Bill and Barack Reserve Table for Two
September 07, 2008 3:59 PM
ABC's Kate Snow Reports: Former President Bill Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama will have a private lunch together in New York City on the anniversary of Sept. 11, according to Clinton Foundation spokesman Matt McKenna.
McKenna says Clinton knew Obama would be coming to town to recognize the anniversary with a joint appearance with Sen. John McCain scheduled at Ground Zero. Clinton invited the Democratic candidate to lunch.
Although Clinton has said he will campaign on behalf of Obama, there are no campaign events or public appearances scheduled for the two men as yet.

irma,
It just wasn't the media, it was the Obama camp playing the race card as a way to alienate Black voters from Hillary, so the messiah could win the votes. He's one of the most divisive politicians I've ever seen. His run for the WH has actually caused a wider rift in race relations than we've ever had in this country, helping to put us back many years.

It's funny how all the Obama fanatics like the Clinton's now.

Only republican mouthpieces would state that Obama as president would hurt race relations....
That is the republican way... repeat something stupid enough times until people start to believe it.
Please God, help this country turn course... we need new leadership, not four more years of the same discredited policies!

Obama asserted in a Colorado Springs speech that the U.S. needs a “civilian national security force” that would be as powerful, strong and well-funded as the half-trillion dollar Army, Marines, Navy and Air Force. In the July 2 speech in Colorado Springs, Obama insisted the U.S. “cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set.”He continued, “We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”"Big Brother had nothing on the Obamas,” said IBD. “They plan to herd American youth into government-funded re-education camps where they’ll be brainwashed into thinking America is a racist, oppressive place in need of ’social change.’

"Never" - how blind are you? "....has actually caused a wider rift in race relations than we've ever had in this country, helping to put us back many years."
Really - Really - you think so......
"The most divisive politiciam ever seen?" Really?
How come he has brought together his base, with an amazing opponent (HRC) and reached out to Independents and Republicans (with a mind)???

This is the ugly truth about McCain -- but said in an entertaining way.

KB,
It's called PANIC! Messiah doesn't know what to do now that he's no longer "America's Idol", so he has to run to the Clintons to find out what to do. He's such a joke! Bill needs to send him packing and I sure hope he doesn't waste his time campaigning for this FAKE.

Lol - misspelled "your."
Lame comeback, as expected of a true Obamabot. :D
No cookie for you!
Now, go wipe that kool-aid stain from around your mouth.

HP Boston, hate to tell you but
America is a racist, oppressive place in need of ’social change.
IT IS TIME FOR CHANGE

The most divisive politician ever seen is probably our current president -- and to think that he ran his 2000 campaign as "uniter not divider".

LeeLee - If you are going to quote Susan B Anthony you should do so to make you case not diminish it. Why would any self respecting woman vote for a republican? - They don't even think you can make a personal choice by yourself. They put up the most anti-woman VP pick they could find in place of a true Woman's rights advocate (Hillary)

NeverObama, I know that, believe me. He took advantage of the media's attempt to lift him to the clouds, using Republican rhetoric ie (She's divisive, Old Washington Politics) when all along SHE was pushing forth an economic energy plan, promoting JOBS and global awareness, which is where BOBBY KENNEDY JR. was one of her major supporters. All that was lost among the rhetoric. I know and I remember. However, a lot of people weren't aware of how the manipulation was there. I also believed that the very media that built him up, would pull that rug out from under him. Instead, Republican strategy beat us out once again. Not that I was surprised, since Obama sold out to the media and CLINTON haters. Nevertheless, I want to see where the meeting takes us Clinton Democrats. I know the Clintons, good politicians and Democrats that they are, won't diss the very party that dissed them. Hopefully, now that Obama is aware of his mistake, which I feel he also needs to subtly acknowledge at some point with the Clintons, in public; things could turn this INCREDIBLY HISTORICAL, SURPRISE AT EVERY TURN RACE, around ONE MORE TIME! Can you imagine? I hope this isn't another tease from Obama.

And Mccain is using W's old tricks... sure he will unite us??? With Palin? How does he plan to make that happen, the guy has no clue.
Posted by: Chipo1965 | Sep 7, 2008 5:10:14 PM
You know, if McCain really was truthful about wanting to reach across the aisle, he would have taken Hillary as a VP. Wouldnt' that have been interesting. THEN i might have voted for him. Palin may have two X chromisomes, but she is not remotely an advocate for women.

I bet you Obamabots wish I (and many others) would shut up. LMAO!!!
Unfortunately for you Bots, I was not put on this earth to please you.
Palin is more than a distraction - you Obamabots can't shut up about her, you know she is more than qualified than your Messiah and so does the rest of America. :D
You don’t need to be bitter or angry or lash out at others about it. You just need to “get over it.”

Chipo1965,
"How come he has brought together his base, with an amazing opponent (HRC) and reached out to Independents and Republicans (with a mind)???"
What world are you living in? If you really believe he's brought together his base, do we have a surprise for you in November! BTW, I'm not a Republican - just a smart EX-Democrat, now registered IND, who is tired of losing every presidential election since Bill Clinton. Backing the winning team this year.
