Clinton Issues Post-Primary Schedule (Yes, Post-Primary Schedule)
May 29, 2008 2:04 PM
ABC News' Eloise Harper Reports: The press traveling with Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign received an email Thursday afternoon informing reporters they could sign up for travel through June 6 on the campaign website.
Given the speculation surrounding plausible outcomes from this Saturday's DNC Meeting and the final Democratic primaries on June 3, many confused looks passed between reporters on the back of the press bus.
When asked for comment, Clinton spokesman Jay Carson looked past Tuesday's primaries to the general election.
"There are a lot of places for us to go between June 4 and November," Carson said.

and mccain hopes that no one bothers to look at any of his economic policies or the rest of his campaign and that the war goes smoothly for the next few months
please no uprising... please must pretend we are winning... pleeeaaasseeee

Well, as I have been saying all along, Hillary and Bill would rather destroy the party than exit graciously. Gracious exits have never been there strong suit.
However, destroying the democratic party is a new high or low...for even them. But I am somewhat resigned to that. If she cripples Senator Obama as she has tried to do and continues to cripple him so that he loses, she will destroy any legacy the Clinton name has as well as ensure that she goes down in history as a bitter, yes I said bitter, vindictive woman that the Republicans have always said her to be and that the dems who know her admit privately.
And the backlash of voters who join together to defeat her will be huge. If the AA candidate who plays by the rules is denied the nomination because of her lack of respect for the rules she agreed to, the cost to her will be enormous. The cost to the party will be the White House and its future survival.

if the shoe was on obama, he would not quit. maybe you should find out how he actually got into office in chicago. he played very dirty and probably alot worse then clinton. go to cnn polotics and read about "obama plays hardball polotics in chicago". very interesting and it is not a lopsided article either.
Posted by: JENNIFER | May 29, 2008 2:28:32 PM
why is it that when clinton was ahead with the delegates that obama said that the popular vote should stand and that the delegates should not overturn the people's choice. when did obama flip flop, oh wait he has lied all along.
Posted by: JENNIFER | May 29, 2008 2:31:31 PM
hmmm never actually thought of it that way, but maybe the plan is not because she thinks she will continue to campaign for herself but for obama
interesting...
if she wins she continues on with her itinerary
if she loses she continues on with her itinerary but for obama...
smart, i like it...
i shouldnt have rushed to judgment, i was looking at it one sided as if this would just be about her... but yea... could be her campaigning for obama
anyone knwo what the stops are?
Posted by: bhrandon | May 29, 2008 2:34:05 PM
Nope.
Obama never said that. When Clinton was ahead in the delegate race she said exactly what Obama is saying today, it's a delegate race.
When it seemed the delegate race was out of reach. It was the "big" states that mattered. Obama won some big states. It's the electoral vote. That arguement wasn't flying it's now the popular vote.
A mistake? Yes, b/c Obama has the popular. No matter how she tries the spin it the SDs aren't buying it.

Regarding Florida and Michigan:
OBAMA is insistent the primary results are invalid since the two states failed to follow party rules and the rules are the rules. NO THE STATES DID NOT, THE PEOPLE DID NOT, SOME OFFICIALS DID, SO PUNISH AN ENTIRE STATE AND MAKE THE VOTING UNDEMOCRATIC. Of couse OBAMA doesn't want Florida "for sure" because he lost and you know what come November no one in Florida will vote for him either!!!! Isn't this a democracy anymore?

anne,
he has stated they will be seated, he wants to give hillary her fair share of delegates, hes even offering to be even more generous
so...
your argument is failure
PS
i think he will have some work to do in florida
but lets face it, hell get votes unless hillary is counting them like shes coutning votes in michigan
anyway,
the election is far more important then a primary... the economy, the environment, the war...
all these things will drive people to the polls
will some spiteful peopel refuse to back obama because they are jaded
sure
will more peopel look past this and know that the truth is that their party leaders screwed them and that they can have their voices heard in the general?
of course
but like i said obama will have major work to do down there

CAUGHT LYING AGIAN: According to this FEC report, Hillary raised only 4.3 million in the 48 hours following Pennsylvania. She raised 1.7 mil on April 23rd and 2.6 mil on April 24th. That's 5.7 million shy of her claim that she raised 10 million in the first 24 hours following that state's primary.

Yes-to the convention!!!!
Hillary 08
Posted by: unstoppable 08 | May 29, 2008 2:53:03 PM
The Clinton legacy is on the line.
If Hillary fights to the convention, she can guarantee Bill will be the only Democratic Party president from 1981-2012.
If Hillary leaves the week of the last primary, Obama will easily defeat McCain.
It's clear, Hillary can not let Obama become president. It must be a Clinton or no Democrat.

She's planning on storming the podium in January to tackle him and try to make Justice Roberts swear HER in instead!
And to you Florida whiners: Look people, YOU voted in the morons who moved the primary and caused the problems. Many of these morons have been in the statehouse since 2000. So vote them out. Otherwise, too bad--so sad. Stop blaming Obama, it makes you look childish beyond belief.
Posted by: Kathleen | May 29, 2008 3:03:03 PM
Since neither candidate can reach the finish line, it's off to the convention.......FOOD FIGHT!
Posted by: SadStateOfAffairs | May 29, 2008 3:03:26 PM
Stay strong Hillary! You have them running scared.
Posted by: Mack | May 29, 2008 3:06:05 PM
If she takes this to the floor, she is done politicaly. TOAST!! Great legacy for the two of them.
Bill Clinton's scandal costs Gore the White House in 2000.
Hillary Clinton lunacy costs Obama the White House in 2008.
I wonder what they have planned for 2012, nuke the nation??
