Clinton Returns to Puerto Rico … And the Dancing Continues
May 30, 2008 10:25 PM
ABC News' Eloise Harper reports: Sen. Hillary Clinton arrived two hours late Friday night to her rally in downtown San Juan. She spoke for nine minutes but didn't leave her event without pulling some dance moves onstage. Renowned Puerto Rican musician Juan Luis Guerra played reggaeton and Latin techno music. Clinton smiled onstage as she danced with supporters.
Clinton spent last weekend dancing through the island. Last Sunday morning, she swayed to the music in an evangelical church, followed by more dancing in Boqueron Beach and then did a little shimmy with a Fox news producer in old San Juan, clutching an El Presidente beer.
Perhaps tradition will hold and Clinton will continue to dance her way through this weekend.

Yes, Hillary will dance her way to the Convention! Go Hillary!

Lets see if she carries the same tune a week from today.
She'll be at home weeping.

I'm sorry but who really cares about Puerto Rico, they can't even vote in the GE. They are not a state but if they are allowed to vote in the primary then why not the GE.

I hope the spirit of my old dear friend, Lydia, is there dancing along with Hillary and and bringing her some good news in old San Juan, the hometown Lydia loved. It sounds like a place full of beautiful spirit. That's quite a contrast to the mean spirited diatribes exhibited this week in the campaign.
Bring her a big win, Puerto Rico!

If an Obama supporter's utterances fall on deaf ears, could one assume that they never said anything?

Is this one of her "big wins" she keeps talkin about?
Posted by: jozy | May 30, 2008 10:57:47 PM
Lisa -apparently the Dems do. They have more delegates than many (most?) of the states.
Posted by: Tony | May 30, 2008 11:04:17 PM
Hillary - take it to the convention!!
No matter what the DNC decides tomorrow.
The fear that Pelosi, Dean and Reid are showing for whatsoever reason is shameful.
Someone tell Pelosi and Reid to just SHUT UP! They can go search the dictionary to understand thye word 'DEMOCRACY'.
Let the process take it's own course. May be - it is headed to the Covention.

Tony, why do they have so many delegates when they aren't even a state. Do you know.
Posted by: lisa | May 30, 2008 11:07:16 PM
I just watched the tape of Obama's priest friend of 20 years and I am really shocked by the viciousness of his performances.
I have watched Hillary closely and at no time and occassion in which I have detected Hillary's "sense of entitlement" because she is white.
JUST IMAGE IT WAS HILLARY'S FRIEND OF 20 YEARS HAS MADE THIS SPEECH ABOUT OBAMA, SHE WOULD BE DENOUNCED AS THE QUEEN OF DIVISION, EXTREME NEGATIVISM AND RACISM.

Lisa - I think it's the party's ruling. Congress gets to decide what's a state, but the party's can decide on the delegates in the territories. They are US citizens -- so it makes sense as a matter of justice to count them. The Virgin Islands and Guam participated before PR. The Repubs. have 20+ delegates in PR. PR is closer to the Democratic party than the Repubs. This might explain the delegate differential. There is a longterm statehood movement in PR. The radicals want independence, I believe. The Dems would love for them to have full voting rights (electoral votes and congressional membership) because this would augment our power.

Hillary will be so bored with NY, when she returns in a couple of weeks. She and Bill have already booked a vacation home in Martha's Vineyard for the entire month of September- you know, that place where non-elitist, beer swilling, working class folks go to hang out for vacations? I wouldn't want to be one of her personal servants after this election is over. Everyone has famously heard how horribly she treated the Arkansas state troopers and White House Secret Service guys assigned to her. Imagine all the 'dogs' she'll be kicking in a few weeks, when there are no more votes that matter. "Fan me and feed me, pool boy! More wine you lazy swine! Gotta feel good about that 109 Million (and counting) though. Back to the money trough for Big Bill. How about a new book deal for Hillary with a monstrous advance, to pay off her campaign loans?

Back to the bars, dancing, beers and shots for Hillary again I see...
Nice... Real Presidential.
Good luck with all that come Tuesday Hillary. Maybe next you can run for Dogcatcher in Puerto Rico or maybe Arkansas!!

Michelle Obama said that she was proud of America for the FIRST time after Obama's win. Her statement has brought out questions about her attitude towards the rest of Americans which are not black.
Yet, Obama defends her like a pitbull and will not admit any mistake on her part. What does Obama really think about our nation? There is absolutely nothing to be proud of America except after the Americans have given him undeserved votes?
Obama's friends, wife and associates can say anything negative and wrong and get away with it, but when Hillary is insulted and rediculed as no one should be, the press seems to be half deaf and purblind.

Next stop?
Dancing with the Stars.
Good to have a plan for the future Hillary! Way to go.

Thanks Tony but I still don't understand why they have more delegates then some states. I'm not stupid but this really does not make any sense to me.

I guess you missed the past two days of the "press being deaf and blind"? My God you guys whine about everything!
Awe Poor Hillary

West Texas,
Yes.

I AM REALLY SADDENED THAT I MIGHT CAUSE DEMOCRATS TO LOSE THE WH AS I WILL WRITE IN HILLARY NO MATTER WHAT DNC DOES.
IN MY CONSIENCE, I JUST CAN'T DO OTHERWISE AS I CARE FOR AMERICA TOO MUCH.
I HAVE BEEN PROUD OF AMERICA FOR A LONG TIME UNTIL BUSH WHOSE ELECTION BY BLIND MOB WHO LOVED HIS "FOLKYINESS" AND "CAN HAVE A BEER WITH" FRIENDLINESS. JUST SEE WHAT THIS ONCE POPULAR AND VERY LIKABLE BUSH HAS DONE TO OUR NATION. FOR THE FIRST TIME, I AM NOT PROUD OF AMERICA.
I JUST CAN'T HELP AMERICA TO MAKE THE SOME MISTAKE BY CHOSING ANOTHER "FOLKSY" AND "EXTREMELY LIKABLE" GUY.

To day is the first time I have seen the tape about this rabid priest's mockery of Hillary.
Obama's statement was shown too, but Obama has not shown the least sympathy for Hillary's pain of being so indecently ridiculed.
INSTEAD, OBAMA WENT ON THE GRANDSTAND OF TALKING ABOUT UNITY, AND AMERICANS' DECENCY TO FLATTER THE PUBLIC.
I want to ask him:what would he feel if he exchange places with Hillary?
It is frightening to see such callousness towards a fellow democrat if she is a tough opponent.
