Clinton Pokes Fun at Obama Referencing Celestial Choirs

February 24, 2008 3:54 PM

ABC News' Eloise Harper reports: Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., continued to critique presidential rival, Sen. Barack Obama's speaking style, poking fun at him speaking in Rhode Island Sunday afternoon.

"None of the problems we face will be easily solved. Now, I could stand up here and say lets just get everybody together, lets get unified." Clinton continued, "the sky will open, the light will come down celestial choirs will be singing, and everyone will know that we should do the right thing and the world will be perfect. Maybe I'm just lived a little long but I have no illusions about how hard this will be. You are not going to wave a magic wand and make the special interests disappear."

Clinton continued to attack Obama, D-Ill., for misleading voters about her health care plan saying what was "inexplicable to me is his refusal to put forth a plan for universal health care. And his continuing attacks on my plan to do so. I believe Senator Obama says one thing in speeches but his campaign does something else" Clinton charged. "In his speech he says he has a universal healthcare but his plan is not. His plan can not cover everyone because there is no requirement that people be covered."

Clinton held the rally in Providence, which was sandwiched by two fundraisers. The New York senator acknowledged that her Democratic rival was out-spending her in this state, but reassured her supporters that she was raking in one million dollars a day, She then urged her guests to go to her Web site to see what she is doing, and asked for a little help as well.

At a rally in Toledo, Ohio, today, Obama responded, "This morning, apparently, she said, 'well, ya know, it's just an illusion, it's a delusion to think that, somehow, you're just going to wish all the special interest power in Washington away, that you're just going to somehow wish it away, that they're just going to go away, because you hope it happens.'

"Well, she's right about that, but it doesn’t help if you take a million dollars, or 2 million dollars, or 3 million dollars, or 5 million dollars from lobbyists for the special interests. It definitely won't go away then. Anyway, we can change our trade agreements to reflect the interests of all people. We can invest in infrastructure in this country."

Again the straw man. Obama never says the sky will open, blah, blah, blah. Just Clinton building a straw man that is easy to tear down.

And again the claim that Obama is misleading voters about her... in this case, health care proposal.

Obama says it includes a mandate on individuals. Is that not true?

NAFTA= closure of fabrics in Ohio, Hillary care or a mendatory care for everboy=communist Cuba has the same system, but even there it is better, because it is the state which has mendated itself to provide universal health care for everybody which by definition is a coverage of 80% of the targeted population.

Hillary, PLEASE stop the senseless bickering and call it a day. You're destroying the country's current enthusiasm for the Democratic agenda.

And please take a loser look at the general election polls. Here's Iowa for instance, just came in today:

A new Des Moines Register poll in Iowa shows Sen. Barack Obama would beat Sen. John McCain in the general election, 53% to 36%.

However, McCain would beat Sen. Hillary Clinton, 49% to 40%.

Beware, Iowa is expected to be a competitive swing state this fall.

Obama's own words:

“I serve as a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripes project their own views,” Mr. Obama wrote in “The Audacity of Hope, his I’m-running-for-president book. “As such, I am bound to disappoint some, if not all, of them.”

THINK ABOUT IT. O KNOWS HE WILL DISAPPOINT. HILLARY IS RIGHT. BHO DOES NOT HAVE A MAGIC WAND AS HIS CULT DELUSIONALLY BELIEVES. GO AHEAD HILLARY POKE FUN HAVE A GOOD TIME AND.....WIN.
IT'LL MAKE POLITICAL HISTORY!!

Posted by: JJ | Feb 24, 2008 4:16:25 PM

OH and HILLARY never said Obama said the sky will open and there will be celestial choirs, she means the religioso nature the O campaign and its flock have taken. Many act like born agains and are up in arms to defend their savior Barak Hussein Obama. If you were Hillary would you give up? If the answer is yes, then you shouldn't be running for President.

