Live from New York...Hillary Clinton
January 02, 2008 4:57 PM
ABC News' Kate Snow and Rick Klein Report: On his first night back on the air since the writers strike began last Fall, David Letterman will have at least one special guest from Iowa.
On Wednesday, the day before the critical caucuses, Hillary Clinton taped a few lines for the opening of Letterman's show from snowy Iowa. No word on what she says or how funny or not funny the lines are.
"Ya gotta tune in!" Communications Director Howard Wolfson tells ABC News.
Letterman has a special agreement with the writers guild, so Clinton, D-N.Y., didn't cross any literal or figurative picket lines to make the appearance.
Former governor Mike Huckabee, R-Ark., one of the leading contenders on the Republican nod in Iowa, will be crossing a picket line to appear in-person on Leno Wednesday night.

I am glad that Letterman chose Hillary Clinton but I missed it last night. Hillary Clinton is the best candidate to win the nomination for president and become president to clean up the mess Bush and Cheney made after they leave office. I am not a republican but Giuliani is the best candidate on the republican side. Hopefully both campaign against each other for the presidency.
