ABC News' Raelyn Johnson Reports: Presidential candidate former Sen. John Edwards D-N.C., always talks about the celebrities in the race, a jab at Sens. Hillary Clinton and Sen. Obama, who dominate headlines and face time in the media spotlight. But in Davenport, Iowa today, Edward packed a little star power of his own, hitting the road with the Grammy award winning Bonnie Raitt , with Jackson Browne.

"Change is a beautiful thing and what we’re going to have with John Edwards I believe on so many levels, from healthcare to education to civil rights to poverty to getting out of Iraq, not going into Iran, on every level the man is speaking what I think America wants to hear," said Raitt.

Right before launching to "Thing Called Love" Raitt yelled shouted to the audience over a humming guitar, "I'm ready for that thing called Edwards love, that’s what I’m ready for."

Iowans will get to cast their vote for change less than two months from now, with the Iowa Caucuses set for January 3rd. With the window closing today Edwards reminded voters of the power they have in the first in the nation state.

"Everybody comes through here every four years and tells you how important the Iowa caucuses are, but I want to talk about it in a way that’s a little different than that. I actually believe the caucus is crucial this year for this reason--because I think Bush has destroyed the trust relationship between America and its president," said Edwards with hopes of casting himself as the most trustful candidate.

Riatt and Browne who both personally support Edwards will hit the road with the former Senator on Tuesday with stops in Grinnell and Des Moines, Iowa.