Posted by: JJ | Feb 24, 2008 4:21:12 PM

JJ - shouldn't she give up when it becomes clear she can't win and will only serve to further divide the party?

Posted by: Paul | Feb 24, 2008 4:26:59 PM

i am posting this here because i cant find where to comment on this week with george st today. in the comedy section he conveniently missed saturday live opening showing how the press is in love with obama, sometimes i think george instead of being nutural trys hard to show he has no favortism towards the clintons without which he wouldn t be where is is at today. also why hasn t any of the press reported the black union conference in new orleans yesterday of which hiillary was the only one to take time out to address. and also while watching this program all day it came thru that blacks who support hillary are being harrassed and targeted by the obama followers for not supporting obama. why does the press cover up this story????

Posted by: sally manning | Feb 24, 2008 4:28:06 PM

What a rant she is on now. If Obama is as worthless as she says he is, why did the two of them spend the first 45 minutes of the TX debate agreeing with each other? She is so misleading...Obama frequently says he knows the insurance and drug companies will not just give up their profits easily so we can have universal health care. Is she just not listening?

Posted by: Kevin J. | Feb 24, 2008 4:29:00 PM

Kevin - that's the oddity of Clinton's Obama-is-such-a-nothing line. It doesn't explain how Obama against all odds could now be winning so decisively in the delegate count.

Posted by: Paul | Feb 24, 2008 4:33:45 PM

If one wants to explore what is true and what proposals are workable one only needs to research the information. It's very much available. When you do, you will see that the Clinton camapign is either misinformed or just ignoring the facts on any and all the issues. Which is not how to run a nation. Ms. Clinton often will say she is unaware of certain important events ie the report on Iraq and husband having many affairs. No thanks I need someone who can see the reality not just what suits her. Clinton Campaign message is NO WE CAN't . If the numbers where switch the Clintons would be telling Obama to leave the race. She is hurting the Democratic party like no other. Can someone look into the case that will be addressing Clintons invlolved in illegal camapign fund raising? That would be alot more interesting than the MCain story. The case has already begun and they will be called to testify. Why is this not on the news? Any other canidate would have to answer to something as interesting as this. Come on News people get to work.

Posted by: dd | Feb 24, 2008 4:35:58 PM

Mary Johnson. I am from Iowa and I can't not believe you. Obama will not win the Nov elec. Sorry. These polls mean nothing right now. As the Republicans are voting for Obama right now.I will write Hillary Clinton in when Nov comes around if she doesn't win the Dem. party.Obama is a good talker and that is it. I saw him and was asked by him if I would vote for him. I said no and he called me a racist. That is the kind of man everyone wants for a president? I was learning toward John Edwards. Obama isn't what everyone thinks he is. Then his camp called me wanting me to work for them I said no he isn't the one I would want for a president and then I was called an racist by them. I should vote for someone like that. No way.

Posted by: poge77 | Feb 24, 2008 4:39:15 PM

Hillary is burning bridges in places she'll need support should she become the nominee. How much support can she expect to receive in states where, after losing their primaries, she then simply downplayed their importance?

Posted by: Jim | Feb 24, 2008 4:46:42 PM

Poge77, you are a republican, do not even try that racist rant, it would not cut it, go ahead and vote for Mccain that is okay, do not lie about wanting to vote for Hillary. Democrats would rally around whoever the nominee is, just as you Rush Limbaugh republicans are rallying around Mccain.

Posted by: Emo | Feb 24, 2008 4:51:11 PM

Jim, that's an excellent point. The way Hillary has been downplaying the decisions made by Democratic voters, and her refusal to even thank her own volunteers publicly after losing states has been an amazing failure on her side. Those folks will not easily be energized by her name on a ballot again.

Posted by: Maria Moore | Feb 24, 2008 4:52:56 PM

At least I know that if HRC loses to Obama, I can vote for Nader , but most likely I will go McCain . Why take a risk and let 666(The Beast) take command?

