Huckabee Responds to Campaign Chair's Prediction

ABC News' Kevin Chupka reports: When asked about his campaign chair Ed Rollins' prediction of victory here in Iowa, Mike Huckabee told reporters in Sioux City, "We've never said we had to win Iowa, we certainly said we needed to win one of the three seats out of here, either first class, business or coach."

Rollins, who joined Huckabee's campaign last week and brought with him an arsenal of campaign experience, made the daring prediction to CBSNews.com Friday.

While Huckabee tried to downplay Iowa expectations (where according to the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll, he leads Mitt Romney 35 percent to 27 percent) he cited strong numbers elsewhere, "We're overwhelmingly leading in South Carolina, we're actually leading in Michigan, and we're leading in Florida."

Huckabee did, however, admit there's still some work to do in New Hampshire confessing, "We're doing okay in New Hampshire, not great…"

While Iowa may not be the end all be all, Huckabee admits, "We just know this, if we do win in Iowa it is a true upset of the classic form, to have been outspent like this and out-manned, to win here is huge and it gives us a great momentum going in to the next several months."

I really like Mike Huckabee's sense of humor. He's certainly far more articulate than the present occupant of the White House. Can you imagine how if he became President the laughs would flow like wine among the press corp?

We don't need a laughing Clown but an experience and skillful Pressident to protect the public from loose criminals.

Today, on Meet the Press, Dr. Ron Paul clearly demonstrated that he is the best truth-warrior of any of the candidates. This was a great interview....every tropedo that Tim fired at Ron Paul was destroyed with the truth. Ron Paul also revealed the injustice and abuse of the Federal Government and how the Neo-Cons trample our constitutional rights, and State rights by arresting sick people who are legally using medical marijauna and putting them into jail. He clearly demonstrated the hypocrisy and abuse of the govt. on the war on drugs, torture, etc.

Ron Paul's facial expressions were priceless, looking at Tim as if he was living in wonderland by implying that that amendments to the Constitution was not Consitutional. Tim was playing hardball, and Ron Paul easily kept hitting home runs. A great interview.

Our civil liberties are at risk, thus, we don't need a comedian in the Whitehouse, we need a constitutionist who will defend freedom and liberty. It's time to vote for someone who has integrity with a lifetime track record to back it up.
