Hey Obama, Where's The Text?
August 22, 2008 9:35 PM
ABC News' Sunlen Miller Reports: As speculation swirls about his vice presidential pick, Sen. Barack Obama enjoyed dinner with the family including his wife, Michelle, and two daughters.
"Where's the text?" reporters shouted while holding out cell phones to get the presumptive Democratic nominee's attention as he walked into Roy's in downtown Chicago.
At first, Obama, D-Ill., acknowledge the press but after some louder shouts, he relented and looked over with a laugh. As he left, the intrepid band of reporters following Obama's every move tried again.
"How's Obama-Biden sound?" reporters yelled. "See ya guys!" Obama replied.
The candidate has since returned to the Park Hyatt hotel in Chicago where aides advise he will burn the midnight oil, preparing for his nomination acceptance speech next week at the Democratic National Convention.

Is this the kind of secrecy we can expect from an Obama White House?

DEMOCRATS FOR MCCAIN in 2008.
Hillary 2012.

No Hillary...No Problem!!!
Now, we know that the Obama campaign never considered her. They didn't even try to pretend like they were interested in having Hillary around. Thank goodness there will be neither a Bush nor a Clinton around the White House!!!!!

Obama is going to pardon Rezko and put him in charge of the sub prime mortgage crisis.
Posted by: al | Aug 22, 2008 10:40:02 PM
And, is Rezko still on the short list?
Posted by: Jayhawk | Aug 22, 2008 10:40:43 PM
HIllary will never be president.
There is a very strong anti-HIllary vote even among democrats. This time the anti-Hillary candidate was Obama; however, next time around it will be a white, southern MAN!!!His name? Mark Warner!!!
Every time she tries to run, which is not going to be that many times since she is 60 years old, the anti-Hillary candidate will be there, flushed with money to put her out.

Obama will lose...Vote for McCain our next President.

After 34 years as a Democrat, Obama provided the stimulus to for me to register as an "independent."
Now, there's change you can believe in.
Not even Reagan, Bush, or Baby Bush were bad enough to make me abandon the two party system.
As a whole, the Democrat leadership has driven more people from the party than any other single factor.
This year, my vote will be for...
Anybody But Obama...

Oh yea and then you got Connecticut's Senator Chris Dodd who did not know he was on Country Wide's VIP mortgage plan.
Even though he's chairman of the Senate banking Committe. Of course he supports the candiate of change.
Same olde bullshit.

Drawing loss from yet another potential victory...
The Democrat Party...
But, there may just be some hope...
After this election, the Democrat Party could go the way of the Whig Party...
Gone...and forgotten...

I was a Democrat for 24 years and because of the last two years of Anti-Lieberman rhetoric in Connecticut by the dumpjoe.com group I am voting for McCain Anybody but OBAMA.

think about it, there is no hope for Hillary to be president. First, she already realized how hard was to get the nomination, even against a black man. Next time it is going to be even worst against a white male, probable former Gov. Mark Warner. Second, if McCain is elected with a very democratic congress, so many things will get done that people are going to be happy with the presidency of McCain and his VP. Guess who is going to get all that glory? You guessed....McCain VP who will be running for President.
All in all, if you analize, this was Hillary's only chance, and she blew it. Too bad, so sad :-)!!!!
