ABC News Brian Wheeler Reports: Fresh from a thorough questioning of the US military commander in Iraq Gen. David Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker at a Capitol Hill hearing, Joe Biden D-Del., hits up the Palmetto State by phone. The Democratic presidential candidate and Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee will hold a question-and-answer conference call for up to an hour with both supporters, skeptics, and the just plain curious, beginning at 7 pm ET in South Carolina.

Biden will discuss his recent trip to Iraq and today’s hearings with Petraeus and Crocker, before taking questions from the assembled.

Fifteen separate campaign gatherings have been scheduled around the conference call, which the campaign is calling "Whatcha Know Joe", and organizers have asked participants to invite 10 to 15 undecided Democratic voters to each.

"He has spent a good amount of time in Iowa but that doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten about New Hampshire or South Carolina. You have to create new ways to spread your message in different states," Biden campaign spokesperson Marion Steinfels said.
