Paul Alleges Boondoggle on the Bayou

ABC News' Z. Byron Wolf: Not too many people paid too much attention to the Louisiana Caucus on Wednesday. John McCain won and Ron Paul logged his second second place finish of the primarycaucus season after his showing at the Nevada caucus last Saturday.
For Paul, R-Tex., Louisiana is really more of a third place finish since finishing ahead of the winner, John McCain, was "uncommitted pro-life."
But the Paul campaign says they got second place and maybe should have gotten first.
In a statement this afternoon, they allege that Paul supporters were forced to file provisional ballots even when they were pre-registered as delegates for Paul and they accuse the Louisiana Republican party of changing the rules at the last minute.
Paul campaign statement:
The failure of the Louisiana GOP to properly determine who was and wasn't eligible to vote threw this entire process into disarray," said Ron Paul campaign manager Lew Moore. "The party needs to correct this mistake by counting all the votes immediately, and releasing the results."
Due to mistakes by the Louisiana GOP, hundreds of voters were forced to file provisional ballots, including nearly 500 that could change the outcome of the election. According to party officials, caucus locations relied on a voter list from November 1, 2007 despite the fact that under caucus rules, voters must have registered Republican by November 30, 2007.
In multiple instances, state-certified Ron Paul delegates that were on the ballot were forced to file a provisional ballot despite the fact they were pre-approved as delegates.
The Louisiana State GOP also changed the rules at the last minute to allow other candidates to file more delegates. At the time of the original January 10 deadline, Ron Paul had the largest number of delegates pledged to him. The party then changed the rules to give other candidates until January 12 to file more delegates.
It's a confusing process in Louisiana and a trip to the Louisiana Republican Party does not clear things up. They don't even assign numerical totals to show how big the gap between places one and two and three were. In fact, at the website, a statement from party chairman Roger Villere Jr. only says Paul "appear to have captured the next highest number of delegate positions."
But Villere did praise Paul's supporters for having dash.
"I applaud the supporters of Congressman Paul for their enthusiasm and superior organizational ability. Our Party needs the infusion of new activists who have both political skill and a passion for protecting the freedoms guaranteed to us by the Constitution," he said. "I left the caucus with a renewed commitment to promote our core Republican principles of limited government and individual freedom, thanks to the zeal displayed by Congressman Paul's Louisiana supporters," Villere says on the website.
According to the website, more than 10,000 Louisana Republicans met yesterday to elect delegates to their state convention. Those delegates, led by those currently lobbying for uncommitted, will ultimately award delegates to candidates for the Republican National Convention.
ABC News tried to speak to an official representative of the Louisiana Republican party, but the phone number listed on the website http://www.lagop.com rings busy.

I will have to give credit to ABC for at least trying to cover Ron Paul. The other news agencies seem to try to ignore him all together. I think if ABC covered Paul more they would pick up a great following. Ron Paul comes up under ABC search more than any other news agency search that I can see.

Remember,
"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
The Constitution is a road map to accomplish those few and limited goals. How far we have strayed.
And as Abraham Lincoln said on January 12, 1848.
"Any people, anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable and most sacred right - a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world. Nor is this right confined to cases in which the whole people of an existing government may choose to exercise it. Any portion of such people, that can may revolutionize and make their own of so many of the territory as they inhabit.

Time Paul supporters (whom are really Freedom supporters) investigate Diebold, the company making the voting computers with paperless trails. As for the fascists, beware blowback. We've had a taste of freedom now, you cannot crush the spirit Paul has revived in us.

I think the Republicans, Democrats, IRS, Federal Reserve, Planned Parenthood, Good O'l Boys, Status Que, etc., are all afraid of Dr. Paul. There afraid of change. But we as a country need big change right now! God, Family and Country. Let's get back to our roots folks. Let's get back to the Bible and the Constitution! I believe Dr. Paul is going to win!!!

The corruption in our government is so deep that it will take the next 25 years to sort it all out. After reading "The Shock Doctrine, The Rise of Disaster Capitalism", I have no faith in our political system. Our country has been bought and sold, but nobody bothered to tell us. This election prattle is a joke. The media is treating it like a daytime soap opera or better yet Jerry Springer garbage. Dr. Paul has been disregarded and tossed aside because the people running the media don't want a government, of the People, by the people and for the people.

So what are the good people of Louisiana going to do about this? Come on people, we cannot allow this o happen. If you do, then it is you fought that your system is corrupt.
Start raising hell and digg deep! The corruption should not be hard to find. Once the traitors inside the Republican Party are exposed, demand that crimianal charges be filed. YOU FILE THE CHARGES!!!!

What gives? Forward this article, however poorly written it may be. We all agree, the media sucks and is brainwashing the public, and while it may take another 4 years to get the message across, we need to begin immediately! I'm proud to say that I voted for Dr. Paul and even if my vote is never counted I would do it again. I encourage all Constitution Party members to back Ron Paul. Stop the National Animal ID System before it destroys small American farms.

I watched Dr. Pauls responce to the question at the last debate about whether he is electable. I liked his responce about the Republicans currently promoting democracy in Iraq but suppoting a dictator in Pakastan with 10 Billion dollars. And the irony of that to me is that as a nation even though we have a democratic style, if you will, of government we are a Republic with heads of state that govern not a democracy as so many like to refer. Dr. Pauls message , intellegence and vigor for American family values of God and nation are a thorn in the sides of our current elitest system that has taken us for a ride. I pray that the Lord upholds Dr. Paul through this election battle and that we still have enough descent peoples in our government to let him rise to the occasion. God bless you Dr. Paul our prayers and hopes are with you.

Should we be surprised? NO. This election should be the most controversial election ever, because of all the political maneuvering by the Republican and Democratic parties to allow only certain candidates to participate in the primaries, as well as the voting using electronic voting machines. We know how that works! For Ron Paul, he has the media and both parties scared. If he wins, what will they do? They will try impede his progress at every corner of advancement, and cheat wherever they can to stop him. I am waiting for the results of Florida which should be a real thriller of manipulation and corruption.
I am voting for Ron Paul because there is no other candidate worthy of the presidency.
