Something's Different in Camp Clinton

June 03, 2008 9:31 PM

ABC News' Kate Snow Reports: As news of Sen. Barack Obama's, D-Ill., triumph in the Democratic nomination battle travels across the nation, camp Clinton isn't hearing any of it.

Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., is holding her election night event at New York Baruch College Athletic & Recreation Center in New York -- the first time the candidate has not been in a contested or about to be contested state during the entire primary process.

Other than the fact that we are 2 stories below ground in a cinderblock no-frills gym on Manhattan's Lower East Side, there are also NO televisions.

There have been large screen TV's at every one of Clinton's election night events. Her supporters watch the results come in, they cheer when they're shown on screen.

Tonight, no TV's, cell phones and blackberries don't work down here...no contact with the outside world. People in here cannot see the ongoing countdown clocks on the cable channels. They didn't know when Obama has crossed the threshold.

Here's an update from a Hillary supporter -- Hillary is crushing Obama in South Dakota. Obama is limping across the finish line and is trying to declare victory before he's zipped his pants. Is he going to have a smoke?

Hillary can stil fight it out in the credentials committee, and the floor of the convention. I'll back her all the way.

No superdelegate has voted yet. not until August. Let Obama explain why he is getting his butt kicked tonight AGAIN. someone who loses 60-70% of his OWN party voters is not going to win the general election

Over,

Hey you convinced me. I'm going to officially turn these blogs over to the Republic Guard going forward and will enjoy watching them crush the Obama Zombies. They will miss the good old days when WestCoastMessenger was roasting them. It just gets downright nasty and mean from here on out, the Zombies will never know what hit them.

God Bless Hillary Clinton!!

There's Hillaryland and then there's real big world out there. They don't seem to go together very well.

Hillary stands up for Democratic voters in her information proof bunker. Wait until the going gets real tough.

Geevil,
YOu convinced me. I'm back on the blogs and we'll continue to crush the Obama Zombies ourselves. Let's take the fight to the streets of Denver and the floor of the convention!

NO way would I ever vote for Obama. I'm a republican and want to vote for Hillary in November. Hillary would be stupid not to keep going, she has so much support outside of the democratic party! If she take the back seat as VP I just couldn't vote for her, Obama is just too risky!

The DNC nightmare isn't over yet. The Clintons don't forget nor forgive.

Why doesn't anyone mention the Michigan vote problem? The Demo committee gave Obama votes, when literally no one voted for him because he wasn't on the ballot. How do you justify that? Talk about a rigged election. I am sure he could have got votes if he was on the ballot, but he took his name off. Period. Between that and the "1/2" vote stuff, people are going to have a field day in Fla. and Michigan with slogans like "Vote Republican and your vote counts 100%" or "1 person 1 vote for Republicans only" Not to mention that Obama's going over the top tonight is with the help of 45 or so votes from MI, where no one voted for him.
