Senator Domenici to Retire

ABC News' Jake Tapper and Z. Bryon Wolf Report: Senator Pete Domenici, Republican of New Mexico, will announce tomorrow afternoon at St. Mary's School in Albuquerque, that he is retiring from the U.S. Senate, opening up another seat that Democrats will by eyeing in 2008.
Rumors of Domenici's departure from the senator have increased, in part, because of questions about his role in dismissal of U.S. Attorney David Iglesias.
Sens. Chuck Hagel of Nebraska, John Warner of Virginia and Wayne Allard of Colorado have already announced their intentions to retire. And Larry Craig, may be forced out by Republicans who are upset he may not be able to win reelection in the very Red state of Idaho in wake of his arrest at an airport men's room.
Domenici has served New Mexico since 1973.

Could this be a year that Democrats win in red states. America would win more than just our civil liberties, health care reform, immigration resolutions, reduction of armed forces in Iraq and Afganistan, but rather our pride that we got rid of those good ol' self-righteous non-caring blowhearts that have their palms greased at every turn.
Maybe we can begin to recover in 2008!
