USA Today's 'On Politics' Blog Reports: In ad and video, Clinton's daughter and mother make her case
In a television ad now on the air in Iowa, Dorothy Rodham makes the case that her daughter -- Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton -- should be the next president.
"What I would like people to know about Hillary is what a good person she is," Rodham says in her first campaign ad testimonial for the senator. "She never was envious of anybody -- she was helpful. And she's continued that with her adult life with helping other women. She has empathy for other people’s unfortunate circumstances. I've always admired that because it isn't always true of people. I think she ought to be elected even if she weren't my daughter."
There's also a brief glimpse of Chelsea Clinton in the ad. In a video just posted at YouTube by the campaign, though, there are more extensive clips from the recent appearances in Iowa by both the senator's daughter and her mother on behalf of Clinton.

not for nothin' I think for the most part, yoru Mom is kind of obligated to say you are a good person to everyone outside of the family.

Hiss's big mistake was not being humble when she was the front runner, she instead became arrogant and beleved the press that she was going to be the nominee.

When you have to bring your Mom out to say what a good person you are, it means that most people don't think you are a good person. This mother raised two rotten kids (remember Hillary's brother getting illegal money for pardons from Bill?) Why the hell should we believe Hillary's mother? The whole rotten Clinton- Rodham family needs to just go away and leave America alone.

Bill Clinton can not stand Hillary; Bill fooled her and cheated on her, just as the leaders of Iran and North Korea will. The woman is very weak that when she gets in trouble she brings out Bill to save her and now using her Mother. She is a weak candidate and a very weak leader. I think even her mother is swaying towards Obama...
