Obama Scoffs at Clinton War Claim
November 28, 2007 4:32 PM
ABC News' Sunlen Miller Reports: Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., scoffed Wednesday at former President Bill Clinton's recent claim that he opposed the Iraq war from the very beginning.
"Well if he did," Obama said on a conference call with reporters, "I don't think most of us have heard about it."
"My understanding is that Senator Clinton and him were talking frequently. So you'll have to talk to them about whether they discussed this issue at all," he said.
When asked about the difference between his health care plan and Sen. Hillary Clinton's plan, Obama said they're not all that different.
But, he said, Clinton has not specified how she would enforce a mandate for coverage.
"[It's] more of a political point that she's trying to make rather than a real point," Obama said.
The issue of mandates for health care has driven the debate between Clinton and Obama for the past few weeks. Obama says he would enforce his mandate for health care for all children by fining parents if they refused to allow health care coverage for their children.
"I am happy to be very clear how we enforce mandates for children, and the reason is because children don't have an option."

geo, I think it would be more than 5 out of 100. If you're looking for a person who wears a dress, is pro-choice, and soft on immigration, you would have to go with Rudy. Hillary only meets two of the three.

I guess I`d rather hear Obama scoff than his stupid little boy giggle. The giggle might get him a few air head female votes but it will not get him elected to lead the "free world" (as it was known prior to the America of the Rove/Bush neocons.)

It seems that both Clintons suffer from Bi-polarism; really, they think everyone is so stupid that they can lie about anything, even though there are tapes and transcripts that prove they are lying. This is a serious issue, I don't believe the Clintons are well. Hillary can not take a stance on anything, she takes all sides, so she can't be wrong; same with Bill. They surround themselves with people who enable this behavior, who try and spin their mis-steps. This is what we went through in the 1990s with Bill Clinton's presidency and with Les Aspen as the Defense Secretary then; it was a nightmare. Do we really want this again; especially with Hillary who is not qualified to be President; at least Bill was a Governor, Hillary has no such experience. They are both suffering for some sor of mental illness and should just get out of public life and leave America alone.

Obama has "scoffed" his way right out of my maybes to vote for. He sounds too much like a Republican to me. He has become very nasty in his campaign. We don't need another smart-a-- in the WH. GWB has been enough.

hillary is just SMARTER than most of you and you cannot stand it can you? she is intellectually all you arent ,and , evidently,it must be pretty painful ,to see all the patently blatant lies and various catcalls that are posted here, which are clearly a venting of angry immature uninformed emotions.

If the Republican had allowed President Clinton to remove Saddam when he pressed them to do so, we would not be having the problem we now have. The war would have been better planned and executed by a President that listened to his military leaders. Look at Bosnia and the number of Americans killed. There is no comparison.
