ABC News' Eloise Harper Reports: Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., speaking to a crowd of students at Laney College in Oakland, Calif., sought to clarify her position on Iran on Monday.

Last week Clinton, who is seeking the Democratic presidential nomination, voted for a non-binding resolution to designate the Iranian Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization. This elicited criticism from her '08 rivals, including former Sen. John Edwards, D-N.C., and others.

But today, Clinton announced that she is joining her colleague Sen, Jim Webb, D-Va., to co-sponsor a bill he is introducing to prohibit the use of funds for military action in Iran without authorization by the Congress. Clinton said that "this legislation would not infringe on the ability of our troops to protect themselves from attacks from iran or from their surrogates."

Clinton also added that "eight months ago [she] went to the Senate floor to warn the president that he could not attack Iran without coming to the Congress to seek congressional authorization."

Prior to giving her remarks Clinton received the hard-fought endorsement of Oakland Mayor Ron Dellums.

The Mayor was conflicted between Clinton and rival Sen. Barack Obama D-Ill.,, but today announced that Clinton's commitment to urban communities and her belief that the federal government must build strong partnerships had earned her his support and endorsement.

The Clinton's are not capable of clarification, only distortion and manipulation.

Actually, the problem is that an IQ of at least 100 is required to understand complex issues beyond say, "we gunna smoke em out"-G.Bush

Boy will we feel safe with Hillary Clinton as President....NOT. She is a total weak knee liberal wimp. She can not even stand up to Bill's womanizing; that he did behind her back and she puts on the stupid, victim face. She is to be trusted to keep an eye onthe country when she admits she can't keep an eye on "her man". Please what a joke; she is the worse thing that could eve happen to the Presidency; worse than her own hubby's actions with an Intern in the oval office.

I think Hillary is doing what a strong and caring leader supposed to do. Obama and others are just like a Chinese goods and foods, voters will realized as chinese food are bad for health so these candidates are bad for Nation. Please wake up in time and be active in Hill Campaign.

If Hillary is good enough for Ron Dellums, on the war position, she's good enough for me.

Who can ever possibly tell where she is on the war in Iraq at any given time?

Chris - You've fallen victim to Clinton speak, you know circular logic that says nothing and goes nowhere and have somehow confused that with something intelligent and substantive. You've also assumed that I’m a fan of Bush which couldn’t be further from the truth, but doesn't surprise me, it’s indicative of someone who is over their head. It’s also a typical knee jerk reaction from a Clinton Neanderthal, that is if they don’t like Clinton they like Bush, how pathetic! Let me end this the way I do 90% of my posts THIRD PARTY NOW!!!
