Rob Reiner Sings For Clinton
October 22, 2007 3:36 AM
ABC News' Eloise Harper reports: Rob Reiner sang a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday, Mrs. President" in honor of Senator Hillary Clinton at his Brentwood, California, home on Sunday evening.
Celebrities came to see to see Clinton, D-N.Y., and to celebrate in advance of the former first lady's 60th birthday. Although they didn't bring gifts, celebrities from Jamie Lee Curtis, Magic Johnson, Ted Danson, Bridget Moynihan and Chelsea Handler raised a half a million dollars for the Clinton campaign and enjoyed cocktails and hors deouvres in return.
Despite the massive fires miles away in Malibu, guests were greeted by men dressed in head to toe white, with lavender bow ties saying with "Welcome to the Reiner's," as they shuffled up and down the street parking Bentleys, Porsches, and BMWs.
In a town where loyalty is split between Clinton and rival Senator Barack Obama, D-Ill., the famous actor turned director Reiner made the push for his candidate in this Hollywood crowd.
"This is a tough time right now and we need the best woman qualified," Reiner said.
Clinton thanked Steve Bing and other guests at the event before delivering her standard stump speech. About 250 people applauded as Clinton outlined her disapointment with the Bush administration.

Well, isn't that special. The Hollywood elite/royalty throw a b-day soiree for Comrade Hillary.
I guess Joe McCarthy wasn't all that wrong about Hollywood socialism.

And Reiner played the fiddle while Rome burned!

I wonder if I can get a job with one of these Hollywood Production companies... I have no experience, no resume, and really have no clue how to run a business.... opps that is like Hillarys resume for President. I just figured they werent into experience and capability. How bout it Reiner?

Did MeatHead also sing "Nearer My God to Thee" as that is where a Hillary Presidency will put the US but then again they don't don't believe in God do they unless the deity is in the likeness of George Soros.
Perhaps singing the Soviet national anthem would be appropriate too for such class warfare agendas, values and beliefs as for Mr Clinton's and her husband's.

So Hollywood supports the Democrats, no matter who they are.
How exactly is news to anyone?

Chelsea Handler is a celebrity? The reporter should check their facts.

Just a preview of the future. This gathering of wealthy elitists that force socialism on the rest of America will beocme commonplace, at least until our country collapses due when business and industry leave after all incentive and opprotunioty are killed by socialism, high taxes and big govt.!

Honestly, I think this is Hillary's moment to jump the shark. I mean, Rob Reiner, isn't exactly on the A-list. Nor are the others listed here. However, middle America sees that a socialist like Reiner is in Hillary's camp. And that's all they need to know to vote against her. Hillary will get creamed in 2008 no matter who the Republican nominee is.

I was puzzled by the fact I wasn't invited to the big party for Hillary until I read the guest list and realized I haven't a clue who Bridget Moynihan and Chelsea Handler are.

Let this be a lesson to America; we can all drive Porsche's, Bentley's, and BMW's if we voted for Obama or Hillary. Unfortunately, Obama and Hillary know the Ex-big 3 auto makers are struggling but love to attend fundraisers who drive foreign made and promote foreign based vehicles. Also, why wasn't O.J. Simpson invited? Wade

Rob Reiner is and always has been a commi low life whose lust for my once beautiful country (USA) is to reform it in his, and his peers, vision. Rob and his disgusting father both worked their lives to turn the US away from its strong moral stance into a Babylonian house. And here we are today, scum bag Reiner playing his same games.

Is this the same Rob Reiner that spewed anti-Polish rhetoric for so many years on his TV show?
Posted by: Ray | Oct 22, 2007 8:52:19 AM
"hour dourves"? Sure hope this post wasn't written by someone paid to write! (Of course, it would be delightful if that's what Reiner et al. called them.)

The pathological lier is again on the move to fool people all the time. She said she has experience in running the government, beside being a senator, she has no experience whatsoever except ruining the lives of the clinton women who charged her husband with rape and other shenanigans.

No wonder they call him meathead!

I'm waiting how long it will take the Malibu elite to parrot their kindred spirits, those of the lower quarters of New Orleans, about how Bush & his FEMA director abandoned them in their time of need.
"Where Was Bush!!!!"
Can you imagine? "We were without a place to live & the G5 was in Miami so we had to take a commercial flight to our place in Jackson Hole."
I wonder what it must like to be able to afford to actually be liberal.

Anyone else think that Rob Reiner is the complete opposite of Marilyn Monroe? And that a song famously sang to a unfaithful president is a poor choice for the wife of an unfaithful president?

Hillary and Hollywood are the new aristocracy. They live lives better than any European monarch and see them selves as the ones who will bestow upon the lowly surfs who aren't them any blessing that might befall are pitiful lives. We have life and liberty from and because of them not our constitution.

Could you imagine if a Republican fundraiser was going on while not too far away fires were burning widly and bringing down homes? The elite liberals would be screaming!!! However, these liberals throw $Hillary a birthday party/fundraiser and everyone is happy go lucky. And what about global warming? Between all the Bentleys, BMWs and Porsches lined up outside his home, the carbon footprint must have been the size of Antartica!!! What a bunch of phonies! Rob Reiner truly is a MeatHead.