Posted by: David | Feb 24, 2008 4:56:02 PM

I'm soo sick of HRC waiting until the debate is over to kick scratch and scream. He has factually tor apart her "uni health care" plan. And now she's pissed? I hope in the Ohio debate she goes after him on all these issues she's screaming about so he can put her in her place once and for all. She's been taking pot shots at BO from the beginning on things that don't matter! When he calls her on things that matter everyone who supports him is a dillusional cult-member. If this is your way of turning the people around who want change, Please concede now and put yourself out of this embarrassing misery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: Alease Grant | Feb 24, 2008 4:56:18 PM

Posted by: mag64 | Feb 24, 2008 4:56:30 PM

Uh-Oh, the face of jealousy has once again reared its ugly head loud and clear and its taken on the life form of Hillary Clinton.

Her continual meltdowns on live TV, at her (small) rallies and during debates when she seems to switch personalities right before our very eyes several times within a 40 minute time frame leads us to wonder about the obvious large amount of pharmaceutical meds she must be on and are they funded by her Universal Health Care program? I'm beginning to have a lot more sympathy for Bill than he ever got credit for just by tolerating this nagging witch.

She's obviously spreading herself too thin and it's way too hot in the kitchen - She can't stand the heat. Take your dignity, take a breath, and take a walk, Hillary.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm a little scared of what we'll have to witness during Tuesday's debate, however, I guess that's dependent on which or how many different Hillary's show up that night.

Posted by: JM | Feb 24, 2008 5:01:37 PM

You have all seen T.V when people are asked questions like "Who is the Vice President?" people don't know. Americans are not well informed, Obama followers are delusional, they are without facts.

Posted by: Latasha | Feb 24, 2008 5:06:36 PM

Wow, Jim and Maria,

I thought maybe I was the only one crazy enough to see Hillary's failure to acknowledge and thank her volunteers and supporters in the States she lost was rude, short-sighted and indicative of what she really thinks of voters and how she would discard you once you had given her your help.

I also thought that if I was one of the people who are constantly told I didn't count and my support was not even important enough for Hillary to compete for I would never vote for her or support her or her policies...even if she became President. I prefer even the Baptist Minister Huckabee to her who, at least, is continuing to run to give a voice to a group he fears may not get much voice in a (god forbid)McCain White house

If any of you think Hillary will not fight to be heard, you have a lot to learn. Furthermore, if you think her supporters will run to support Obama, you have much more to learn. He has been playing both ends of the spectrum. He talks about the ability to be a healer with hope and plans to bring everyone together, while he plays the race card, plagiarizes speeches, copies Hillary's plans or distorts her plans, and then tries to appear above the fray. He is not truthful, and he tries to play dodgeball to avoid the truth coming out before the convention. We will soon see how much teflon he is covered in. It's thinner than you think. If people are beguiled enough to think he is presidential, they may be surprised when Nader and McCain come calling.

People can give Nader a chance, "hold their noses" and vote for McCain, write in another choice, or be totally turned off and not vote.

Certainly, the future of this country is at stake, but, I will not vote for him. He is more of a risk than any of them, and I'll take my chance on someone who knows more of the complex issues. Lofty speeches? I still have a vision in my head of him trying to deliver Patick's speech as his own. His attempt to sound as original as Patrick is a comedy!

Posted by: georgia | Feb 24, 2008 5:10:58 PM

and for the ones that say they will "never" vote for Barack -- let's see what happens when you get the call that your sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, a close friend or loved one was being sent to fight in McCain's 100 Year War.

Petty petty petty

Posted by: dotheresearch | Feb 24, 2008 5:16:22 PM

Nader agrees with HRC. Nader, calling Obama "the first liberal evangelist in a long time," criticized the Illinois Democrat for having been "pro-Palestine when he was in Illinois, before he ran for the state senate" but now "supporting the Israeli destruction" of Gaza.

