Obama was picked as one of the 25 fittest men in the country by men's health magazine so I guess a couple cigarettes won't hurt. I would be worried about mc-more-war having to stay up past 9:00pm. I hear he can get very grouchy, and that every senator has a story about his uncontrollable temper tantrums.

Past presidents may have smoked, but the medical info wasn't known in those days, so that's a really lame excuse for letting Obama off the hook.

The bottom line is that the President is suppose to be the "best" our country has to offer. Obama is sending a message to our youth---like drugs and cigarettes will not hurt you in any way. The message is that you can smoke for years and years, and take crack cocaine for years, and it doesn't hurt your health. I'm afraid a few doctors might disagree with this statement, but apparently Obama's doctors think differently and he is in good health. So how many young people lives will be ruined by the character of Obama if he is elected President. I know character doesn't count anymore and words like honor and tradition are out the window---a swift change is in the making, yet no one has a clue what this change is going to bring.

Sigh… I used to smoke – it’s been five years since my last cig. But for me the “trigger” was not stress but food and drink. Smoking after a meal, especially a heavy one, or after a drink (alcohol)… mmmm. Because of that, I did not go on a diet at the same time I stopped smoking. If Obama’s “trigger” is stress, he picked the wrong time to stop smoking. Maybe he should start going on the wagon in January, when he goes back to the Senate.

Apparently Obama smokes AND has done hard core drugs in the past. Hmmm... to all you clowns hammering McCain, he had the will power to quit...once again Barry Obama's thin skin comes through.

Yet again, ABC focuses on this non-issue, this pseudo-negative story, to offer this pointless, insignificant "criticism of Obama and he can "defend" himself...just like constantly running the "He's not a Muslim" story and letting Obama "defend" himself there.

That way Obama and the media don't have to focus on Obama's genuine faults that would, should, make American's question how ready he is for the Presidency.
