Obama and Clinton Together Again at June 26 Fundraiser
June 17, 2008 6:31 PM
ABC News' Eloise Harper and Sunlen Miller Report: Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama will make a joint appearance June 26 at a fundraiser in Washington, DC. This will be the first time that Clinton has joined Obama on the campaign trail since she conceded to him the Democratic presidential nomination earlier this month.
The event will take place at the Mayflower Hotel.
Clinton fundraisers received an email from Jonathan Matz, Clinton's National Finance Director, to join the Democratic senators for the event, to discuss how can Mrs. Clinton can help unify the party and help elect Obama to be the next president.

Hillary deserves to be a true leader for this country. She's willing to do anything to get Obama elected even though Obama and his supporters treat her without respect. I admire her effort.

Just wonder if Obama will ask Hillary to one to one debate with McCain for him...

Please be advised: these are all republicans speaking. No democrat in his right mind would say such dumb crap.

Glad to hear about more Democratic unification efforts between the two. Too bad it's not reversed with the smarter and more capable one!

Why didn't Obama attend her conceding speech. But Obama attends a fund raiser. SHows you where Obama intentions really are. MONEY AND POWER.

It is clear that Obama believes that if he can win in the purple states that he will not need Hillary’s help to win the states that he lost during the primaries. It seems to me that the Democrats are putting everything on the line and taking and unnecessary chance just to keep Obama’s ego in tact. But, his actions in picking this former Clinton employee shows that He is, plainly, afraid of a running mate who has her own independent power base. This is not strong leadership. What a weak beginning to his "new" era. Furthermore, Obama's search for an alternative to Clinton on the ticket is a pitiful display of a desire to punish the person who could help him most. Nobody else comes close, unless what he wants is a silent rubber stamp incapable of assuming the presidency some day.

exactly they manipulated delegate counts by givign the SDs more of a vote over MI and FL regular delegates and used affirmatikve action rules in the caucuses etc which are obsolete! they can go on and on but questions still remain as they did before the last primaries!

If Obama were a loser, I don't think he's not willing to support HIllary. He would fight until convention.

Anyone who really respects Hillary Clinton will respect and support her wish for Barack Obama to be elected President. Period.