Posted by: Latasha | Feb 24, 2008 5:16:51 PM

Ok were in her speech did she say Obama said this?? I guess he must of said this line somewhere for the media to say she is making fun of Obama, and if he did give a speech about the sky will open if you voted for him what kind of nonsense is that?

Once again Hillary has said something and rather than the media understanding the message that she is trying to make they attack her.

If she is lying can the media then tell all of us exactly how Obama is going to fix all our problems because am not hearing it from him, so before they slam Hillary well then give me the proof that what she is saying is totally wrong and Obama is the best thing for America.

All that you mentioned is silly, it does not affect our every day life. Any one can sign a piece of paper . The question is what has he really done, other then all that garbage. HRC has helped Millions of children, now thats something.

I personally find BO arrogant, mean and sexist.
The big rock star effect is missing on me.. A vote for OBAMA is a vote for McCain. Come September in that booth
after BO has had to take on the Real Fighters the republicans.. he will look like a fool

David: "At least I know that if HRC loses to Obama, I can vote for Nader , but most likely I will go McCain . Why take a risk and let 666(The Beast) take command?"

I've seen this message quite a few times in the past couple weeks. Is this the new Clinton line of attack, that Obama is the anti-Christ?

That one might not play so well. But good luck with it.

As an aside, I remember when Reagan was the anti-Christ, because each of his names had six letters, lol.

Posted by: Paul | Feb 24, 2008 5:25:07 PM

Just Hillary sniping once again. She is losing ground to Obama and cannot seem to come up with anything but shrewish remarks. From an informed voter and friends - Shut Up Hillary - we grow exceedingly tired of your rhetoric.

Posted by: KC in NC | Feb 24, 2008 5:29:36 PM

Good Georgia,
The Obama followers are running by their own emotions, not by their brains.
Even my husband, that never care for Hillary -he was a republican-, now like her, because she is really smart and have specific answers; what a contrast, the media is not asking Obama the same questions... We are really getting sicker and sicker about our future if we have Obama as a president. Mc Cain, will have our vote.

Thats the way to go, I also feel the same way, go McCain. It will be my first Republican vote in my life. I will change to Independent like Lou Dobbs.

Posted by: David | Feb 24, 2008 5:34:01 PM

She is right its so sad that the media does not want to do their work. She can stand up at any rally and promise the moon and the stars, tell everyone what just sounds great but delivering all that she promise if she gets the nod will be the hardest thing.

For some they seem to love all these empty promises of HOPE they hook on to it, what is going to happen if after the first 100 days they wake up and notice that they have been duped, the messenger cannot deliver the good?

The media is just sitting around looking on, what do they feel if Obama makes it and things gets worse they will be immune to what is going on in the country when the population suffers everyone aches, so I cannot understand the media role in all this and the absence of them not doing their work and getting this man Obama to really answer what exactly it is he can deliver to this country.

I just visited the official blog at the Hillary Clinton site. Here's part of their good news of the day, I quote:

If You Watch One Thing Today: “Bastrop women ages 91 and 101 vote Clinton.”

That tells it all.

Posted by: Jean Mason | Feb 24, 2008 5:40:16 PM

Jean Mason

That tells me that the wise , who happen to be the old are going for HRC.
Children do not know any better. Maybe they (the young) should follow example.

Posted by: Latasha | Feb 24, 2008 5:44:20 PM

Right and young 18 yr old first time clueless voters are running after Obama so that tell you all!!!

But tomorrow when the election is over I will still have to find the money to put food on my table, and HOPE cant feed my kids.

Just like Obama, half truths. Here is the whole sentence: (Quoted from official Hillary website)

"If You Watch One Thing Today: “Bastrop women ages 91 and 101 vote Clinton.” Both Texas women were born before women had the right to vote."

Posted by: J | Feb 24, 2008 5:52:14 PM

The video of this little performance is not very presidential. To say the least. She's lashing out in desperation and it ain't pretty.

