Sure, Rice, all those countries have troops in IRAQ and they are paying for this so-called war on terror in Iraq. How come terrorist don't attack Canada or hundreds of other countries? Simple answer, then don't initiate pre-emptive war and keep troops in their holy lands. In one of the last Bin Laden videos, he gave us two options: A)Keep dying, B) give up our democracy.

Bin Laden hates us. Period. His philosophy relies heavily on the works of Sayyid Qutb. Qutb traveled to the U.S. in the 40s. He came back with an enormous hatred for all things Western, saying all it cares about are material things. His writings argued that people can only choose between Islam and jahiliyya. He argued that all Muslims must take up arms and fight, and those who didn't were just as worthy as everyone else for destruction.

Bin Laden views mass destruction of innocent people acceptable, just as Qutb did, because he sees it as a fight for his faith.

Rice and the other Bush warmongers are the biggest threat to the U.S. and our liberty. They are bankrupting our country, both financially and morally with there torture and anti-christian pre-emptive war.

On June 5 at the CNN GOP debate in New Hampshire, Huckabee and the other candidates were asked if they would support a pre-emptive strike against Iran using tactical nuclear weapons.

And now tonight, we hear that we're not even willing to remove from the table a pre-emptive nuclear strike, against a country that has done no harm to us directly and is no threat to our national security!

We have to come to our senses about this issue of war and pre-emption. We have to go back to traditions and our Constitution, and defend our liberties and defend our rights, but not to think that we can change the world by force of arms and to start wars.”

Dr. Paul, who served in the air force Air Force for five years and is a veteran member of the House Foreign Relations Committee, has dealt with important global issues for decades.

When it comes to Iraq and Iran, Ron Paul was right and the other candidates have it wrong! Paul has the understanding and experience to protect America’s national security through peace and diplomacy. His served in the military and beleives in the oath of office, to defend the constitution.

Huckabee and the Republican party are a lose lose situation.
Either Huckabee loses or the Republican party loses.
If Huckabee wins, the Republicans lose because they will forever be branded a party
of fanatical Christian zelots. With no consideration for anything like a "Broad coalition".
If Huckabee loses, the Republican party wins because it keeps its "Broad coalition" togather.
Any party, Republican or Democrat, needs a broad coalition to win.
Also, I do not think the " Value voters" are going to rebel against
the Republican party, they are not going to vote Democrat. They can sit out
elections, but with that they give up any piece of the political pie.

Let's be clear: we have lost this war. We have lost because the initial, central goals of the invasion have all failed: we have not secured WMDS from terrorists because those WMDs did not exist. We have not stymied Islamist terror - at best we have finally stymied some of the terror we helped create. Mark, if Bin Laden hates us so much, based upon the writings of the 1940's, then why was he our ally? Why did the CIA train him to fight the Russian invasion of a muslim country? The answer is simple, oil.

Why do you think Bush help Osama bin Laden's relatives flying them out of the US when all other airlines were grounded after 9/11? It's obvious the Bush neo-cons never wanted to find Osama bin Laden. They needed him alive and well, to continue keeping Americans in fear so that neo-cons could proceed with their agenda of taking over IRAQ and the "controling" their oil, not to mentiion mention tramping on the Bill of Rights. Isn`t Rice the genius who couldn`t imagine an enemy usiung an airplane as a weapon? Didn`t 9/11 happen on her and Bush`s watch after clear warning? Isn`t it true that our perseverence after 9/11 and Bush`s tragic war of choice in Iraq is due to the spirit of the American people, in spite of the incompetence of Bush and the neocon Republicans? Only Bush and his Republican allies in Congress would point to any progress in Iraq today as a triumph when in fact any competent leader at the head of the mightiest miloitary in history would have made short work of the Iraq war. Even now, Bush`s military commanders acknowledge that the decrease in violence is a product of a partnership with the Sunni`s who were killing our soldiers last year.

No to Democrats, I think you're confused. I believe Bush is for open borders as in 8 years and still can't build a fence. Huckabee has a record of getting things done i.e, education, roads, health care, for the little guy. I think America needs some of that right now, don't you? Or are you one of greed first, corporate republican types?

Mark: It's highly simplistic to believe the whole "they hate us for our freedom" excuse. If that were the case, Islamists would be taking over Switzerland--an extremely liberal country that is much weaker militarily.

But they're not, which begs the question: Why is Switzerland left alone? The answer is quite obvious. YOU check your facts. He never said such a thing. In the speech you speak of, if you read it yourself and not the B.S. summary provided by Faux News, he said that he was attacking us because we wouldn't get out of muslim lands (which he has been saying for over 10 years). He did argue that Americans were hopeless to stop those in power from continuing what they are doing, because the system here is corrupt, so he told us we need to REFORM our system - and SUGGESTED Islam as one possible solution.
Libertarians, the CIA, and the rest of the world had been warning us of the "blowback" that would result from us bullying the middle east, and everyone here laughed and said "what are those pathetic, third-world ########### going to do to us, the most powerful nation in the world?" Well, they found a way. So did we stop bullying? NO! The neocons used it to push MORE bullying - giving arguments identical to Hitler's "we need breathing room" speech.

You still have to pay for the snacks in the vending machine.

Oil companies are always calling for money.
