Biden Enjoys V.P. Wait with Family By His Side
August 22, 2008 9:24 AM
ABC News' Lisa Chinn Reports: As a small media circus congregates at the driveway to the family home of Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., a collection of Biden relatives, staff, security and supporters have driven past in last 24 hours.
While Sen. Evan Bayh, D-Ind., sits in his Washington, D.C. home and Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine toils away at his day job, Biden, in the middle of the Senate's August recess, enjoyed a dinner out with his mother and son Beau, and visited with his brother.
Long a supporter of law enforcement, he is also enjoying the luxury of county police making the rounds here as well. Staffers and supporters have dropped by, too. Presumably, all these folks are giving the notoriously loquacious Biden someone to talk to - because he's sure not talking to reporters.

Biden would be a good V.P. pick for the Obama camp....they are both losers!

Michelle: why can’t you people just realize Barack will heal your broken souls if you vote for him? Carrie: My soul ain’t broken, Michelle. Why don’t you fix your own damn soul before you start in on mine? BTW, girlfriend, I’ve ALWAYS been proud of my country.

mccain is shown in the paper today trying to text his supporters with a morse code device. Very funny, but not very far from the truth. This guy has shown he is very out of touch with reality.

My pick for the biggest white-guilt liberal remark so far in this campaign: Chris Matthews, MSNBC-Obama network: John McCain, in questioning Obama’s inexperience, is giving the racists permission to vote against Obama. So now it’s racist to prefer that the leader of your country have a few years of experience under his belt? Well, Bill O’Reilly predicted it months ago. Anyone who questions anything about Barack Obama will be labeled a racist. I’m almost afraid to order a vanilla cone at the Dairy Queen instead of chocalate. Somebody might catch me on camera, and label me a racist. Heaven forbid.

Dottie, you hit it right on the head. Enough of this political correctness crap, I'm proud & happpy to be white and apologize to no one for it.This started with Bill Clinton and look how it's back fired on HILLARY. And when I eat ice cream it's double dip vanilla.

Dottie -- Your comment has absolutely NO logic! #1 - If you're implying that Obama or his campaign are labeling anyone racist, I assure you that Chris Matthews does NOT speak for them. #2 - Matthews was not saying that anyone who voted against Obama because of inexperience; he said that racists (and they do exist) will latch onto 'inexperience' as a socially-acceptable reason to explain their vote. For example, out of 10 people voting for McCain because he has more experience, only 1 of them might not really care about experience but be using that as an excuse not to vote for the black man. ----- I have heard FAR, FAR, FAR more conservatives complain about being called racist than I have heard anything that might be accusing someone of being racist. It's a convenient slap that often has no relation to anything that has actually happened. Be honest (at least with yourself) how unsupported and illogical your arguments are. The bottom line: you want to say something negative about Obama and/or positive about McCain so you'll grab any words that come to mind. Listen to Rush each day and learn the currently fashionable complaint. ------- Fortunately some voters care about facts, policies, character and leadership qualities and are paying attention to those things.

McCain will flip flop on any issue whether it's Roe V Wade, Ferry Falwell tax cuts for the super-rich like himself or immigration to get elected. A made who mockingly sings about bombing another country is exactly what we don't need. The right can't win on the issues. They resort to race baiting, lies about Obama's home and even pathetic attacks on his wife. You don't hear them talk about worker's rights, health care, the need to deal with the disasterous Republican fiscal irresponsibilty that's condemned futur generations to immense debt. They can only take cheap, hateful shocks.
Biden would be a brilliant choice for Obama. A contrast to zillinaire Romney.
Did someone here quote Bill O'Reilly? LOL!!

Elizabeth, get a life. Nothing you just wrote makes any sense. Why are 90% of blacks expected to vote for Bamaboy? Hmmmmmmmmm, you think it's because he's BLACK, or half anyway? "OF COURSE IT IS" That's racist lady!!
Posted by: bombem | Aug 22, 2008 12:45:12 PM
Still waiting Joe? Pathetic, be a man and withdraw your name. WHAT ALOOSER!

This blog is about VP speculation, not hate-driven dogma.
All you haters, go back to masturbating to Rush and Hannity. You had it your way eight years. You failed. Back off.

