ABC News' Eloise Harper Reports: Democratic candidates for president gathered in a barn in Johnson County, Iowa Saturday evening. Senator Edwards walked through the crowds with organizers and supporters cheering his name. Sen Clinton came in a bit later and walked on stage with Sen George McGovern linking arm and arm. McGovern while introducing Clinton, said he was supporting Clinton in her bid for the presidency- while praising the other candidates.

"We have an old rule of courtesy in the United States: 'ladies first'" said the former Senator and presidential candidate.

George McGovern got the biggest laugh from Hillary Clinton all week when he mentioned Bill Clinton's hair when he was volunteering for McGovern in the 1970's. " Bill didn't make it any easier in Texas when he let his hair grow out in all directions, the first time I saw it I thought it looked nothing so much as a buffalo." Clinton doubled over with laughter.

Clinton said that when she is president McGovern is going to be one of her advisors. She also directed the majority of her speech towards President Bush. Clinton's Democratic rival Senator Edwards made sharp comparisons between his positions and Clintons. Edwards pointed out that he would bring all combat troops out of Iraq. "Senator Clinton has said she will continue combat missions, I think continuing combat missions is continuing the war." Senator Obama sent actor Forest Whitaker on his behalf who praised Obama.

Clinton outlined her goals as president and also discussed the practice of torture. "We are standing strongly and saying we condemn torture. That is not anything a United States president or government should be involved in." Clinton said this after she endorsed the goals of the anti-torture pledge last week.

The anti-torture pledge, initiated by the American Freedom Campaign -- a group founded by a coalition of civil-liberties groups and liberal activists -- commits the candidates to disavowing some of the controversial tactics employed by the Bush administration.

Clinton left just before singing happy birthday to young children who had been drumming outside for the Senator. This marks the first of a four day swing through Iowa for Clinton. Senator Edwards and Obama have been campaigning in the state this past week.

I believe Hillary Clinton will surprise all of the people who are negative about her, and make a wonderful President. The last election Americans elected a President they felt comfortable around (George Bush) and look what has happened. Americans are smarter this time around. Do I agree with everything Hillary says, no. But I know she has the brains and the guts to get us out of this mess. Give her a try, you were wrong last election, maybe this time you will get it right.

HIllary clinton will be surprised by Sen. OBAMA's ability not only to win the IOWA caucus, but also the NewHampshire Primary, Nevada and Southcarolina's activities. The quasi incumbant has always wants to spread false information about Sen. Obama using different surogates, but at the end of the day, Sen. Obama will win the DEmocratic primary and the presidency!
