Huckabee Pumps Rudy in Rudy-Romney Fight

ABC News' Kevin Chupka and Teddy Davis Report: Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee waded into the Rudy-Romney fight on Monday by saying that former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is going to have to learn to "take one upside the head" because former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani is "an experienced fighter" who "knows how to do it."

Huckabee also accused "Mitt" of going after "Rudy" more than "Rudy went after Mitt."

Huckabee's comments, which he made on a conference call with reporters, may once again fuel speculation that he is angling to be Giuliani's running mate.

But they also reflect Huckabee's assessment that it is Romney, who leads in Iowa and has positioned himself as a social conservative, rather than Giuliani, who is the more immediate obstacle to Huckabee's presidential ambitions.

Over the weekend, Giuliani and Romney traded jabs over taxes, crime, immigration, abortion, and ethical standards. The sparring prompted Huckabee to say that he thanked God on Thanksgiving that he was "slicing the turkey" while his GOP rivals were "slicing each other."

Huchabee says that Mitt Romney is going to have to learn to "take one upside the head" because former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani is "an experienced fighter" who "knows how to do it." That comment reveals to me a "minister" that encourages others to do things that would otherwise get their own priestly robes soiled. Mitt has been taking shots up side the head for a life time. He won’t be moved by this. This just reveals allot about Huckabee’s character or what is lacking in it.

So what is it Tax Hike Mike is really running for? He's acting more like a spectator than a candidate. It screams "fake."

It seems to me like your trackback links are breaking.

I'm surprised that Mike hasn't told Rudy to repent.Rudy is definately a serial sinner.

A reporter asks Huckabee to comment about what's going on in the campaign and he remarked about the other candidates current squabble which doesn't mean he's angling for anything, it means that is his assesment. He said he wouldn't take VP, and I believe him which is more than I can say for Mitt "Meaningless Mantra" Romney or Rudy "Government is the Solution" Guiliani. I don't trust republicans, not since Bush lied in the '04 election about giving the Fair Tax a fair hearing. Despite my differences with some of his policies teh fact that I don't think he's lying is why I support Huckabee.
Oh, and I love the "Tax Hike Mike" thing, that's just trying to distract people from his support of the Fair Tax. Just what I'd expect from the rabid anti-tax reform plutocratic wing of the republican party, don't bother to say what you really mean - the pro black market, illegal labor, tax loophole crowd - it all boils down to you just not wanting to have to pay your fair share.

America, America,

I wish you understood the love of God and how he desires to be a part of your life. It’s a terrible thing to remove him from your government and its policy-making, lawlessness and immorality ensues when you do. You unknowingly open doors for worshiping faults gods and idols and are deceived. I’m reminded of the movie series, “Left Behind” and how so many were without the knowledge of the signs of the time--with the “Great Tribulation” at hand, and who will escape it. God has foretold of his judgments to come, but you have dismissed your only hope in Jesus Christ.

This is not a political endorsement for a presidential candidate, but I trust you will take a closer look at a man that understands what awaits America in Mike Hickabee. With godly wisdom, understanding and uncommon leadership, he sees and recognizes what awaits the world. Judgment is indeed emanate and soon to come where unrighteousness, injustice and usury has become the world standard, therefore choose wisely that it may go well with you in the world’s end time! Proverbs 29:2

For Mitt Romney Faith and Works go hand in hand as the Scriptures teaches.Faith he is an example and live his life accordingly while at the same time his works and result speaks volume throughout America and the world.I use to live oversease and we heard all that Romney did for the Salt lake City Winter Olympic, his Governorship and Entrepreneuralship.
