DNC to Give Reporters McCain Convention 'Survival Kit'
August 27, 2008 7:06 PM
ABC News' Jennifer Parker reports: In advance of the Republican National Convention next week in Minneapolis-St. Paul, the Democratic National Convention is giving reporters in Denver a "survival kit."
ABC News has obtained the DNC's opposition kit. Inside an envelope labeled "DNC at the RNC: The McCain Files: A Survival Kit for Reporters," are press credentials to the Democratic Party's "More of the Same Media War Room" in St. Paul.
The packet also contains a flash drive with Democratic party "opposition research" against Republican nominee John McCain, as well as extra strength pain reliever, antacids, Pay Day and 100 Grand candy bars, and a button that reads "Ask me how many houses I own."
It also has a McCain-themed crossword puzzle "to help you prepare, and pass the time, on the flight," reads a press release from the Democratic National Convention. Clues include "income levels that meet McCain's definition of rich."
"While you're there, we'll make sure you have everything you need to cut through the convention spin," the DNC release reads.
On the flash drive is a black and white jpeg image of the John McCain--President George Bush embrace during the 2004 campaign, six web attack ads against McCain, Democratic "fact checks" on McCain statements, and a "What Republicans Are Saying About John McCain" document with criticisms that McCain lawmakers have made over the years.

Funny it was because there will be NO survival for MANY republicans in this elections of 2008. Starting with the Presidency on down to the state houses.
DEMOCRATS UNITED AND READY FOR THE KILL.

Very clever; the Obama campaign will not be shy or intimidated by the McCain campaign's Rovian negativity and attack dog's lashing out. U.S. history is in the making and John McCain and his old style political games will be taking a second place. They know this; the agressive attacks of Obama during the DNC convention is a glaring example of the desperateness and attempts for damage control.

Debra
You really need to get get your information right, because the columns arranged in the stadium are to replicate the columns at the White House. those are just the usual lies and the misinformation the GOP try to put out, and people like you believe them. I think they are "shaking in their boots" because McCain couldn't draw a crowd that big if they paid them too.

Debra - Yu are on the losing side. More and more Hilliary supporters are following her lead and are voting for Obama. If you are a true Hilliary supporter, you will never case your vote for someone that don't represent Hilliary ideas and have continue to attack Hilliary. Let go all your angry so you can move on. Don't let racist and hate destroy your heart.

they even have a modest version for the people who cling to guns and religion.
Debra that statement is the real truth. The last two weeks to angry white men cling to their guns and kill insane people and they where both white men. So, If I was McShame I would not be making fun of that message becasue that is just what have happen just two weeks ago. They both complain they lost their job and how fault if that McCain/Bush clan.

It's America that will need the survival kit if Obama is elected. But it doesn't need to be that way. There's still time. Americans have more resources available than some countries do. All we need are "people, places and events". Leave the rest to us. Here's a few to get everyone started:
Sidley Austin Law Firm, Arab Action Network, Ali Abunimah, Zulfan Adi, Saul Alinsky, Aiham Alsammarae, Rony Amir, Nadhmi Auchi, Myril Axelrod, David Axelrod, William Ayers, Black Muslims, Black Panther Party, Sekolah Dasar Negeri Besuki, David Brint, Chicago Annenberg Challenge, Cottage View Terrace Development Project-Chicago, Coalition Provisional Authority - Iraq, Stokely Carmichael, Abdelhamid Al Chaib, Noam Chomsky, Joseph Cirincionne, Eldridge Cleaver, James H. Cone, Davis Miner Barnhill & Galland, Frank Marshall Davis, Bernardine Dohrn, Frantz Fanon, Louis Farrakhan, Sam Graham-Felsen, Dwight N. Hopkins, Illinois Senate Bill 2165, Joyce Foundation, Jerry Kellerman, Rashid Khalidi, Mutual Bank of Harvey, Amrish Mahajan, Daniel Mahru, Robert Malley, Merrill "Tony" McPeak, Otis Moss III, Raila Odinga, Father Michael Pfleger, Alderman Toni Preckwinkle, Rezmar Real Estate Company, Antonin "Tony" Rezko, Josh Sugarmann, Woods Fund, Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Malcolm X, Ahmed Yousef
Each of the threads above crosses a single common point. You can follow each thread. You can find the point, and you can decide for yourself. Remember: Who you "hang with" IS important.

John McCain is stuck and is living by way of his POW experience of 40 years ago. Why else would he be seeking a "pity party" response by the voters. Also, this experience is not a qualification for Commander-In-Chief or being a chief executive. McCain, by his actions and statements, wants the POW experience to serve as an entitlement for the Presidency which does not and should not compute with the voters.
Additionally, another indicator of McCain being stuck in the past are his Cold War responses to National Security issues. The Cold War ended in 1990 and this is 2008, with new approaches available to resolve conflicts; the bogyman scare tactic is outmoded and unnecessary. Bush used it against Saddam to rally the American people to attack Iraq based on contrived justification and out right lies. John McCain offers a Bush III approach to National Security, a potential disaster in the making. No way!

Which plagiarism was worse? (1) When Biden plagiarized the British politician's speech back when he was running against Dukakis for the nomination, or (2) when Biden submitted a paper in law school that he didn't write.

"How many Hillary supporters who are now voting for McCain actually voted for Kerry?" - Well, you got one right here! I voted for Bush, then 4 years later I did for Kerry (for good reasons, of course). Why am I voting for McCain? I have good enough reasons! Think of it!
Posted by: tiger | Aug 27, 2008 8:48:11 PM
The only "Hillary Supporters" that are voting for McCain are part of the scam that was started by Rush Limpsomething on the radio. No true Hillary supporter finds McCain closer to her message than Obama. It's a stunt, a radio stunt by those self-proclaimed "good Americans"

"If you are Hillary supporter who is voting for McCain, then you aren't really a Hillary supporter." - Do you really think she 100% backs Obama and wants him to win? If you do, then you are an idiot!

it was when you copied and pasted your talking points.
