Controversial Clinton Guest: 'Osama for Obama'
March 04, 2008 10:42 PM
ABC News' Kate Snow and Eloise Harper report: A controversial party guest was spotted at Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's election night party in Columbus, Ohio Tuesday.
He was hard to miss. He was the one wearing the "Osama for Obama" t-shirt.
Columbus resident Todd Elbaum told ABC News his friend makes the t-shirts.
Elbaum did not hold back on his views of Obama when he was interviewed by ABC within full view of a Clinton staffer.
"The truth is he was born a Muslim, his father was a Muslim, his mother married a Muslim after divorcing his father. His grandfather was a Muslim. It doesn't matter. But what does matter is when Obama said he was never a Muslim. He was a Muslim. He was born a Muslim. He was a Muslim for six years of his life," Elbaum said.
Watch the VIDEO HERE.
Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., has repeatedly said that he has never been a Muslim and is a practicing Christian.
"I've been to the same church the same Christian church for almost 20 years," Obama has said. "I was sworn in with my hand on the family Bible. Whenever I'm in the United States Senate, I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America."
On CBS' "60 Minutes" Sunday night, Clinton, D-N.Y., was asked about rumors that Obama is a Muslim and said she did not believe the rumors.
"No! No! Why would I? There's nothing to base that on. As far as I know," she said. Some have suggested that the use of the phrase "as far as I know" suggested she had doubts.
But yesterday Clinton was more emphatic in saying she did not believe the rumors. She said she, too, has dealt with vicious rumors and expressed empathy toward her rival.
"It's disturbing to turn around and see this all the time... I hope people get beyond it," she said.

Karl Rove would be very proud of her and her minions.

Enough is enough! Todd Elbaum is a misinformed idiot of the lowest degree. And that Clinton staffer should be ashamed.

On behalf of the Clinton campaign I reject and denounce this fellow, who is obviously acting independently and distastefully, and has no relationhship with the campaign.

Todd Elbaum thinks that people are 'born' into Muslim....which is, a very Muslim way of thinking, but not at all an American way of thinking.
Todd, in America, most people believe that a person can choose their own religion.
Barack is accurate in saying he was never a Muslim. Now, you take your definition from Muslim tradition, so in your Muslim way of thinking, you can make an argument otherwise.
But in a Judeo-Christian way of thinking, he is correct...he never, upon age of majority subscribed to the Muslim faith...hence he has never been a Muslim.
Do you understand now, my friend?

In a grand show of bi-partisanship, Sen Clinton campaigns for Sen McCain... how nice of her. Next week, the Clinton camp will be trading notes with the McCain team to best optimise a dual front on their mutual adversary.

This young man should be asked to turn his shirt inside out. It's inappropriate.

While I understand people are going to have misperceptions, it is sad. I take Obama at his word on this issue unless proven otherwise (which I doubt).
This country was founded on the premise of freedom from persecution based on religion. I hope that voter gets educated on the issue and finds peace.

Rejoice Clinton supporters: all you've done tonight is make it much harder for the democrats to finally win back the white house in Nov. The only way your candidate can take the nomination at this point is to tear the party in 2 and leading us to defeat in Nov. Why OH and TX voter couldn't this is beyond me.
Oh, as far as this Elbaum clown: are you sure it wasn't Karl Rove in disguise?
It's just too sad to me that Hillary Clinton, as of tonight, is not just going to lose, but now has to take the party down with her. She is not going to be president; the question is whether she'll let it be Barack Obama or continue on and let it be John McCain.

Once again the old-school Clinton campaign style takes over....Hillary doesn't want change and she can't lead change because she is incapable of changing herself. This shows the kind of people she attracts. Shame on you Hillary - get out now before this gets out of hand!

Ohio is not known as a bastion of intellect, at least in the rural areas; I am not surprised a stupid rumour like this would find traction outside of the educated areas.

Hillary's Kitchen Sink worked its magic of deception - fear & rumor rules OH and TX afterall.

Hillary's camp is constantly spouting racist and Islamaphobic rhetoric against Obama and any family history of practicing Islam. It's sick. Plain and simple, it's sick.
Posted by: Micah | Mar 4, 2008 11:11:58 PM
Thank you Ohio. Thank you Texas. You know, when I read over "user comment" sections like this one, I move more and more into the Hillary camp and further away from ever even considering Obama any longer. Obamamites, read over your comments, try to think clearly, and say something productive. I've never read so much whining and Hillary bashing in my life -- not even from the right. If the GOP wins the nomination we are all responsible.

