Another Biden Surrogate Rips Palin
September 18, 2008 8:14 PM
ABC News' Matthew Jaffe Reports: For the third time in ten days, Democratic vice-presidential nominee Joe Biden was introduced by a surrogate with harsh words for the Delware Senator's Republican counterpart Sarah Palin.
"She says that she lives next door to Russia," Youngstown mayor Jay Williams said of the Alaska governor's foreign policy experience. "I mean, I don't think that that really counts. That would be the equivalent of me wanting to do your heart surgery because I live next door to a doctor."
Williams wasn't done, either, making some cracks about Palin's small-town home.
"I've never been to Wasilla, but I'm sure it's a nice little town," he said. "In fact it's so little we could invite them all to sit down in the Chevrolet Centre and probably still have room left over."
In fact, Williams might even like to trade his current mayor post for Palin's former gig.
"I would love to be the mayor of Wasilla. I could probably do it from my home," he boasted.
On Monday in Flat Rock, Michigan, Barbara Theaker, a local Obama-Biden supporter, called Sarah Palin "a bucket of fluff". Last Tuesday in St. Louis, Missouri Rep. Russ Carnahan said of Palin, "There's no way you can dress up that record, even with a lot of lipstick."
For the record, the Chevrolet Centre seats as many as 7,000. The population of Wasilla?, 7,028, per the city website.

PALIN IS A CROOK. SHE CAN'T EVEN HIDE BEHIND THE 'POW' EXCUSE.
Oh wait, I stand corrected.
PERJUROR OF WASILLA
CROOK.

The Dem No More could have encountered victims of a recent disaster or hurricane. They are all over the country and not necessarily in known disaster areas. Yes, those vouchers cover diapers, food, clothing, medicine, and whatever. I have noticed people seething at these victims before not even considering that most of these people were just like Dem No More before the disaster struck.

If I were the mayor of Youngstown, Ohio with record unenployment, empty store fronts up and down the downtown area, high crime and low expectations. I don't think I would be boasting about much. It does show the kind of leadership Obama would bring though.

I have lived in Wasilla back in the late 90's. Yes it is a small town with a Super Wal-Mart, about twice as many people living just out side of the Corp. limits than in it, but taken care of by Wasilla. Also do not forget she is still the Governor of the State, much better than a senator who has only been actually at work for about 150 days (the rest of his time was trying to become the most powerful person in the world) and nothing else really in his resume.
For the life of me, I can not see why people question her qualifications but think he is so great. Oh yea he can read a great speech, that must be what the presidency is about...NOT!

I'm a black guy who used to be very excioted about Obama, but he has turned me off the last few weeks with his venom against Palin. POSTED BY CHUDI
****************************************
Please fill us in. I listen to nearly every single one of Obama's speaches and interviews and have not heard him even mention Palin.
Can you give us something specific. And the email hacker...if you are trying to blame that on the Obama campaign, then that is just plain paranoid.
John McCain has sold Sarah Palin to us as somebody who is tough like a pit bull that takes on the corruption of the good ole boys. But the real story seems to be that she is extremely weak and fragile and can't take criticism or eeven questions. And for some reason these 2 Republicon politicians think that she is a victim and they should be treated with "deference". Deference is how you treat the Pope or the QUeen. Who do they think they are?

I'm sure you could fit all the people Obama helped as a "community organizer" in a $100,000 gazebo.

These left wing dirt bags wouldn't recognize class or competence if it jumped up and bit them in the backside. They're scared to death and are reacting like cornered rattlesnakes. Just let them continue to vomit their vile garbage, no one that matters believe anything they say . . . they’re only preaching to their Kool Aid drinking buddies.

Sneering about Gov. Palin's prior experience points out that Sen. Obama hasn't got any executive experience at all (small leagues or big).

******************************************* Hello, this article is about Sarah Palin. It has nothing to do with Senator Obama.