Anybody else wanting to mud sling Sen. Biden will get a swift kick in the rear from me.

Biden said he's "not the guy". Too bad, I would actually consider switching parties if Barack chose him.
I love them both.
Now if I could only get them to embrace more conservative beliefs...

Wishful thinking on your part Coach Thumper. Sorry but there is going to be a whole lot of masturbating going on for the next 4 years, at least! And by the way, Masturbating is an art form, different than following around an anti American jerk off like you are. "YOU" started it Coach !!

Not one issue. I didn't see anything except arguments about perceived character flaws. Our problems stem from idiots voting other idiots into office. And people tend to do this over and over again. Who cares about change or experience. I'm voting for the most intellegent person running.
Posted by: Josh McDonald | Aug 22, 2008 3:51:16 PM
Glad to hear it, Josh. You'll definitely be voting for Obama, then, seeing as how John McBush graduated 894/899 from his legacy appointment to Annapolis. He also crashed five jets, helped rip off a bunch of folks in the Keating 5 debacle, ditched his crippled first wife when she needed him most, bailed out on her medical care, can't even remember how many mansions he owns and has been talking for the last year about a country that doesn't exist (hint for the mouth-breathers: "Czechoslovakia").
McSame is an even greater son of privilege than Bush, never in his life actually having held a job. He's been on some form of Federal Public Assistance since that day in Panama (foreign country, for those keeping score) 71 long years ago when he emerged from his Mama's womb.
McSame never had to have brains, never had have anything but his name. He's had the best healthcare America can provide all his life and STILL doesn't think the rest of America deserves it.
It's hard to fathom at this point but, if elected, Jon McSame will actually make all of America look back fondly, even wistfully, at what a smart guy W was. Really. He's that evil-pig-eyed mean and stupid.
Posted by: Bob Kincaid | Aug 22, 2008 4:57:55 PM
Bob, it's not McShame knuckle head, it's McWinner. Oh man, are you brain washed. You're right Bob, Czechoslovakia does not exist. But please have O Dumba tell us where the hell the other seven states are. How have they avoided detection? Oh, maybe he's thinking about Arab states, you know, his heritage!!
Posted by: bombem | Aug 22, 2008 5:17:02 PM
Stay classy, bombem! Racist much?
Really? I'm brain-washed? That's what caused the McCainchurian Candidate to graduate 894/899 before I was even born and crash five jets while I was still a kid? That's what made him denounce his country in Vietnam?
Wowsers! I've got me some POWERS! Hooo-weeee! I'm gonna git me a lot'ry ticket TONIGHT!
Now, about those McSame Fambly Valyoooz: wanna explain why he let Ross Perot pay his first wife's medical bills? Or why he walked out on her once she weren't purty no more? Or did I cause that, too, wingnut?
For that matter, care to explain why 160 lobbyists run his campaign that doesn't have any lobbyists in it? While we're at it, for the sake of accuracy, Obama made the "states" gaffe once. McCreepy's repeated the "Czechoslovakia" goof three times in a year. Why IS that?
Since John Edwards' haircut was fair game, wanna explain McGrampy's thousand dollar shoes? Care to address why he couldn't remember what kind of car he drives? Of course you don't! IOKIYAR, huh? (Answer: McBush drives a 1902 Huppmobile)
These are all issues that the Repiglickin Party has told us are important. I've come to agree, and now I need some answers.
Posted by: Bob Kincaid | Aug 22, 2008 5:40:38 PM
Please quit bashing McCain! Everytime he gets upset we have to listen to his POW story again...and again...and again. Next time just tell us about the other 5 planes you crashed. Mix it up, geezer.

Geesh where is all this hate coming from? Just enjoy the scenery and let's be civil.
Posted by: Flander Annapolis | Aug 22, 2008 8:05:42 PM
The only way I’ll vote for Obama., I’ve said from day ONE (1) Biden/Obama 08 - well, we screwed that up., so a Obama/Biden 08 will have to do! PS. I’m an X-Marine (Semper FI) Republican - switching party lines if Biden is on the ticket, if not Go McCain…….