Posted by: Lu | Feb 24, 2008 5:56:04 PM

National Canadian style healthcare; Wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and IRAN; The powers of the IRS to audit political enemies; and those who can't afford to go into the mandated national health care plan; And continuing to offshore our industrial base, and mid-level jobs overseas, sentencing most employees into the service industry, competing against the illegal immigrants (who just got added into social security, so it will go bankrupt sooner) for what's left at the BIG GOVERNMENT plate. Yup, this sure sounds like a road to financial solvency, or more like the road the the end of America as we currently know it. I just can't wait to have to fight for my job, and the right to keep my house, my car, and my resources from the government tax collectors when "Hilliary's Army" takes over. (No wonder she loves to use the IRS and the BATF so much)

I think Frank Rich got it right in the NYT, when saying about Hillary:

As for countering what she sees as the empty Obama brand of hope, she offers only a chilly void: Abandon hope all ye who enter here.

LOL

Posted by: Marian | Feb 24, 2008 6:01:36 PM

His repsonse wasn't that Presidential . Stammering and stuttering because he didn't have a pre-written speech made up.(Would have been borrowed anyway).

I am glad she called him on it again. He knows those are misleading and destructive. I thought he was above all the dirty politics, guess not.

Posted by: J | Feb 24, 2008 6:01:40 PM

Response to what? She only came out with stuff an hour or so ago, he hasn't responded yet. This is the next phase of the meltdown, you must be thinking of yesterday's episode.

She looks petty and spiteful, whatever the merit of her argument, that is what people will remember. It's sad.

Posted by: Lu | Feb 24, 2008 6:04:09 PM

Unfortunately none of our politicians are above dirty politics. They all speak with forked tongues out of both sides of their mouths. Ted Kennedy is a perfect example - a 'reformed' drunk and a murderer.

Posted by: KC in NC | Feb 24, 2008 6:06:13 PM

I was talking about yesterday. You didn't clarify what you are talking about. What are you referring to anyway?

Posted by: J | Feb 24, 2008 6:07:43 PM

She is so pathetic. She wants to bait Obama into doing the same to her, then flipping that back to him as being the "same old politics". He's too smart for that.

Stop the mockery, Clinton. You have disgraced yourself and the party enough. Quit!

Posted by: bob10001 | Feb 24, 2008 6:26:50 PM

J, I tried to put up a link but my comment didn't go through. There was coverage of her on CNN mocking Obama and his supporters, fellow democrats. I think was one that would resonate with many Clinton supporters, Obama is full of it blah blah blah, but her tone and demeanor was so off-putting that she shot herself in the foot. She's got a likeability problem and this is how she acts? Very odd.

Posted by: Lu | Feb 24, 2008 6:31:07 PM

Shelgirl: Where did you ever get the idea that Hillary had to thank her supporters for supporting her in the states she lost. They work for her win or lose and that's the chance they take. Get a grip on life. No candidate does that right now. If she was to bow out then that's the time to tell your supporters how much you appreciated their time and effort.

BTW has anybody seen any attention anywhere to the "Economic Blueprint for the 21st Century" Hillary Clinton published one or two weeks or so ago?

I know, the press is busy writing requiems for her and carefully putting the last nails in the coffin, but WOW what a deafening silence this blueprint has been greeted with.

Posted by: Mozart | Feb 24, 2008 6:37:43 PM

Well Obama is full of it, so she's right there....lol

Posted by: J | Feb 24, 2008 6:41:16 PM

Obama has 527 ads running for him in Ohio. The exact same thing he attacked John Edwards for - but evidently he now has no problem with it seeing it benefits him.

Obama nails Clinton for Nafta but then says he wouldn't end it although today in Ohio says he didn't support it from the beginning. Seeing the was a Bush I trade agreement I would be amazed if the good Senator was following this issue closely in the 1980's and early 1990's. Anyone care to question him on this?