I like the fact that Palin is doing so well - and a measure of that is that so many people are yelling about her. The reason as a democrat that I like Palin doing so well is it pokes a big hole in the elitists balloon. What does it really take to be a good president? A level head is probably in the top 5 on that list. Palin seems to have that.
I love the idea that people like Wolfe Blitzer are all in a fuss about it. He and Charles Gibson think of themselves as the elite and they have done nothing for society.

oh unseen, I'm so sick of the lies from this joke of a campaign.
The NAFTA issue with Canada was created against Senator Obama. It wasn't Senator Obama that winked and nodded, but actually the Clintons. The canadians slyly let that slip out with not one more news cycle after the truth oozed out. A few in the Canadian government were trying to help Clinton...again, since Barack Obama is such a 'different' candidate. At the time, that 'different' candidate was winning.
Actually the dishonorable and lying republicans are not ready to lead. McCain has no 'executive' experience and Sarah Palin has NO experience...executive, foreign, or otherwise. She doesn't have the intellect, the education, the knowledge to even be a Governor. So it appears, the platform she ran on was typical republican...lie to get there, but truly have no clue...they just want to be in office.
With the economy tanking, foreign countries turning against us...we need INTELLECT, EDUCATION, INTELLIGENCE, KNOWLEDGE, JUDGMENT, TEMPERMENT to run this country. The inexperienced republicans will continue to run this country into the ground.

ed from mASS,
How is Barney working out? You know, Barney who swore up and down that freddie and fannie were just fine? You know, Barney who fought tooth and nail to prevent any oversight of freddie and fannie? Maybe you want to consult with Charlie from NY the next time you do your taxes? Maybe Barry and his staff will give you some of the millions they stole when Frank Raines was cooking the books.
ed from mASS the only liar here is you.

Do the Dem/Lib posters think that by calling John McCain "McBush" "McSame" "McLame" is really going to convince any Independent that McCain is Bush?
Anyone who has read a paper or watched the news for the past 8 years knows that is a laugh. No other politician has continually crossed over to work with the other party on a multitude of issues over the years.
But please, keep it up. It reeks of desperation.

Hey Truth, this article is about the Obama campaign attacking Sarah Palin. The buck stops with Obama.

the democrat mayors are such failures, look at detroit, and murder capital USA chicago. in these cities the mafia, and the democrats, work hand in glove, to keep people poor, and enrich themselves.

Governor Palin is the rubber-glue candidate. Whatever you say about her, it bouces off her and sticks to Obama. It was a brilliant choice, and Mr. Changechangechangychange is having a hard time. He no longer spouts that he is change you can believe in .. cuz ya can't. Now he just needs your change, hence the slogan: Change we need.

These sad excuses for neoconservatives are doing backflips and turning themselves inside out trying to think of the new lie that will make America support that poor deluded ex-POW and his empty headed minx. She's a zero and he's no hero.
They can't even come up with a decent candidate who can remember his last lie. Ask his wife to crack open a Bud and pour it down his dry throat; maybe he makes more sense when he gets drunk.
Posted by: kilobeast | Sep 18, 2008 9:36:33 PM
Kilobeast, you just keep telling yourself that. Is that when you make the most sense - when you are drunk? You might want to go crack open a can of brew yourself.

Ed from MA, you pathetic little Nancy-Boy. Palin is twice the man you are, and McCain craps bigger'n you.
You and the rest of your racist, sissy little Democrat friends aren't fit to launder his socks and her pantyhose. I can't wait to listen to your howls and whining on November 5th, when your know-nothing, done-nothing Messiah gets sent back to the Senate to grovel in his bean soup.
Posted by: Jaibones | Sep 18, 2008 9:39:15 PM
Keep dreaming, Kitty. There's an awful lot of "stuff" sticking to her already.
HIDING FROM THE PRESS.
HIDING FROM TROOPERGATE.
McCAIN MAY BE A POW, BUT PALIN IS MIA.
