yards away.
Apart from his secret service, he was 'safari-ing' like any other regular guy.
