ABC News' Eloise Harper Reports: Former President Bill Clinton, campaigning next to his wife, Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., told a 1,000 plus crowd in Nashua, New Hampshire on Friday not to worry about their polarizing past.

"I was polarizing too," Mr. Clinton told voters gathered at the second stop on their "Rally for Change Tour". "I was running third in the polls," he reminded them, attempting to quell any notion that his wife is too divisive to win the White House.

Speaking for about 12 minutes, the former president lavished praise upon the woman he hopes is the next president, reflecting on their life together, her commitment to public service, and how in 1973 he said to her, "I have met the most gifted people in our generation and you're the best," a position he still claims today.

"If you want to restore America's standing in the world," he told the crowd under a scorching sun, "elect her."

For the candidate's turn at the mic, Mrs. Clinton began by proclaiming, "Isn't is great having Bill back in Nashua?"

Candidate Clinton then mentioned another prominent man, Warren Buffett, when blasting tax loopholes that benefit the rich before launching into her standard pitch on healthcare, restoring America's image in the world, 'No Child Left Behind', and the war in Iraq.

Team Clinton has one more stop on this leg of their tour, swinging through Manchester –- in the same spot where Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., officially kicked off his campaign only a few months ago.

As American full blooded...I do want to add that we need to get off that which has been said...former President Clinton did care about the women but not so perfect as all men have no like for him, because he had power like many do not, his charisma is real, many would like to be him but let me tell this, I called out to him when I found that where I live did nothing for me, he reached in to set it straight on how we handled mandates...I once then attacked systems so flawed that not retaliation has commenced for standing up as a woman, a mother and a veteran...Apache
