Holy cow. Doesn't he know Rollins' history -- especially the national firestorm Rollins kicked up after the Christie Whitman gubernatorial campaign in NJ? Only folks who can't hire anyone else (e.g., Kathleen Harris) sign up Rollins these days -- I'm stunned that he's found his way to the top of a national campaign. Huckabee could've gotten someone that would've been a lot better for him (and for his image). ABC, tell us a bit more about Rollins when you get a chance...

Huckabee momentum recently is a perfect example of America's lack of critical thinking. He is an evangelical compassionate conservative in the mold of GW Bush. He is in favor of taxing, spending, regulating people's lives. However many in the heartland are willing to look past his obvious deficiencies because of his religion and some snazzy ads with Chuck Norris.
The people of Iowa need to examine each candidate's positions and not vote only on which candidate is the nicest or how warm and fuzzy they make you feel.

He is a pro-war christian...if that makes any sense. I don't think Jesus would approve, do you?

I totally agree with you. I do not understand why people would even think about putting someone in office as President of United States simply based on his religious background. I hope the American people will think long and hard about religion and all the problems it has caused the entire world over the centuries. People if you are voting for a President based on his religion, please do the rest of us a favor and stay home on election day.