It's so fascinating the Limbaugh has been on the airwaves urging Republicans to vote for Hillary to prolong this tearing each other's camp apart. At the end of it will we even be able to come together?
No matter who you support, remember your candidate won't win the white house with other bringing the other candidate's supporters on board.
We are fortunate to have two smart qualified candidates so quit spewing the hateful remarks and move forward

So "Dem in Chicago" - You don't want the rest of america have its say????
Just because one of your guy is running, doesn't mean others don't get to say their word.
What kind of democracy is that?
May be the Obama supporters should learn something from GOP - they let the guy who didn't even had a slight chance to win, stay in the race until the real deal......
Don't you even imagine that you can shut the rest of america that disagrees with you....

Where can I get myself one of those tee-shirts? Hats off to Todd.
As for Obama's remarks regurding the pledge of allegiance, if he does truely does believe in the pledge, why will he not put his hand over his heart during it? The American President should be a true patriot and believe in American culture, and not try to conform to others.
Posted by: Kate | Mar 4, 2008 11:34:23 PM
If either of these two become president in November, this country will lose the true values it was founded upon. This country was founded by religous people. This is a country under GOD. We are a republic; we are not a socialistic country. We have the right to competition, and competition will create the best prices to the American people. It seems many (and I am not by any means saying all, but supports who seem to just jump on the band wagon without being truely informed) democrats do not seem to understand that logically, if government is to implement programs such as national health care, taxes must increase. The plans Obama and Clinton hold will likely increase taxes by over $500 billion per year. In America, we have the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It is each citizens responsibility to take care of himself from there.

It was nice to see all the Republicans vote for Hilliary in the primary today. I can't believe these jerks call themselves Democrats. They are nothing but pro war Republicans. It's sickening. But between McCain, Hilliary or Obama, have no worry, a Democrat is guaranteed in the White House now. And they say people are Anti-War, whatever. Just wait for the draft, you better start hiding your children NOW!!!

Molly, you and those like you are so arrogant. Maybe the people voted for Hillary because she has a better health care plan or they are not ready for the change Obama blathers on about. Todd definitely needs to realize that even if Obama was "born a Muslim," that he is not a "Muslim" unless he practices the religion and believes the faith. Obama is whatever religion he believes the most in.
PLUS why all this religious hatred? IF Obama WERE Muslim, what should that matter? He is an American citizen first and foremost before any religion and I believe that he truly will do whatever he can for the American people. What does it matter what religion, race, or gender a person is? This does not determine their competence as the President of the United States.
Posted by: Amy | Mar 5, 2008 12:13:10 AM
The point of all this should be what does it matter if he were or if he is a Muslim. Did Mitt Romney run from his religion? Did John Kennedy run from his religion? No, they did not. Religion is personal. Many in this country have that faith, so what is anyone trying to say here? Obama should be proud of his family and proud of his name. He may be of the Christian faith now, so what? I worked many years with a lady from Turkey who had married a US serviceman. She was a Muslim, and the finest person you could ever meet. Did she wear her religion on her sleeve? No. And no one cared what her religion was. It's personal, and the Constitution guarantees freedom of religion.
Right now we are fighting two wars in the Middle East full of Muslims. Are all of the people in those countries evil? No. Osama Bin Laden planned the attack on America. He is the evil one. Saddam Hussein gassed and murdered thousands of his people. Is he evil? Yes. And there are many others who want to do us harm, and they supposedly do it in the name of their religion, and that is evil. We had no business going to war with Iraq with flawed intelligence given about weapons of mass destruction. All of the people in the Middle East are not evil, and their religion in and of itself is not evil. Evil people do evil things.
Instead of trying to defend his name and its linkage with Muslims, Obama should embrace his name and his heritage, and ignore the isolated hate mongers who always go for the jugular when they can't debate the issues. Instead of the hatred epithets against Hillary Clinton based on gender, sexism, or ignorance, they should strive to debate on real issues. Don't blame the hatred of Muslims or Muslim names on Hillary Clinton, she has been through enough of the same kind of garbage all because some do not really know how to debate the issues.

