Biden to Drop New TV Ad
August 21, 2007 2:28 PM
ABC News' Brian Wheeler Reports: Senator Joe Biden will unveil his second ad of the week in Iowa on Wednesday, hoping to raise his profile in the state. This 60-second ad, titled "Security," features video images from the war in Iraq and still photos of the Senator at work and on the campaign trail. It seeks to reinforce a number of the points the Senator tried to make in Sunday's Democratic debate on ABC News:
"To prevent a civil war from turning into a regional war that could endanger America, Joe Biden's plan would separate the warring factions. Only Biden would create the breathing room needed to stabilize the country."
The advertisement also hits on another theme of Biden's campaign, his experience: "For over thirty years and as head of the foreign relations committee Joe Biden has dealt with the worlds most dangerous problems, from nuclear weapons in the former Soviet Union to genocide in the Balkans and Darfur."
Biden rolled out his first TV ad in Iowa on Sunday. Together the two ads comprise a $250,000 media buy that will run across Iowa through Labor Day. The campaign has been soliciting donors for more funding to keep the ads on after the holiday weekend.

You know, you guys kill me. I SHOULD say you're killing Joe. What kind of headline is that??!! If you were reading headlines only, you'd believe that Joe is pulling an add from the air. Just another blatant attempt to push in other candidates that YOU see fit. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I hope to God the people of this country see through all these facades you push in front of our faces.
