Clinton Not Running Super Bowl Ads

ABC News' Kate Snow and Eloise Harper Report: Unlike her opponent, the Clinton campaign has not made a special advertising buy for ads to run during tonight's Super Bowl game.

"People are much more interested in watching a football game than a political ad," said spokesman Jay Carson.

"There are a lot of non-existent dot com companies who found the Super Bowl to be a very efficient way to burn a lot of money," Carson added wryly.

Clinton continues to run TV ads during regular (non-Super Bowl) programming on local channels in 16 of the 22 states that will vote on Tuesday.

Clinton is also spending millions for an hour of time on the Hallmark channel tomorrow night to host a townhall-style meeting.  Voters will participate via 22 uplinks from cities in Super Tuesday states across the country.

gabe, i see you parroted, as do so many obamaites, the rhetoric about us hillary supporters being uneducated. parroting spoon-fed rhetoric does reveal something about the person doing the parroting, but i will leave it to you to think about that one. btw, i have a law degree from a prestigious university and achieved it magna cum laude and law review and order of the coif (look it up), like your pal obama, so i'm hardly a dolt. and i earned mine with no politicking. but i know they say we're beer drinkers and obama supporters are wine drinkers and, yes, you have me there.

Mark my words Dems, if we elect Sen. Obama we will lose the Whitehouse. Can someone name me the last liberal Dem to win the Whitehouse? Don't you think the Reps are looking forward to the Sen. Obama nomination? How can Sen. Obama claim to be a uniter and not a divider compare to Sen. McClain when Sen. McCain created two of the most difficult bills with Sen. Feingold and Sen. Kennedy? I am against the war but at the same time we are there and as sad as it sounds I agree with Sen. McCain that we can't leave the country. We messed up Iraq and unfortunately this President will make everybody pay for his mistake including all of our children and even grandchildren. Sen. Obama is making the argument that Clinton is going to rally the Rep party, what about the next president nominating Supreme Court Justices, do you think the Reps are willing to lose their small majority without a fight? I also don't think that Sen. Obama can win Southern States in the general election. The last northener to win the presidency was JFK and he had a strong VP in LBJ. The last two Dem presidents were CLinton and Carter and both were from the South. Unfortunately, I don't think the Dems will win the Whitehouse without Sen. Clinton.