I saw the same thing happen at my polling spot,in fact the ladies there said they had ,had 100's of Republicans voteing as democrats !!!It's all a set up election ,and Obamas people should have polls investigated ,mainly the small rural polls.People who voted asked about the 'convention' after 7:15 and asked what they needed to do,they were told as I was ,to just come back and sign in and then leave !!People were not told that at these 'conventions' they would be chooseing delegates for thier candidate !!Totaly unexceptable as that we were misled into thinking the elections were finished as soon as we left the second time ,so much to how well the 'Texas two step' voteing system worked out !!It's a failure .

I know a way we could ALL vent what ever issue we have with any of the candidates!! Allow a voter to cast a negative vote.....Give the voter a right to cast a vote AGAINST a candidate!!!....Some voters will vote FOR someone and some voters will vote "anybody but this person" and cast a negative vote. Tally up the "for" and "Against" votes and the candidate with most net votes wins!!!!! Brett
Posted by: brettski | Mar 5, 2008 12:26:46 AM
ARGH!!! Politics!!!
And Republicans who vote as Democrats... Have you no shame? Why not just allow the election to be fair? Why must there be such stupid disparities between Democrats and Republicans. DO NOT ABUSE YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE!
People worked hard and died so that Americans could vote - and now of either gender or any race. And you would show such disrespect to these people by rigging the voting? Shame on you.
This goes for any Democrats who may ever vote as another party for the same reason as the Republicans did above...We are all Americans. Why be so cruel to your fellow Americans and not give people a chance to have the candidate that they really want win fair and square.
If Hilary were to win without these Republicans rigging it so that "she won't win nationally," that would be fine. Otherwise, I think it is wrong and that people should petition for a recount in states where people have admitted to do this crime.

I saw the video in which Obama's wife was saying "You know......they used his name.........." and the crowd goes "boooooooooo"
Really......so now no one should use your husband's name?????
I clearly understand that Obama is not a muslim.
But still its his name right?
If he hates it so much.......why can't he just remove it officially????
If you want to keep it for your heritage then get ready for shots like these..........
You can't have it both ways.....

Posted by: Bishop | Mar 5, 2008 12:29:58 AM
Localjoe,
Yes, this is not fair about Catholics in many Muslim countries, but this is NOT the Middle East. It is the USA and is *supposed* to have freedom of religion.
If ANY religion is mistreated in the U.S., this should be considered unlawful.

