Romney to Woman: Try Fox News

ABC News' Matt Stuart Reports: Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney was campaigning in Washington, Iowa Wednesday when he got an off beat question from one woman in the crowd.

"How do we gag the newspapers …" she asked, speaking so quietly the second half of her question couldn't be understood. But if her question wasn't clear, Romney's advice was.

""It’s amazing isn't it?" Romney said, "Well, fortunately we can change channels. And they’re channels like Fox that can give a different perspective. And then you can also go on the Internet or you can go on talk radio and you can get a different view."

When asked about his comments at a press conference later in the day, Romney seemed genuinely surprised. "

"You overheard that?" he said. "She was complaining about a particular stream of news and I said she’s got other places to turn."

More evidence that Fox "news" is an arm of the Republican Party. Have you ever, ever heard any other candidate in the history of American politics prop up a TV news network?

Fox news is the number 1 news channel is the country.

You've got to be kidding me! WHO CARES! Hello George Stephanopolous.... Noooo he's not Left leaning at all....... I tend to lean Right but I'm able to obtain the news from a variety of sources. Get a life.

There's more to it than Right vs. Left. How about Right vs. Wrong.

Doesn't he know that Fox news is the Rudy news channel? Why would he advise anyone to watch it?

Fox News is aptly named: "guardians" of the political hen house. And this "lady", like typical GOP, seems to believe that any view not congruent with her own is not fit to print.

Liberals boycotted Fox News for any debates. MSNBC has stated it is going Left, an with the shows of Countdown, Hardball, prove it. Countdown is a voice for the DNC. Again, is this really News. I just read another fluff piece on Gov. Romney. Is this attack Romney, an this is all you have, a supporter comparing Iowa with NH, an someone asking a silly question about where to get UNBIASED News. If he would have mentioned CNN or MSNBC, his campaign would have ended. If Romney was not a Mormon, he would be leading in all of the Polls hands down.

"How do we gag the newspapers …" she asked. Wow! Almost unbelievable...except Right Wing religious evangelicals are reborn with a limbaughtimzed brain which supports a belief to replace the voice of the Constitution of the United States with a voice of phony (g)ods. A vote for Romney will be a continued four years of the same of one failure after another.

chance. He is a phony.
