Obama Parties Post-Debate with SEIU
January 16, 2008 8:39 AM
ABC News' Sunlen Miller Reports: Standing under a grass tiki hut at the "Paradise Cantina" bar, Barack Obama spoke to a crowd of 175 SEIU members, gathered for a debate watching party off the main strip in Las Vegas.
"Words are cheap everybody, there is not a presidential candidate, a gubernatorial candidate, a congressional candidate, who won't tell you that they're pro union when they’re looking for an endorsement," Obama told the crowd, "I've been working with SEIU before I was elected to anything."
Obama was endorsed by the Nevada branch of the Service Employees International Union in the beginning of January. The influential union represents 17,500 health care and country workers in the state. Obama also swooped up the endorsement of the NV Culinary Workers Union, another key Nevada union, earlier this month.
"You'll have a president that doesn't choke over the word union," Obama promised his audience, "I don't mind saying unionization."
Obama prompted the crowd to use the last four days before the Nevada caucus to make phone calls and get their friends out to caucus. Obama himself is leaving Nevada for two days, to host a series of round tables and fundraisers in California Wednesday and Thursday. He'll return to Nevada Friday for one final campaign swing before the caucus.

Obama doesn't have a problem using unionlization, isn't that because they the goverment wants to unionize all the country so we are one and one goverment, that puts chips in our bodies so they can keep an eye on each and every human soul on this god for saken planet?