Obama was initally for seating delegates from Michigan but then took his name off the ballot and now has reversed positions because it wouldn't benefit him.

Senator Obama sits on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee but has missed more hearings than any other member. He is a chair of a subcommittee but hasn't found time to hold one hearing on anything.

Senator Obama says experience really doesn't matter - sound familiar? Look what we got after buying into that argument 8 years ago.

Gosh - one could write a book about the hypocrisy and shortcomings of this candidate.

Senator Obama is wholly unqualified to be President of the United States. I frankly find him frightening. If he is the Democratic nominee I will be a McCain Democrat.

For all you Democrats - there have been 16.3 million DEMOCRATIC votes cast in the primarys so far - Senator Clinton has received 627,000 + more than Senator Obama. It appears that Democrats want Senator Clinton for their candidate. For the rest of you - those Republican crossover votes for Senator Obama, so heavily pushed by the likes of Rush Limbaugh and others, will disappear for Senator Obama come November.

That is amusing I must say. On either side of this contest you have to laugh at that.

Grow up, not everyone has lived a life of purity and chastity as you claim to have. Decent students do experiment with drugs. Only idiots become drug addicts! Quite frankly I do not care I am voting for McCain.

Why won't she release her Tax Returns?
As far as brains go, at least Barack can defend himself.
He doesn't have his wife running around the country insulting people and defending him in the process.

I like the whole "celestial choir" comment. I mean Obama does try to project this aura of "holier than thou"...lol It's as if he pretends republicans don't exist. If he gets the nomination I think there will be a slight wake up call...lol

Posted by: Ryan | Feb 24, 2008 9:10:09 PM

Well maybe we should start eliminating candidate that have experimented with drugs (Like Obama) so we can set a new standard for future students that plan to run for the White House. We should raise our standards not lower them. How low do we have to go?

Posted by: David | Feb 24, 2008 9:11:05 PM

Hillary Clinton is so obviously envious of Obama’s speeches and the response they elicit---it would be laughable if it were not so pathetic. She aspires to the highest elected office in the nation, yet presents herself as a childish bully who seeks to build herself up by tearing someone else down. In her “35 years of experience”, Hillary had ample time to hone her own oratory skills. Instead, she chose to prepare for a possible presidency by ordering the same pantsuit in a myriad of colors, and holding out her hand for campaign donations.

I personally find it refreshing to hear a candidate who is able to speak well, rather than uttering nonexistent words in a phoney Texas twang (George W Bush) or sounding like P.T. Barnum calling spectators to the circus (Hillary Clinton).

The words of great presidents such as Abraham Lincoln and JFK have inspired Americans throughout the ages, and helped to define our common vision. But here comes Hillary to tell us words are meaningless and that hope is for fools. Oh well, I guess you can’t be inspiring when all you really have to say is “It’s MY turn to be President!”

Posted by: hRC didn't help NY | Feb 24, 2008 9:12:31 PM

Obama is not real. Most of his plans based on hopes and dreams and “IF”. His economic aid package won’t work if Iraq war did not end. His healthcare plan won’t work if Washing won’t change. With his rhetoric, he hopes the good peoples will work for him, to do the heavy lifting since he admitted that he did not have much experience. Etc… Obama is too cocky. Hope that God won’t drag this country down further. One Bush is enough; we can not effort to have Obama

Posted by: ironroof | Feb 24, 2008 9:15:20 PM

Let’s have all of the candidates say nothing…nothing at all….complete silence…in fact….why don’t we stop the words on this BLOG….Nobody say a word. Shhhhhhhhhh! Quiet….. No need to say anything, becuase it doesn’t matter. I shouldn’t have a response after this because what you hae to say doesn’t matter….

What? I can’t here you…your words are meaningless…meaningless. When you see your neighbor, don’t speak…When you go to church, just stand in the congregation and look at your Pastor and have him say nothing…teach nothing!

Hillary would like for Barack to take a moment of silence so that her voice will be heard? Again foolish!