Obama cannot beat McCain. McCain will get a very appealing VP and will beat Obama on all the issues. NO REPUBLICAN will vote for Obama. Then they are not Republicans. Rush wants you to vote Obama which is why he plays that game of supporting Hillary. GOP wants Obama, he has no experience and that will be apparent in any debate. Independents will clamor to the GOP. Most do not want to give a drivers license to an illegal alien which Obama will.
Posted by: Janet | Mar 5, 2008 12:30:40 AM
Janet,
I'm not arguing over who wants Obama to run against McCain, how well he'll do,etc.
I think it is wrong that any party votes in the primaries to get the candidate they think will likely lose the final Presidential election to win the primary. Rigging the election in any way is wrong. Vote for who you believe will be the best president.
Isn't that the point of voting?
Posted by: Amy | Mar 5, 2008 12:34:59 AM
One thought people may not be having is realizing that many of Obama's supporters are Indies and disgruntled Reps. If Clinton gets the nom, those voters may cross back to McCain or vote for McCain as anti-Clinton votes since they dont care about the Dem party. However, the party itself will not be divided I think. Turnout and a unity ticket will therefore be needed to beat McCain.
Posted by: DCVoter | Mar 5, 2008 12:40:08 AM
david... are you unable to see that this is Obama's attorney that infiltrated a Clinton press conference? Your logic seems flawed.
Posted by: DCVoter | Mar 5, 2008 12:41:35 AM
Voting is a right & I have the right to cast my vote as I see fit! If Republicans in Texas are voting on local elections most times they HAVE to vote in the Democrat primary. Here in Texas we do not have to register as a Dem or Rep. We just can't vote in BOTH primaries. Lets see the Republicans have McCain, why shouldn't I vote for the Dem I want to see in the running for the White House? Just because I am a Republican doesn't mean I shouldn't have say in which other candidate will have a 50/50 shot at being my next president! That is not in any way shape or form "fixing" anything election wise. I am exercising my Constitutional Right! I thought you Dems were all for that? Oh I forget y'all just like to whine & blame everyone else for your failures. If the Dems lose the White House again, blame Hillary & her dirty politics!
Posted by: candysdandy | Mar 5, 2008 12:41:44 AM
You people are unbelievable, Obama can do no wrong. Amazing how Obama and his groupies whine and accuse any wierdo who wears an offensive t-shirt as being planted by the Clinton camp.
However, his adult female groupies are all to happy to be called "Sweetie" by Obama. (Don't believe me, I didn't believe it at first either, it was so arrogant and condescending -- watch him greet people on C-Span after his speeches.) To call a grown woman you don't know in a political forum "sweetie" is unacceptable and unbelievably arrogant and to me says something about possible future abuses of power. I'm surprised, or am I that no one noticed this or cares about this (do you need another pillow, Barack?)
They're all too happy to call Hillary a witch, because sexism is okay. In fact, women are some of the worst at this. Fortunately, many of them do notice how sexist the media is, and the bullying tactics by Obama and his politics-as-usual buddies like Kennedy and Kerry.
At least Clinton doesn't try to pretend she's not a politics-as-usual campaigner.
Obama is a hypocrite - happy to hold her accountable for one vote as bad crucial judgment, but his own bad judgment, well, that's just boneheaded.
Obama has NOT run a positive campaign, it is not possible if you want to win in this country. He's the one whining "no fair" now that his buddy being on trial by association implicates him. He needs to take a time out and spend a few years actually voting, then let's see how he's able to deflect questions on his voting.
Posted by: tshirt_tt | Mar 5, 2008 12:48:40 AM
Amy,
It is not a crime! It is my constitutional right as an American citizen to vote my conscience & I did. McCain has the Republican nomination so I should be able to add my two cents to the other side. It is my right to have my voice heard also! You are not the only special one. I assume you are young or just not familiar with Texas politics as most local elections ALL candidates run as Democrats, so in order to vote for your choice in local politics you HAVE to vote in the Democrat primary. Once you do that you CANNOT vote in the Republican primary. Get over yourself you are just upset cause you are an Obama supporter & a whiney Democrat!
Posted by: candysdandy | Mar 5, 2008 12:49:08 AM
Is anyone interested in the issues?
We could start with the 5 TRILLION+ dollars coming due on the Iraq-nam war. Climate change is another big issue. What about health care? The trade deficit from crude oil imports? The cost of gasoline and it's effect on inflation? The 10 TRILLION dollar national debt... NOT including unfunded entitlement programs that have long term debt obligations of 50+ TRILLION? Jobs? Peak oil? Ozone collapse? Ocean fishery collapse? Rising seas from ice sheet collapse? Ad infinitum.
Wild rumours about Obama's religious beliefs or Mrs. Clinton's sexual orientation seem sort of irrelevant considering that the very $urvival of the nation is a $take.

Do any of you do research, google websites, or actually learn anything before you make emphatic statements? Why must you call entire populations of states outside of the big cities "ignorant" because they live in the Heartland? Folks out here can read and write, and some of us even THINK about things. Give it a try, and for a nanosecond remember that none of us will get out of this world alive. We are all riding the same planet into infinity...thus you are no better than I, nor am I better than you. Posted by: MEL | Mar 5, 2008 1:24:26 AM
Republicans have a dignified nominee and Huckabee gave a great concession speech. It is time the democratic party decide who has the highest number of delegates as of the end of the day or else they are going to loose the support of the independents. The negative campaign is getting ugly and has rewarded Hillary with victories in 3 states after loosing 12 in a row, if Obama has to continue winning does he needs to stop being dignified as he has been or get at least as negative because there are people in this great country who fail to see the big picture and hang on to the petty name calling and labeling. For the trillionth time Obama is a Christian and even if he was not it does not matter to any intelligent voter who understands the constitution. Whether one of Obama's supporter has done anything illegal out of the millions who support him is irrelevant to the confidence he inspires. So all these petty allegations are an election ploy to perpetuate a dynasty or contributes to silliness that should disappear soon.

