ABC News' Eloise Harper Reports: Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., addressed those who think she should get out of the race Thursday evening in Winston-Salem, North Carolina saying, "Some people have been saying we should just end these primaries we should just call it quits I that think a lot of people still want their voices heard and their votes counted." She added, "this is a very close election I think that is exciting because so many people have been brought into the process and there is a real anticipation about what we can do.

Mrs. Clinton, who was running about an hour and a half late, apologized to the crowd and said she knew that the UNC game was starting in thirty minutes and understood if they had to leave. Clinton later appealed to the residents of the Tar heel state saying "I am excited and I am really looking forward to crisscrossing North Carolina in the spring what could be better than that?’ Clinton asked.

Senator Clinton kicked off her "Solutions for the American Economy" tour across the state today, with a strong emphasis on the economy. Most of her digs were not focused towards her democratic rival, but instead to the republican presumed nominee Senator McCain.

In Fayetteville, NC, Clinton was asked what he should tell Democrats who are thinking for John McCain "Please think through this decision," Clinton said, laughing "It is not a wise decision for yourself or your country."

TCG,
That's quite OK, we're listening to the 99th re-run of the country western tune by Obama called "You've got the Reverend Wright all Wrong" song.

Frankly, that song makes me sick.
=======================================
Which presidential candidate has not lifted a finger to make sure that Michigan and Florida Democratic voters are included in this election?

Clue: His name rhymes with pajama.

Everybody who loves the democratic party and loves tha democratic process, it is time for Hillary to go home and support Obama to beat McCain as a drum, there is no need to continue to attack each other, continue personal attacks and destruction. Hillary will earn respect by getting out of the race. Obam has won these primaries, that is clear, God bless America and God bless Obama. OBAMA08.

Roger Miler, the only success in North korea was through dialogue and that is the way problems are solved. America has refused to talk with Cuba and has kept Fidel/Raoul into power for half century. Please, let us think about tomorrow and not be afraid to negotiate. WestCoast messanger, Bill Clinton said that McCain is a wonderful moderate and Hillary said that he has a life time experience in national security issues and foreign policy issues and Hillary and McCain are frined. Maybe there will be a McCain/Hillary ticket, so Hillary should say what she means i.e. calling on voters to vote for her friend. God bless America and God bless Obama.

geez, I'm tired of all this bs.
At this rate, I don't care what happens anymore. I either vote in November or I don't. If you don't vote, you can't complain when your candidate loses.

I have voted democrat all my life, voted for bill twice...gore, kerry, BUT if hillary somehow wins this nomination, I will not vote for her because I do not believe she has more of anything than the other candidates. I'm not hysterical about a 'possible' female president, because I don't believe riding on bill's coattails makes her more qualified.

Since she and her supporters have spent the last two months tearing down Obama, then I'll keep my vote for someone I believe is worthy.

To Roger: Your grossly distorted view is a product of the Republican machine. Both of the Obama's MUST love this country, otherwise they would not go through the gauntlet of a presidential election. When one studies policy, substance, and presidential demeanor, Obama comes out on top.

If Obama and the news media had been honest from the beginning, Obama wouldn't even be in the race. Now, he has given so many different stories about his association with the Rev. The press has given him a free price especially ABC. Hillary get the negative press, Obama gets Golden Boy press. This Democrat wants Hillary to continue because there is no way I can vote for anyone with the background Obama has. No where in our history has anyone gotten a free pass with such a history. In fact, no one has even tried to become president who sat for 20 years listening to someone bring down the Country and most of the people in the Country. I just wish Obama would decide on one story and stick with it. I will the press would publish all the different stories he has told. If it were Hillary, they sure would. We have never had a First Lady who voiced she was never proud to be an American until her husband ran for the office of the president. I want a colorless society but this is not the way to such. You can't just give a person a free pass because he is half black and bleeding hearts feel we owe it to him. We owe more to our Country. What is wrong for other people, is wrong for Obama. He never tried to bring about change in his own church and community but now he has people believing he can bring about change. Get real! He didn't even have enough patrotic feelings and enough desire for change to keep his children away from the hate rants. Isn't it odd that now he says the Rev. was still in the'60s. Maybe he is still there because people like Obama and his wife continue to listen to him so why should he change?