Sorry to say, but “STOP WHINNING!” Don’t blame GOD for your campaign being in a slump. Put him first and all things are possible!

Mariann: "Where did you ever get the idea that Hillary had to thank her supporters for supporting her..."

I'd be happy if she just payed her vendors.

Paul, supporting a strong global economy does not mean one supports the loss of American jobs. Hillary has already said NAFTA isn't working, so what's with beating the dead horse? Trying to get it up so BO can keep riding on the thin celebrity status that is currently slipping, now that a lot of people are realizing what an unproven record he really holds while mimicing everyone elses speeches, espousing a philosophy of change in politics while he practices the worst of politics. It's all about him and he'll do anything to win, it's obvious to more people now.

Irma - I think you're confusing blog entries. That response seems to be to a post on another message board.

I loved the Saturday Night Live skit of the Democratic debate in TX. The satire of the medias' infatuation was right on the mark. I'm glad someone finally called the main stream media (and CNN in particular) out on it. Obama is winning because the media has deliberately annointed him as their favorite. I was always skeptical of the claims of "liberal bias" but after this primary season I would have to agree 100%

Jim, just like you, Hillary also wanted the audience to watch Saturday Night Life to see how the media was crazy about Obama and ignoring her.

You and her have completely forgot an earlier skid that Brian Williams informed everyone ready to go into debate that they don't matter since Hillary is their favorite, and they wanted to ask her for her inaugration speech content already...

How did she go from the favoriate to the spit on? Probably not your fault, or my fault, or her own fault? Crying, apologizing, being sincere and humble, after none of them worked, now being snarky. What she hasn't tried, is LEAVING. That might just work.

I'm amazed that Hillary's so called "the moment" was actually word for word taken from a speech that John Edwards gave. Why would she make a big deal out of Sen. Obama's speech but yet do the samething herself?

Since her moment at the debate she's been fluttering around as those she really was the darling of media and the American people because of these words she that she stole from Edwards.

I find her more and more baffling each day and find it scary to think this Bush clone would ever stand a chance of being our next president.

... "Clinton held the rally in Providence, which was sandwiched by two fundraisers." It says above.

Hillary Clinton shows us who she is now, and what she has always been about ...

Money - the little people - Money ...

No more be said, except - step down Hillary.

I wanna know where Obama's Southern accent comes from. He seems to be holding his O's a lot longer than someone who grew up in India!

HILLARY FOR THE SAKE OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY PLEASE DROP OUT AND REMIND YOUR HUSBAND HE IS NOT RUNNING FOR CO-PRESIDENT.

All you Hilary lovers should move to New York state so you can see what a big load of BS she is. In the past 8 years she did NOTHING to improve the standard of living, health, jobs, even transportation and economic development. She used NY as her springboard for a presidential bid because that was her dream. Well she is our nightmare. I'll vote for Nader if she is the Dem's choice. She's power hungry and rabid!

That is SO TRUE, Woodland! People in other states are seeing the same image she "put on" for us here in NYS when running for Senator (and yeah I was suckered into voting for her). *shudders*

Once Hillary gets your vote she'll look down on all you "little people" just like Leona Helmsley did, remember her?. :P

Hillary is a multi, multi millionaire with staff to do her hair, clean her house, etc..... she could never relate to the working poor who hold this country up.

I'm sure that Hillary's advisers have ask that she try to show a more human side but it goes against her nature making her appear ridged and robotic with a grimace rather than a smile.

Good to know she is so confident none of her potential supporters ever sit in any of Obama's massive audiences that she can wholesale mock them. Good grief, now Hillary is channeling high school. Sarcasm sometimes shows the anger of a coward.

She has behaved unpresidentially, undignified, as a pathetic loser, and how sad it is to have the whole world watching such a low act from a presidential candidate. No world leader will ever take this woman seriously, what a shame!