Candysdandy,
I am not from Texas, so I did not realize that that is how the primary was run.
In my state, Democrats vote for Democrats & Republicans vote for Republicans at the same time. Hilary & Obama were two Democratic candidates and McCain was a Republican candidate.
I am not an Obama supporter or a Democrat. And I am not extremely young either.
I am sorry that I did not understand that you *had* to vote as a Democrat. In my state, those who are registered as a Democrat would receive a ballot that would not have McCain & vice versa for those registered as Republicans. Independents cannot vote for either Republican or Democratic candidates, but just on state, county, or city propositions.
I guess not all primaries are run the same in all states, and I was not aware that in Texas it was different.
And please do not assume that I am a "whiney" Democrat. I am not necessarily an Obama supporter either, I just find that religious intolerance, sexism, or racism should be acceptable. I also think that at least in my state, those who really support McCain, or Hilary, or Obama should not switch parties - which now I understand you didn't do: you have to go through a huge process to that here - in order to skew the results on the "opposing" party's side in their favor.
But that is my opinion.
I wish that we could actually stop hating each other and work to make this a decent country and a decent world.
Posted by: Amy | Mar 5, 2008 1:27:55 AM
STOP TALKING ABOUT HOW OBAMA INSPIRES THAT IS REDICULUS. LOOK AT THE FACTS AND THE EXPERIENCE THE PERSON TO KEEP US SAFE IN THIS COUNTRY. OBAMA IS FULL OF WORDS AND EMPTY SPEECHES. HE IS NOT A CHANGE HE IS AN ILLUSION THAT BRAINWASHES THE YOUNG AND IGNORNAT AND MISGUIDED. HIILARY FOR PRESIDENT

Posted by: Amy | Mar 5, 2008 1:31:43 AM
P.P.S.
Boby,
I don't know if you meant to write to me, but I did not mean that I feel Obama supports religious tolerance, anti-sexism, or anti-racism, etc.
Again, I am not an Obama supporter, a Hilary supporter, or a McCain supporter. I do not know enough about each individual to know who I support yet.
I don't support insulting any religion - including Islam.
I don't like people insulting people. Calling Democrats whiney or Republicans stupid, for example, is just insulting.
Sorry if I've insulted people, that was not my intent.
Ok now I've gotten way off topic...

So, for what I gather from Clinton's supporters is that to be a MUSLIM == BAD FOR AMERICA and since Obama was raised MUSLIM then he is BAD FOR AMERICA. I guess that since we are so afraid of the BAD MUSLIMS then we never should think about a leader that has any tides (if there are any) with ISLAM. It doesn't matter what kind of new ideas might he/she brings to the table. Honestly, democrats (Clinton democrats mainly) are looking more like BUSH REPUBLICANS every day this campaign goes on, what a shame. I wonder what is next BLACK == WRONG FOR AMERICA... This is very sad.

Amy, my comment was for whoever said Obama inspires them. I must say I appreciate the fact the you are waiting untill you know enough about the candidates before you vote. Too many people vote without all of the facts. It is so important that you look at the facts and not what the media or other misguided peopel are telling you.

For anyone interested in seeing how the "electability" picture looks between Obama and Clinton, I have been keeping track of which states I predict will be swing states (less than 5% difference in 2004 and/or less than 30% Bush approval rating). I also include the Red and Blue states in my counting based on voter turnout. I am not including McCain numbers since I knew he would get their nom. Here is what the numbers look like so far:
For states that have held primaries/caucuses for both parties so far:
Red States in 2004 with higher Dem turnouts account for 78 electors. 52 Clinton, 26 Obama
Blue States in 2004 with higher Dem turnouts account for 142 electors. 102 Clinton, 40 Obama
Blue Battleground States in 2004 with Higher Dem turnouts account for 74 electors. 36 Clinton, 38 Obama
Red Battleground States in 2004 with Higher Dem turnouts account for 102 electors. 62 Clinton, 40 Obama
Electoral totals so far: 252 Clinton, 144 Obama
Clinton definitely appears more electable considering the fact only 270 electors are needed to win in November and there are only 10 states left in the primary contest. She is onto something here... if she can pull out a win and unify the party with the right ticket... I think she will beat McCain.

DCVoter, you are right Hillary is the one that can beat Mccain. Obama will not win newest polls show that CLinton is the one that can beat Mccain.

