The Signs They Are A-Changin'

Share

January 05, 2008 11:24 AM

ABC News' John Berman Reports: The Romney campaign has made clear that the theme they will pound again and again and again until Tuesday is change.  This morning in Derry, NH they unveiled a new sign hanging on the wall of a town meeting.  It reads, "Washington is Broken."  Not only did they hang it, but they are literally shining a spotlight on it.  Subtlety is not an art practiced much by the Romney campaign.  On Friday, he used the word "change" 21 times in one 15 minute news conference.

Romney hopes to draw a contrast with Senator John McCain, a man whom he calls a Washington insider.

Romney regularly argues that his experience as a businessman makes him best suited to change Washington.

Romney is a complete idiot. He says he backs Bush 100% no matter what because he is our President. What a fool. Get this clown out of here. Ron Paul is the only candidate who makes any sense at all.

MItt has been speaking about change from the start of his campaign. Look up when he first announced his candidacy. He's been saying Washington is broke for months both on the stump and in campaign ads.

He is by far the most qualified to change the way things are done in Washington. Look at what he's done everywhere else.

Mitt keeps on changing stance. Guess his millions in Iowa could not buy him victory. He is not beating the CHANGE drum. He makes up inaccurate stories about McCain and Huckabee. He will betray the common people faster than any other candidate. He is artifical and is a complete phoney. He is the most negative person and voters can see through him.

It apears that the tithe collected for him in LDS churches dould not buy him victory in Iowa. Mitt will loose in NH as well.

There's an informed voter all right. You are embarrasing the Christian Conservative coallition with ill informed comments like this Iowa Evangelical.

As a Christian Conservative my vote is Romney 08.

Romney is exactly the man we NEED for the job.

He is the best on the economy.

He knows how to look at data and make the best decisions.

Huckabee has only been a preacher and governor of a lame state.

Mitt has been one the the best businessmen, ran the best olympics, and ran a successful governorship of a very hard state to run.

Mitt is the only candidate with credentials on healthcare, education, civil rights, as well as maintaining the conservative coalition.
Mitt=Success

I'd take Romney over Huckabee anyday. But when it comes to who do I feel the most comfort in when it comes to national security? Who will make me feel like we are in good hands if the "next 9/11" comes?

Rudy or McCain.
Hands down.

nobody's gonna change anything. they'll ALL say ANYTHING to get elected. then it's more of the same i.e. "BUSINESS AS USUAL" in washington, dc. (it has always been thus).

Just to show ALL Americans how corrupt our wolfpack press is and how much hatred they have for candidates like Mitt Romney....

......Wyoming is at this moment conducting their own state primary today with 28 delegates at stake.

Currently Mitt Romney is winning with Hunter coming in second and Fred Thompson coming in third.

Mitt Romney is the front runner despite the "poisonous LIES" coming from the most corrupt institution in America, our wolfpack press. "They" are trying to say that Mitt''s on the ropes because he came in SECOND IN IOWA!!...........PLEASE!!.......

And now Mitt''s going to win Wyoming with their 28 delegates.

Mitt is the front runner and the guy who is going to win the GOP nomination and go on to be the 45th President of the USA because he is Mr. Economy, Mr. Healthcare, Mr. Fixer.

America we need to elect a "FIXER" someone that knows how to create "wealth" like Mitt has for himself and his family. I''m ready to hire Mitt today because he KNOWS how to create wealth. As President he can create wealth for the ALL Americans...............GO MITT!.

Mitt supporters don''t let the lies and proganda coming from the corrupt wolfpack press get you down!!!!!!!

Even if any of the GOP candiates are viable, I would steer clear of them because the old guard still surrounds them. It is the old guard -- GB Sr, GWB, Wolfowitz, Cheney, etc., who are and have been running the show. They intend to go on running the show. Look at what they have done behind the scenes! For that reason and that reason alone no more Republican presidents until they have cleaned house!

Furthermore, I trust Republicans understand that all the civil liberties that have been eroded one by one (thanks to the GOP) are not just "liberal" civil liberties -- they are everybody's civil liberties, and one day some Republican is going to attempt to accomplish something he thought was a given, only to find that it was dismantled during the administration of George W. Bush. Therefore, it is important that we fight for everybody's rights, in order to retain our own.

all i can say is that is no other religion that loves this country other than mormons. they are the only one who have it in their doctrine to love and respect and honor their country and its leaders. romney will no doubt protect this nation due to the love that he has and was taught as a kid in church.

Mitt's the man most able to BUY himself the presidency. He's definitely NOT the most competent, conservative, and is the most likely to flip flop depending on who he's talking to. The only one I'd rather see less to lead the country is Giuliani. It's sad to see so much of the country just buying into whatever they hear.

Mike has Hucked up too many times and gives us Christians a bad name. As he tries to sling mud at Mitt he is only getting his own hands dirty. Mitt has stuck to the issues and not used personal attacks out of desperation.

Hi, I'm Mike Huckabee, and I don't approve this message, but here it is anyway.

Dept of Defense is now Dept of Offense, war debt feeds private banks global interests, US dollar worth as much as paper its printed on, Medicade and Medicare have US bankrupt in 30 years, LEGAL immigration gumballs and doubles current US majority population by 2040, ILLEGAL immigrants depletng education quality-bringing in drugs-murdering and molesting, US largeast export is jobs, Russia advances EMP technology, China readies for 2008 olympics, and Bush "waits out" final year in office.

Red or blue, America needs al te help it can get.

HUCKABEE is the real thing! The unifier of the nation. The spirit of 1776. The core principles are what guide us. HUCKABEE will win 2008 for the Republicans.

Seems I remember in reading the 10 commandments, that part about
"Thou Shalt Not Kill"..
Why is it then that all but one of the Republican Presidential candidates support a war that is killing hundreds of thousands of civilians and thousands of soldiers. .
Yes we lost many lives as a result of 9-11 and yet we still do not seem to understand the words of the 9-11 commission and the CIA when they reported that our meddeling in other countries affairs was and will continue to be the real reason we were and will continue to be attacked on 9-11 and all of the other attacks against the US.. and the other countries supporting our "intervention" .
It is called BLOWBACK ! ! We can either understand that or continue to intervene in other countries affairs and wonder why we remain the target of retaliation.
Soon that will be moot as our economy implodes from our govt's attempt to be the worlds policeman..

Mitt is clueless on the economy, anybody who studies economics knows that inflation is created by the FED and we are headed down the same path as Russia with a financial collapse of the dollar, clueless on foreign policy as anyone who educates themselves knows that our foreign policy of nation building and policing the world has created all the hatred toward us, we supported, armed and trained Osama Bin Laden to fight Russia and now he is enemy #1, tell me this, now that Russia is no longer nation building and bullying the middle east, Are Radical islamic terrorist plotting and attacking Russia? NO. When will we all learn that all nations have a right to self governance without U.S. intervention, overthrowing legitamate governments to install U.S. puppet Governments. Mitt is a Millionaire Politition and could give a damn about American citizens, him and every other candidate except Ron Paul has flip flopped on issues to get votes and when the battles started on that stage only on man acted like a true statesmen, Who you ask? Ron Paul, a man who is principled, educated, and the only choice for America if CHANGE is truly desired. But go ahead and put another GOP puppet in office because you cant see true, honest conviction and a path back to a free republic when it is right under you nose.
