ABC News' Eloise Harper reports: A retired U.S. general visiting New Hampshire to campaign for Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., said yesterday that Clinton does not oppose the Iraq war, and the General said she's never heard Clinton oppose it, reported New Hampshire's Union Leader.

Retired Lt. Gen. Claudia Kennedy, the Army's first woman to reach the three-star rank, said in a telephone interview with the paper, "I have not ever heard [Clinton] say, 'I oppose the war.' I've heard her say that we need to begin withdrawal under a plan led by the military and defense secretary. I've heard her say we need to create a regional stabilizing group by allies, by leaders in the world and by all of the states that are bordering Iraq."

A Clinton spokesperson tells ABC News that "Senator Clinton opposes this war and is trying to do everything she can to end it as quickly as she can- a goal that she and General Kennedy share."

Hey, Mc Auliffe, Penn, Wolfson! You handed the General the wrong script. That's from 2004!

Can't blame the General as there are millions who can't fathom just what Hillary's position is and what her solution.

Back to the drawing board!

This is too hilarious.

Will Hillary now flip-flop about what party she belongs to?

If she does, it will not be the first time she contradicts herself to a laughable degree.

That Republican "right wing machine" will suddenly become a party that "I never criticized."

Keep going, Hillary. You are self-destructing.

I wonder if she really knows whether she opposed the war.

Shes consulting with advisors atm to find out what her position is. We, the public, will be advised shortly.

Hilary was not opposed prior to her position after opposing but then opposed after and prior to her opposing the position she opposed prior to another position after opposing...eh...yea...that's the ticket!

That's what they call triangulation, or what most people call changing your position depending on who you're talking to at the time to hide the fact that you stand for absolutely nothing but whatever will benefit you politically.

On this, and this alone... yes, she is the candidate with experience!

That's because Hillary is both FOR THE WAR and against the war.

Guess she missed the talking points class LOL

Come to think of it, I don't think Hillary has ever said that she opposes the war. The war that she voted for and calls George Bush's war. Anyone who voted for this HUGH foreign policy blunder, should also have his/or her name attached to it also. Not just W's. I remember Lt. General Kennedy endorsed Kerry in 2004.

Will the real Hillary please stand up? This is not a game. And we are not pawns in this game. We are smarter than that. We see behind the flag pin who the real Hillary is. America is beginning to see the light.

Claudia Kennedy was the girl friend of Terry McAuliffe’s father-in-law. That is how she got all those promotions to general and three-star rank, as a Clinton family insider.

It was McAuliffe’s only known connection to the military, but did not keep him from sounding off on George Bush’s military service or accusing Bush of “never having been in the military”.

The woman is a fraud and is very dangerous.

I can hardly blame this general for not understanding Clinton's position on the war, because I also don't.

I suppose her position could be stated very simply like this: "I am for this war because I need to be for it to get elected for President when I try to run later, but I am against it because now I can see that I won't get elected unless it appears I am against it."

I hope that isn't true, and only God knows the heart, but I will not be voting for Hillary Clinton. That is certain.