Why would Clinton get out when Obama cannot get enough delegates to win the nomination? Its just stupid period.

The fact is that Kerry, Kennedy and Pelosi really want to run with Obama to the white house. All they will end up with is a george Mc Govern style landslide for Mc Cain.

Obama cannot win back the Clinton democrats.

Of course the RIGGED polls will TRY to show that Obama can win them, but its a total crock.

Dont forget that Mc Cain hasnt even begun to campaign yet.

Obama cannot control the entire media. Cyburn cannot tell Mc Cain to CHILL.

Obama wont get 'caucus's and split delegates . He wont win red states.

Its a totally differnt situation and its not happening . He is unelectable.

The republicans will swift boat the guy and the Liberal media cannot control the negative news like they are now for him.

I think its a shame that the media decided to FORCE once candidate upon us.

How does a candidate win when the MEDIA -which is supposed to be neutral- is COMPLETELY against you.

Its impossible. Nobody can win.

72% of all voters get their information about the candidates from the TV networks.

American has now taken our vote away from us . We just vote for whoever they BRAINWASH us to vote for.

To Dodd, Richardson, Pelosi, Beccera, Olbermann, Matthews, Fineman, Richard Wolf, and everyone else who is screaming at Clinton to get out....shut up and let the voters vote. You people don't get to decide, you don't get to tell us what to do. You have your platforms, public office, tv shows, magazines, etc...what do us peons have? Our vote? Unless you want to advocate for the working people in Michigan and Florida, just go away until this is over.

Hilary is endorsed by the people that want the war to go on indefinitely.

Everybody knows this.

BTW... Didn't Kerry have a whole lot of general supporting him?

Thos who will chose McCain or whose who praise him instead of the democratic party candidate are obviously betraying thier own conscious.

Posted by: leche | Mar 28, 2008 12:10:23 AM

Hillary is really a hypo. before telling other not to chose McCain why does not she tell her Bill to stop prasing him over other democratic candidate.

Posted by: leche | Mar 28, 2008 12:11:56 AM

Hillary stays because the Democrats want her to! Now, when will BO get out? He doesn't represent the majority of Democrats, therefore he will not be OUR nominee....I heard Wright's bulletins were released to the media today and he cancelled some appearances. Obama can read can't he?

The true leader will never give up or give in ..... Fight to the end for what you believe...

Never call your rival to quit.. it just only understimate yourslef...

You either beat your enemy up or are beaten.....No matter what you will be called true fighter...

I thought the Democrats jumped the shark many times when they would defend the idiotic.

However, in defending Obama and supporting his hatred and racism...the Democrats are finished.

Racism is racism!

Now, Democrats...inhale...and think logically, if you are losing the white vote, which is what is happening with Obama in the primaries, how do you expect to win in the fall? About 30 percent of Hillary supporters have already decided they will support McCain. That's MORE than enough to cost you the election.

What is wrong with nominating a patriot?

Obama is sick.

Posted by: Ben | Mar 28, 2008 12:21:55 AM

Ok...someone point me in the direction of the 527 group so we can grow that 28 percent.

Posted by: Nick | Mar 28, 2008 12:26:31 AM

22% of Democrats want Clinton to step aside.

22% of Democrats want Obama to step aside.

Assuming there is no overlap in the above percentages, that means 56% of Democrats want the race to continue. I would say that 56% are the true Democrats who want every vote to count.

DEB, we don't all choose to hang out with people who are obsessed with prejudice and let it dominate our spiritual growth.

DEB those are not accurate claims. They have been debunked by the fact checkers. The items posted by American Independent are facts because they are fomr real government sources not candidate websites.
