ABC News' Jennifer Parker reports: Sen. Hillary Clinton is expected to appear and speak in person Thursday in San Francisco, California before 6,000 labor activists at the annual convention of American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME).

"We were the strongest supporters of Sen. Clinton during the Democratic primary," AFSCME spokesperson Gregory King told ABC News.com, "and now Clinton is coming to thank us for our support and ask us to support Sen. Barack Obama."

Obama will speak to the group via satellite from Cedar Rapids, Iowa following Clinton's remarks.

"She's coming to basically set the table for him to speak to us," King said.

AFSCME endorsed Obama for President on June 19, 2008. The union group has 1.4 million members.

Another milestone in the twisted relationship between these two. But when will she press her donors to give cash to Obama? Maybe when he makes a greater effort to pay off her campaign debt. It's a hostage situation...

Obama offered the super delegates cash for their votes, and many of them took the bribe, even those whose districts and states Hillary won by huge margins. Isn't it time to have a congressional ethics panel investigate the elected officials who opposed the will of their constituents for cash?

No Hillary as VP = No vote for Obama.

Hillary - 18 Million STRONG!

Of course, obama won't be there. He'll speak via satellite.

Wake up, America! The guy's a complete fraud.

So, once again Obama can't be bothered to actually show up to meet these people. When will America wake up? This guy could care less about every day Americans. It's all about HIM.

If Obama does not choose Hillary, he will lose.

If I were advising Hillary, I'd tell her to reject any Obama offers and sit tight.

Hillary is doing anything in her power to help Obama but he doesn't return any favor back to her even put her name on the VP contender.

I've been an AFSCME member for almost 22 years and I'm all for Hillary! I agree with all of your emails, if no Hillary....no Barack! AFSCME stands "18 Million Strong!"

NO OBAMA---Hillary YES
If NO HILLARY THEN GO MCCAIN GO!!!!
Obama is a fraud who does not have the experience or dedication to run this country. In all aspects he shouldn't be allowed to run. He was borned in Hawaii which is considered a territory not a state. Also only one of his parents are an American, I never saw the law changed to permit him to run?? Where is the justice here??????

Hellooooo...are we ONE Democratic party?????? Please explain how you can rationalize supporting Hillary in every area except her support of Obama....for her party, for this country!! Are the Republicans right?? Democrats are going to bicker their way right out of the White House's back door!!! For PETE'S SAKES stop this madness. Do we want 4 more years???
This makes no sense. Had Hillary won I would be supporting and voting for her!!! AGAINST MCAIN!!! He's the 'enemy' right?!?!?!? It is unerving to read all this nonsense.
And by the way....18,000,000 people @ $1.00 a piece equals $18,000,000 for Hillary...put your money where your mouth is and lets get her out of debt shall we?!?!?!

It is simply amazing to me how ignorant we as Amercans can sometimes be. This man (BO) is a COMPLETE fraud! What America needs is experience NOT experiments! I agree with CH above,

No Hillary as VP = No vote for Obama.

Hillary supporters are 18 million STRONG!

Hubby and I, undecided. Sent Hillary money. B.O. will have a huge awakening on day 1 and we'll have 8 years of blunders. If B.O. choses Hillary for V.P. I will vote for him.

All you Hillary supporters I ask you 1) as a woman 2) as a black woman 3) as a terminally ill cancer patient. What are you try to accomplishes? I don't mean to be rule but if Hillary is asking us (women) to put our differ aside what your beef? Taking my position looking at what at stake this seem like it more about you than Ms. Clinton or the causes she represent. If that the case that a Dam shame shame on you

one of the posters wants to describe Obama as not a real American because he was "borned" in Hawaii which is "not a state".
He\she should check her elementary school history and spelling books. People are born and Hawaii became a state years before Obama was born. And all tou sullen Clinton supporters had better check Mc Cainn

There is a lot of cognitive dissonance here,to say that if no Clinton then McCain.

For God's sake check out his record on womens' issues! War! Separation of Church and State! With McCain in office you will lose you right to buy certain contraceptive devices and forget abortion.

Is that all you have? If you cannot see that this is NOT and OBAMANation, then yuo are truly blind. 18 million cracks in the glass cannot all be wrong or misguided. You really need to check yourself. He can't hold a candle to the level of experience that Hillary has. He needs to "man up" and own that and NOT at the cost of the American people!
