Clinton Says She Can Control Her Husband
January 30, 2008 8:19 PM
ABC News' Eloise Harper Reports: Senator Hillary Clinton, in an interview with ABC News' Cynthia McFadden for ABC News' Nightline, was asked about President Clinton’s controversial comments about race and Senator Obama in the past weeks. Clinton apologized for her husband.
“I think whatever he said which was certainly never intended to cause any kind of offense to anyone,” Clinton said, “if it did give offenses then I take responsibility and I’m sorry about that.”
"Can you control him?" asked McFadden.
“Oh of course,” Clinton replied.
For more, watch Senator Hillary Clinton's interview on ABC News' Nightline tonight.

I love how all the Clinton apologists get on here and tell us to "get over it" and "move on". Whatever. The Clintons were masters of supressing free speech in the 90s...but NO MORE. F the Clintons and I hope Hillary divorces the A-hole once she loses next week.

Both Hillary and Bill have shown
profoundly poor judgement and have lost the faith of this one-time supporter.
Hillary lays back while Bill attacks. . . What a team ! I find it very sad and seriously question her judgement, in particular. This is no leader. The "fatal flaws" appear . . .

Mrs Clinton: Define Control?
Posted by: Popolop | Jan 30, 2008 9:45:33 PM
Those Americans who wish to bury their heads in the sand, feast on their hatred of Bush, and believe the load of hooey the Clintons shovel out as the truth deserve what they get if Billary is elected. I urge you to cast your vote based on serious study of the candidates and their stands on issues, not on your contempt for the sitting president. Our "near" and distant future depend on it.

If there was love in this relationship there is nothing to control. Do we really need a president in the White House that is the the verge of having Mental Break Down. We know how Bill eased his tension how will she.

"Hillary says that she can control her husband." Do tell. I haven't seen any evidence of this so far. If Hillary Clinton is elected President of the United States, who will actually be in charge? Her? Bill? Both of them? It's something to think about, people.
Bill Clinton had eight years to do his job. He spent the final two years of his second term trying to explain how he "didn't have sexual relations with that woman, Ms. Lewinski". He also spent quite a bit of time explaining why he lied under oath during a deposition given during the Paula Jones civil litigation. (If you may recall, Mr. Clinton allegedly exposed his privates to Ms. Jones while he was governor of Arkansas, and while she was an Arkansas state employee.) Bill Clinton perjured himself during the deposition by lieing about his relationship with Lewinski.
Bill's eight year presidency was a "co-presidency" with Hillary, or so we were led to believe by the representations of the Clinton's. We now see where that led. Hillary didn't do a very good job controlling Bill, did she? So are we going to have another "co-presidency" where Hillary is the lead and Bill is her enabler?
I voted for Bill Clinton in 1992. But to paraphrase Hillary when she commented on her now repudiated 2002 Iraq War vote, "If I knew then what I know now, I would have voted differently."

I am convinced Bill wants to tank Hillary's campaign. Seriously. Their marriage is a ruse and his ego cannot accept the notion of the Mrs. holding the big office. I really believe he wants to sabotage her campaign.

Hillary's claim that she can control Bill is just another pathetic lie.

OMG! LOL! LOL! Talking about a woman in denial!LOL!

Sure, Hill can control Bill. Give us a break.
Posted by: EdKnows | Jan 30, 2008 9:54:20 PM
well hilly you should just drop out, cause you haven't controlled him for 35 years, I don't think you could begin now. get real . WE THE PEOPLE don't want nor need you and billy in our government.

But can she control him once in the White House?
Imagine the chaos of having two presidents?
Sort of like how Dick Cheney and Bush vie for power ....
What a nightmare

Reviewing Hillary's methodical playing of the "Race card", and "The Perpetual Victim" against Obama; and, her recent commentary on Iraq; Pakistan; Energy Policy; the need to control the American Economy from the White House (this from a woman who hasn't managed so much as a corner vegetable stand, or for that matter her own marriage; but, of course you could count Whitewater); Illegal Immigration; Taxes; Infanticide; Massive new Government spending; Multi million $ Senate earmarks for supporters of Hillary's Presidential campaign; Socialized medicine; and, the Clinton's history of emasculating the military, verifies that this grievously flawed woman would be the female version of the Jimmy Carter debacle that gave us the Ayatollah Khomeini who ushered in rampant Islamic radicalism; block-long lines at our gasoline stations; a severely hollow military; and, a record Misery Index. Only much worse. Considering all of her recent gaffes, e.g. "I voted FOR IT (referring to the Bankruptcy Bill); but, I was glad to see that it didn't pass.", one has to wonder if excessive use of Botox has affected her mental stability. It's no wonder that her campaign staff is shielding her from reporter and audience unscripted questions. Greg Neubeck

This is a sure sign that we are living in the end times.
God's chastisement on America is having to listen to / read about the Clinton's domestic life.
REPENT NOW - BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE !!

Ouch! How will the former President, a man, feel deep inside when he hears his shrill wife "controls him." Maybe she was the one running things.
Posted by: stanko | Jan 30, 2008 10:01:05 PM
If she loses ( PLEASE LORD!!!) lets get her out of office in New York State. That would be the perfect ending to a very sully affair.

Why can't everyone see that the Clintons are displaying the worst of what they have to offer: political favors, egocentricity, a means-justify-the-ends approach, entitlement, and deal-making. In fact, the two of them have made the ultimate deal for each other: we will help the other reach the top, at whatever cost personally or professionally. I want absolutely no part of this. Never did. Obama 2008! (And I am a moderate conservative).

Bill is a loose cannon during the campaign. He WILL be a loose cannon as the spouse of the president.
This is applicable, and it is important in our selection of the nominee.
I cannot and will not vote for Hillary with Bill out of control and yelling at Americans, nor wagging his finger at us, nor dividing the party, nor dividing the country.
I cannot take another 8 years of this ego mainiac dominating the news and dividing the country.
Bill's behavior, and Hillary's lack of control IS important during our selection and vetting process.
Bill and Hill have lost my vote.

I despise this woman with every fiber of my being. Can she control HiM? He's the only reason she exists politically. These two are the ultimate political leeches: they will say anything, do anything, lie anytime in order to continue living off the fat of the land, i.e. America's taxpayers. The only way the Clintonistas will leave the scene is when they're thrown out on their keisters.

Imagine once Hillary takes the white house all the health care issues, all the immigrations issues, all the u.s. civil wars issues (street gangs), drug pusher drug abuser, higher educations issues, national security (lets just impose sanctions) issues will be solved in just 4 years. This woman really deserves a golden tiara . Oh Hail the Great White Hillary. There will never be progress unless each existing administration begins to work together. What kind of events will happen throughout the next administration regardless of dem. or rep. if good events -great- if bad events-then what.