Obama supporters can't take a hit. Boo hoo. This is America and we can vote for who we want to. Face it, you lost RI, Ohio and Texas and Hillary is ahead in the popular vote, without Michigan and Florida. Brace yourselves for a battle. These are popular votes. Your fellow Americans' votes.
Clinton 13,269,869
Obama 13,256,148

Actually Amy I agree with you! I wish we could all just get along.
I am sorry to have come at you so strong, but when you assumed we were voting illegally & committing a crime it upset me. As I explained Texas does things different, as do most states. I think most states do things their own way. I know I have learned a lot about how other states handle their elections by watching all the different primaries.
In Texas we don't register as Republicans or Democrats. When a primary happens we vote in 1 partys primary. We cannot vote in the other primary that election year. Come January of the next year we are again free to vote in whatever primary we choose if there is one (usually not). In the general election we can vote however we choose. Election processes are very confusing & Texas' is no exception! I am a native Texan & I have been confused more than once!
Again, I apologize for my rude remarks. Good luck to you on your candidate search, it's not an easy decision, especially wih so much at stake! Take care! Candy

BOBY - while I agree caucuses are bad because they are not secret ballot, I also think they are bad because they disenfranchise lots of voters who cannot participate. I think the main reason Obama does well in caucuses is because his supporters are mostly college kids and liberal lattes who can take the time to caucus.
The democratic core cannot do that and of the core voters who can caucus, some are women who dont feel comfortable voting for someone their husband or neighbor is not going to approve of. (An example: In Texas early voting, they had to remove a husband from the polling place because he would not let his wife vote unless he was standing there watching her and telling her how to vote.) The college kids are likely to be subject to peer pressure also from the kids they go to school with or even just be caught up in the moment and not making an educated decision based on the issues and qualifications of candidates.
I keep seeing interviews and reports of voters who do not know anything about their candidates other than media hype. But overall, I think caucuses do not reflect the will of the voters. WA state results prove that theory.

People are begining to see that all Obama has to offer is a lot of words and empty speeches. His hot air will soon run out and people will see the truth about him. Just wait until the Rezko Trial gets more coverage and the fact that he sent a message to Canada about how he lied about NAFTA for political gain. ANd what is this change he talks about every new president is change. The change is that he is a smooth talking liar. People are beginning to see Obama for the liar he truly is. Hillary for President!

Not only do we have major race issues, but now we have this religious test, which apparently only applies to blacks.
The clintons didn't need blacks to win in the primaries, so they won't need blacks in November. Black people should stay home on election day and let the clintons win and govern the united states of whites and latinos.
They certainly won't get my vote.

LA....Mitt Romney wasn't black & he was drug through the mud because of his religion.

leche thanks - I cross checked and it is fine. Remember those are only electoral counts for states that have held primary or caucus elections so far. When all are done a total of 538 electors are available. 270 to win in Nov. What do you think is wrong with the math? Maybe something is misleading? let me know

LA, the Clintons were in Texas & they did not reach out to whites or blacks here, just hispanics. I as a white person doesn't want to be ruled by her as she doesn't care about me anymore than you think she doesn't care about you. With that being the case, you & I need to vote so we can be lead by someone who cares about you, me & the rest of our country. I know how you feel though, like a slap in the face.

Amy - if it will help you, try searching on vote smart to find the organizations (.org) website so you can get all the facts on each candidate regardless of party. They have the bios, additional info, voting records, interest group ratings, campaign fund sources, and more.
Vote smart!

Caucases & super delegates need to be rethought....elections can be bought with a system like this.

I am an American.
I live and breath as a Muslim.
I didn't know that following Islam made me one of those who couldn't ever run for office. What am I supposed to tell my children? You are American... but you will never be the President of the United States of America? You are American... but others will never trust you, so watch your back... You may even lose your citizenship because of some crazy terrorists' violent acts... You are defined by their actions and words and not by how you act and live as an AMERICAN, who just happens to be MUSLIM?
Should I stop considering myself an American? Until lately that identity has been an inherent part of me, but now I feel so much hidden hatred and fear in my "enlightened" fellow Americans' hearts. You can work with me, be my friends, neighbors, but not be represented in the government by me?
Obama may not be Muslim, but whether he is or not should not matter. What should matter is how is he going to solve our country's problems? How will he include in the process, citizens from all races, religions, ages, economic backgrounds, and even the Republicans?! :) Put aside your hatred and open up that beautiful American mind of yours. We all have something to offer each other and this country, a melting pot, that the world has long envied.

LA, stop playing the race card Hillary clinton is more black that Obama. SHe cares more and does more for blacks. She fought for blacks when she was only a teenager and has carried through to present day. Skin color does not make a person that fights for blacks.

"Elbaum did not hold back on his views of Obama when he was interviewed by ABC within full view of a Clinton staffer."
The Clinton staffer standing nearby should have 'rejected and denounced' this kind of behavior...and Clinton herself, by not sending this man on his way indicates that she condones this type of fear mongering. Do we really want someone with her lack of moral character and lack of integrity in the White House?
