Biden Fighting To Stay In the Race

ABC's Brian Wheeler Reports: Sen. Joe Biden is aiming high in Iowa -- third or a close fourth.

To make that happen, the Delaware senator began his final push towards the Jan. 3 caucuses by taking jabs  at the Democratic frontrunners during a rally in Des Moines.

"You hear this debate going on between is it about experience or is it about change? And the two candidates with the most money talk about experience and change. Well I've got more experience than all of them including the candidate who says she's got experience. And I've changed more things than the candidate who's talking about change," Biden said to laughs and applause.

Hillary Clinton has been hammering the theme that she has more experience, while Barack Obama has proclaimed himself the candidate for change.

Biden asked attendees to look ahead to the general election fight: "Close your eyes and picture, who do you want in the ring? What will the Republican game plan be for the next election? You know what they're gonna do -- we're big spenders, we don't support the troops, we're weak on defense, we don't know how to deal with terror, we're weak on crime. You know the routine, you know what's coming. Close your eyes. Who do you want in the ring taking on Rudy Giuliani, or John McCain, or Mitt Romney, or Huckabee. Who do you think can stand toe to toe with them?"

The Senator has three events tomorrow as he continues down the homestretch. His advisers are confident he'll place third or a close enough fourth to continue on to New Hampshire.

Joe, about the only thing you could do to ramp up your campaign is slap Chris Dodd in the face a couple of times and call him part of the Lieberman wing of the democratic party.

Joe Biden is by far the most experienced, knowledgeable, professional, and Presidential out of ALL the candidates!! It's crucial to our future that he gets elected!

I agree with Todd...I'm a 61 year old VietNam vet who has recently changed voter registration so I can do my part in seeing Joe Biden become our next President..Never in my lifetime has one person stood so far above the rest. I only hope that people see beyond the media hype surrounding Mrs Clinton and 'the wet behind the ears' Mr Obama.