Woodland and Sandra: You are BOTH right when you say that voters who support Hillary Clinton should take a closer look at what she’s done as Senator for the people of NY…essentially NOTHING. What’s even more significant, she hasn’t really even TRIED. Hillary is telling the people of Ohio that she’s the “SOLUTIONS” candidate, with the knowledge and experience to bring them well-paying jobs. Why hasn’t all this “know-how” benefited New Yorkers? So many still have to leave the state in order to find jobs that pay a decent wage. Our kids graduate from college and have to work as bartenders, waitresses, or in retail. Well, at least in the bars, restaurants, and stores that are not moving out of the area or just closing down. Hospitals are closing or cutting services, but Hillary the Healthcare Expert doesn’t care. Manufacturing jobs are going, going, gone.

When Bill Clinton (and his co-President Hillary?) pushed hard for NAFTA, he acknowledged that manufacturing jobs would leave, but said that all these new, wonderful, well-paying jobs would pop up in their place. Where are they? The truth is that when manufacturing jobs go, so does the economy. That’s why the Chinese economy is exploding while ours is floundering. You know, so many people begrudged the salaries and benefits demanded by American factory workers like the UAW. But consider this: Is it really better that other countries and CEOs have that money instead of your fellow Americans who pumped that money back into the economy? Now we have to resort to things like a one-time stimulus package to stop our economy from collapsing.

Hillary likes to come out and say “I have 35 years of experience and I will fight for you” but the sad truth is that the only thing that HRC is motivated to fight for is her own personal ambition. Hillary has not fought for YOU…she has fought to keep her questionable business deals quiet, fought to hinder investigations, fought to silence and/or discredit Bill’s “other women”, etc.

Don't fall for it. All she's doing now is making Bill look like the "classy one".

Hillary Clinton, has shown me exactly why I would not vote for her in the first place. She is so thirsty for power that she is willing sidestep the issues and play silly game in politics. I beleives American are going to be smart and not fall for her deception.

The Clinton bashing is so laughable. Barack Hussein Obama is a glorified motivational speaker, but that does not mean that he is ready to be President. It is interesting to note that the wins for Senator Obama have been in Caucuses and ones that allow registered Republicans and Independents to vote. It is known but not exposed in the media that these voters are deliberately voting for Obama to throw the vote away from Senator Hillary Clinton and I know of a few myself who have done this. The Republican machine knows they can not beat Clinton. She is the only Democrat in recent times to prevail over the Republicans. I am sure the youth that shows up at the Obama rallies were probably still in diapers during the Clinton Administration. What would they know about real change? Historically, the youth vote is low in turn-out during presidential elections, so their "inspiration and activism" falters which makes them unreliable. Our country during the Clintons years thrived economically, domestically, internationally and environmentally. Examples of this are the Clean Air act, Family and medical leave, welfare to work, healthcare for low income children, the Oslo Peace Accord, the list goes on. It's called a Library; people might want to visit one. As for the African American Obama voters, no need to mention the obvious. It is disturbing that the mainstream media gives Obama a free ride and does not scrutinize his record, his experience and character. Obama is weak on national security, he even suggested in meeting with leaders of state sponsored terrorism. How naive in foreign policy. If people looked past all these cotton-candy speeches, there lays a chasm of information about Obama that is not becoming of a future President of the United States. The media has not exposed to the Kool-Aid drinking Obama masses, the ties to Trinity United Church of Christ, Pastor Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., Antoin Resko, William Ayers, and Raila Amolo Odinga. These connections will be a nightmare for Obama to explain to the American people. Once the flood gates are opened by the mass media, his campaign will be expiring just as quickly as his media generated "movement" started.

Just saw in Fox News the times when Hillary "Xeroxed" lines from Bill Clinton and Edwards and from Saturday Night.... Before she jumped and accused her opponent from plagarism, she should have checked her own speeches.

Ridiculing her opponent is one more way Hillary is trying to look good. If her opp
