Clinton Campaign: Eat Chips with Bill

ABC News' Sunlen Miller Reports: How would you like to snack in front of the TV with Bill Clinton?

The former president is giving Clinton campaign supporters a chance to do just that. The hitch? He needs your money for his wife's presidential campaign first.

In a campaign email sent to supporters Tuesday, Mr. Clinton invites people to make a donation, after which the campaign will choose three people to watch one of the upcoming presidential debates with him.

"We'll sit down in front of a big TV with a big bowl of chips, watch the debate and talk about the race, " Clinton's email reads.

The former president, no stranger to a good debate, says he loves watching his wife, Hillary Clinton, on the stage.  "You're talking to the man who stayed up until four in the morning on a trip through Africa just to catch one of her debates live."

The former president writes, "There are two things in this world that I love more than anything else -- my family and politics. So you can imagine just how fired up I get when Hillary is on the stage debating the issues that matter to our country."

Stressing the importance of campaign contributions as the end of the third quarter wraps up on Sept. 30th, Mr. Clinton's email says, "Hillary's fundraising numbers will be compared to those of her opponents, and ever dollar you contribute between now and Sunday will make a huge difference."

This isn't the first time the Clinton campaign has used the lure of spending time with the former president to raise money.

In a similar contest earlier this month, Mr. Clinton offered to join his wife and a campaign supporter for lunch.

Obama, the REAL candidate of the average person, did it first, months ago. HillBill wouldn't have DREAMED of something like this before Barack...

(Oh, and that experience thing? Obama's held an ELECTED office longer than Clinton or Edwards.)
