Durbin: 'McCain Has Had a 12-and-0 Run'

ABC News' David Chalian and Teddy Davis Report:

The co-chairman of Barack Obama's campaign said Monday that John McCain has been on a "12-and-0 run" leading up to the Democratic National Convention.

"He loves basketball, you know. And plays it -- still plays it --  much better than I ever did," said Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin (D), referring to Obama. "And we talked about the game today and we realized that over the last week, or ten days, that John McCain has had a 12-and-0 run here in this basketball game."

"But we know the momentum can shift," he added. "And it's going to shift, starting in Denver."

Durbin's description of McCain being on a "12-and-0 run" was a startling assertion from a campaign that has rarely acknowledged weaknesses. While Durbin was optimistic that momentum was about to return to Obama, his characterization of McCain being the candidate with momentum comes even after Obama's vice presidential roll-out and McCain's Politico interview in which he referred a question about how many houses he owns to his staff.

Durbin made his comments to reporters attending a breakfast sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor at the Brown Palace Hotel in Denver.

Obama grossly under-qualified to run the country and his fickle positions? So that makes him twice as qualified as Dubya!

Republican for Obama!

Obama is a Rookie and a big Flip-Flopper. I don't want a Rookie, Flip-Flopper as President.

William Ayers. Where are the University of Illinois-Chicago documents showing the working relationship between Obama and the domestic terrorist William Ayers?

Obama's mentor in Hawaii Franklin Davis was a Communist and had group sex with underage women. I know it sounds crazy, but look it up for yourselves.

The Olympics was only the latest evidence that America is not as strong as she used to be. A communist country effectively used their rising middle-class to put on the greatest show ever AND win the most gold medals. There were just too few Moms’s and Dad’s like Michael Phelp’s or Shawn Johnson’s who’s sacrifice was enough to propel their kids to the top. The rest were too distracted by mortgage failures, medical expenses, gas prices and educational budget-cuts, all problems that grew during two+ decades of rising corporate tax-cuts and profits.

This election is possibly the last chance to save the working middle-class and everything it does for this country. It is unbelievable that many voters are still voting based on identity politics..."my vote will only go to a 'woman' or 'war vet' or "someone more like me" Wake-up America. The election is not a popularity contest. It is your future.

Please pray that Mr. Obama and Mr. Biden are touched by the Holy Spirit and accept and promote the sanctity of life. With this, their other positions will be able to be examined; without this, they solely turn their heads to the mutilation of the unprotected in the womb

Wow! We love basketball too! Michelle Obama and Senator Ted Kennedy just made three point baskets and have closed the gap. Can Hillary Sink a three pointer tonight too ?

Found this online for Hillary and Bill. Obama all ready knows about basketball and has played with our Troops, NBA, College Stars and just fans like us.

How to Become a Better Shooter
The secret of all great shooters
You see great shooters, and I'm talking about the real pure shooters in the game, knocking down shots from all over the court. What is their secret?

Practice and repetition.

Good shooting isn't an accident, doesn't happen by mistake, and isn't the result of half-hearted or lazy practice habits. Really great shooting is the result of shooting thousands, or even tens of thousands of practice shots from all over the court. It is the result of practicing your shot day in and day out, and week after week so that you groove your form, and shooting the ball is second nature for you.

A great shot is the result of establishing muscle memory so that the shooting motion is nearly automatic, and you don't have to consiously think about your shot mechanics...you just shoot the ball with perfect form, just like you've practiced thousands and thousands of times before.

That is really the only way to get good and stay good: use good form, and practice it over, and over, and over again. Then practice it some more. Repetition is the key to grooving your shot during the off-season, and keeping it dialed in during the season.

bhrandom, you have been challanged by some of the folks posting here, I can't wait to hear you defend your position, your position is utterly absurd, but I love humor so let's hear more of your infinite wisdom. I have a picture of you in my head. The head of a jackass with your body attached. Hmmm that sounds strangly Democratic.

I love Hillary. Obama has the first important decision of his campaign and he blew it by not picking her. It was a slap in the face to 18million voters. He is not for change. He picked a very standard issue white guy for VP. wow. different. Barack just basically announced, "I don't care about women" when he didn't pick Hillary. I will never vote for him. At least McCain is a man of honor. Obama is a liar and a fake.
McCain in 2008 and Hillary in 2012!
