Cindy McCain Travels to Georgia, Will Meet with Georgian President and Soliders
August 25, 2008 4:34 PM
ABC News’s Ron Claiborne and Bret Hovell Report: Cindy McCain, the wife of presumptive Republican nominee John McCain, is en route to the war torn country of Georgia Monday, where she is scheduled to meet with that country’s president, Mikhail Saakashvili, and injured Georgia troops.
McCain will travel with the World Food Program. But it’s a very quick trip – she’ll arrive back in the U.S. sometime tomorrow, according to the campaign.
John McCain made the announcement himself at a fundraiser in Sacramento, Calif.
Tonight, Cindy McCain’s counterpart, Michelle Obama, is scheduled to speak in Denver at the Democratic National Convention.

She can tell them not to shoot at the Russians again.

Maybe Cindy is Georgian? lol
Maybe Cindy McCaint will wind up as McCaint's VP? He could do worse.
How many American troops were killed in this latest AVOIDABLE McCaint-bush war in the Caucus?
The wild bush was hoping to stoke the fires in Georgia in order to give McCaint another failed foreign policy bounce.
However, bush-McCaint did not count on the stiff resolve of the Russians to defend their INNOCENT citizens, who were gunned down by Georgian thugs under the FULL SUPPORT of Bush-McCaint!
1. Bush has US troops in his Georgia experiment.
2. Bush has been giving military training and arms to the Georgians.
3. Bush KNEW or SHOULD HAVE KNOWN that Georgia's sinful Saakhasvili was going to point his distant big guns on INNOCENT Ossetians!
4. Hopefully the real truth about the AVOIDABLE Caucus McCaint-bush war will come to light soon enough!

Yes, Benedict Arnold once was called a "Patriot". Some here are just ordinary traitors - or undead communists.

LOL...OMG that is all we need. Cindy McCain dealing with our Military Issues. I think the other McCain has done enough damage.

I would take Cindy over Obama any day.
Read about his big mentor that he wrote about in his book!!!

The Georgia-Ossetia war WAS PLANNED all the way to the White House and McCaint's house!
Georgia and Saakhasvili are McCaint-bush's protege and puppet maser.
The Georgia-Ossetia-Russia war that killed and wounded so many was cynically planned to give McCaint's campaign a boost!

Patriot--I'm not sure they planned it. Extreme stupidity/incompetence has not yet been ruled out to my knowledge.

Looks like on the Republican side Cindy is more suited to lead than Chicken Sh John.
I bet John would scared to get near Putin's troops. By having access to his file, Putin likely knows John better than John knows himself.

I think John has chosen Oedipus as his running mate!!
A load of interesting stuff about John McCain from brother Joe.
1. It shows John's Oedipus Complex with Cindy mirroring the role his mother had when he was a boy.
2. Shows his family was Navy royalty with both father and grandfather being admirals.
3. Shows how out of touch the McCains are with average people -- Mom was managing the oil leases [my mom did that too LOL!] and John knows how Americans are because he serves on a committee.
4. Finally, brains don't flow on the male side as dad and grandpa finished near the bottom of their classes along with John.
“The person who took care of all the business was my mother,” he said. “My father had no idea about the family business, what oil leases he owned in Oklahoma.”
Joe McCain, who makes his home in Washington’s Northern Virginia suburbs, chuckled when recalling that “one time, [John McCain's mother] bought a house to remodel” in Southeast Washington while “[dad] was at sea.”
John McCain’s years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam and as chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee also help him “emphasize with the American people” on pocketbook issues, Joe McCain said.
John McCain was a less-than-stellar student who graduated fifth from the bottom of his class at the Naval Academy.
“By the way, that's a McCain tradition,” he said. “My father and grandfather, both four-star admirals, and they graduated in the bottom fourth of their class, too."

Cindy McCain would make a much better first lady than Michelle Obama. How one would think otherwise is shocking.

Trust me: When it comes to the wild bush-McCaint, "Extreme stupidity/incompetence" are the only kinds of 'plans' they are capable of putting forth in 8 years. lol

Good point!
McCaint will not reveal his Vietnam file to the American people; but the Russians DO have those POW files available to them!
Hopefully the Vietnamese/Russians will make McCaint POW files available. lol

Patriot,
Interesting to note that Biden was the strongest proponent of the Iraq War and the surge. And now he's on Obama's ticket. I guess Obama didn't think the Iraq War was that big of a blunder if he was willing to put the STRONGEST proponent of it in the Democratic Party on the ticket.

What a joke McCain is. Sends his wife to "Georgia" thinking she was going shopping in ATLANTA!
Hey McCain, just how many tapes DID you make while in captivity? The press is ignoring that part of it. Well,a lot of us Vets aren't!

Easy devildog. His wife is a classy lady with a lot of poise and serves causes way beyond what she could do. She has millions! She could sit by the pool and tan all day but she decides to travel to some of the worst places in the world to help the kids that would never get it any other way! She didn't start this cuz her husband was a candiddate, she did it because it was in her heart.
And Capt. McCain endured a warriors worst nightmare and came out the other side. What would you have done? Hindsight is 20/20, and I can hit you with this as I am a marine as well and fought in Iraq myself. I think John McCain is honorable and selfless, or he would have been released years earlier. His wife is a class act who, like all humans, made mistakes and redeemed herself. I'd be proud to see her represent our great nation as our first lady.

I KNOW THAT MCCAIN SAID WE ARE ALL GEORGIANS TODAY----DID YOU BELIEVE HIM REALLY---OR JUST LOOKING FOR A NEW HOUSE.

Patriot... are you really as stupid as you are making yourself look???
Georgia has an armed force numbering around 36,000 men, compared to Russia's 1.5million... You mean to tell me that Georgia seriously started attacking Russians and didn't expect retribution. Those "innocent Russians" were planted into Georgia during the Cold War to defuse political dissidents in Georgia: i.e, Georgian patriots who did not desire to suffer under Soviet tyranny.
Russia has been planning on taking back its nice little Southern province for a decade, this has nothing to do with Bush... When you wake up and have a zit on you face do you blame that on Bush too?
Posted by: Mark | Aug 25, 2008 11:24:20 PM
What qualifies Cindy McCain to go to Georgia? Is it because she founded an NGO from which she ultimately stole drugs? One account stated she is traveling to Georgia to assess casualties: you mean count?
I can't imagine having a First Lady that is a known thief, forger, liar, and drug addict.
Doesn't the US deserve better?

USMC 68071,
When did Cindy McCain redeem herself? When she lied about Mother Theresa? When she was less-than-forthcoming about her two sisters?
I think good investigative reporting would discover that anytime Cindy McCain speaks, only a portion of her comments are truthful - the balance is fabricated.
