Obama and Clinton Together Again at June 26 Fundraiser
June 17, 2008 6:31 PM
ABC News' Eloise Harper and Sunlen Miller Report: Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama will make a joint appearance June 26 at a fundraiser in Washington, DC. This will be the first time that Clinton has joined Obama on the campaign trail since she conceded to him the Democratic presidential nomination earlier this month.
The event will take place at the Mayflower Hotel.
Clinton fundraisers received an email from Jonathan Matz, Clinton's National Finance Director, to join the Democratic senators for the event, to discuss how can Mrs. Clinton can help unify the party and help elect Obama to be the next president.

BHO is a known unknown.
This country has had 8 years of unknown. Do you want another 4 years of unknown, unless you trust "Revolution We Can Believe In (Chairman Mao Ze-Dong)".
Excuse me, Change, what the heck, Revolution is Change. Bho Changed to Change. I guess it does not count as plagiarism from Chairman Mao.

Obama picking Patti Solis Doyle to be chief of staff for the VP candidate is a flagrant slap to Hillary and her supporters...sure Clinton couldve done a better job to overwhelm Obama in the beginning but that doesnt make any and all of his actions right!

My fellow Hillary supporters, I am so proud of you all for still firmly supporting Hillary even when she is in her down time. But I have to tell you all that please don't think even a minute that Obama would pick her on the ticket, because Obama is much dirtier than you realize. Just look at who he has chosen to be the chief to his VP candidate? Solis Doyle, Hillary's former campaign manager. This has already told you that Obama will not choose Hillary. I have a feeling that Solis Doyle might be a spy in Hillary's campaign working for Obama and she intentionally ran the campaign poorly so that Obama could win. This explains why Obama would still choose her even though she ran a poor campaign.
Plus, so many of party insiders don't like the ticket, including Jimmy Carter, Nancy Plosi, Ted Kennedy etc. They and Obama worked against Hillary and forced her out of the race. Now they are just trying to take everything they can away from Hillary. Why would they do Hillary such a favor to put her on the ticket?
I think all of us should stand strong against the corrupt democratic party and dirty Obama. This whole democratic fight has made us clear what kind of man Obama is and what kind of party this is.

We know what kind of man Obama is. He is a known unknown, who will be controlled by his loser club members.

No Hillary as VP, AND McCain gets my vote.

Hey Dem38, if there is a whiner in the crowd, you got a lock on it for sure. Red or White?

Megan,
I agree. Thanks.
I don't want Hillary on the ticket also.
Even, let's say she is on the ticket. I will not follow her.

Matter of fact, we could all learn from the book Winnie-the-Pooh. Don't knock it till you read it. Rabbit and Owl are certainly well represented by the various opinionated, self-important and conservative know-it-alls who frequent these blogs. Don't knock the Bear. Peace.

I will only vote for Hillary in 2012 and the people meeting at the Mayflower are the big fat cats who refuse to give money to the convention and I hope they take a stand like millions of Hillary's supporters have. MCcain is looking fine to me.BO is in big trouble no money and losing in MI and FL and PA and OHIO it is what they get.One book and Hillary's debt will be gone .And since she is not going to be VP thank god she has plenty of time to pay it off.

It's sad that people who were once Clinton supporters now see her views on which candidate is the better choice (Obama or McCain) is irrelevant.
At what point did they turn the corner to support a candidate who is against universal healthcare, for the war in Iraq, made sexist jokes about Clinton's own daughter, and supports the same economic policies which led us into the current downturn?
Sad to see that this small, vocal fringe group can't see the forest for the trees.

The Truth,
Hillary, didn't have to stay with Bill and she doesn't have to attend fundraisers with Obama. She acts out of her own free will

Stephanie, to what are you reffering when you say Obama and his supporters treat Hillary without respect?
Posted by: zellie | Jun 17, 2008 8:10:02 PM
McCain was good enough for Kerry to consider him as a VP in 2004, so he is good enough for me to vote for come November!

True Truth,
Why would Obama ask Hillary to debate McCain for him?
Posted by: zellie | Jun 17, 2008 8:11:08 PM
dem38,
Why are you so sure Obama will do the samething in regarding the war as the other candidates?
Posted by: zellie | Jun 17, 2008 8:13:34 PM
Hillary has more than earned the VP slot (i.e. 18 million votes).
New ABC poll shows many Hillary supporters now plan to support McCain or stay home - and Obama CANNOT afford to lose these votes.
And Hillary's approval rating - up by 10% over last month.

True Truth,
Why would Obama ask Hillary to debate McCain for him?
Because she is smarter and stronger than Obama. Didn't you see any of their debates - she wiped the floor with Obama.
