Obama, McCain to Visit Ground Zero Together on 9/11
September 06, 2008 12:52 PM
ABC News' Sunlen Miller reports: Senator Obama and Senator McCain on 9/11 will make a stop together to Ground Zero in New York City to commemorate the day.
"All of us came together on 9/11 - not as Democrats or Republicans – but as Americans," said a joint statement issued by both Senator's campaigns, "In smoke-filled corridors and on the steps of the Capitol; at blood banks and at vigils - we were united as one American family. On Thursday, we will put aside politics and come together to renew that unity, to honor the memory of each and every American who died, and to grieve with the families and friends who lost loved ones."
Both campaigns have already said that they will pull negative ads off the air-waves for the day.
The Senators are both scheduled to appear later that evening at the "ServiceNation Presidential Candidate Forum" at Columbia University.
The joint appearances on 9/11 marks only the second time during the general election that the candidates have appeared together.

No negative ads! So we won't have to hear from the doddering old twit for a whole day? Thank god.

We will see..........

Oh, wouldn't it be nice if the bloggers could also refrain from the negative, at least on that day. Except for the first comment here today by Lying Liars it seems that we are trying to be positive. We know it's not impossible to be nice and I truly saw that in drivers' attitudes in the days after 9/11, it was almost a pleasure to drive on the roadways.

12,000 American flags were thrown in the trash by the obama campaign and the democrat party, at their conventions ending. Today in Colorado Springs Boy Scouts who rescued these flags will present them to John McCain.
This "Throw Away America" by Obama, the dailykos kiddies, and the rest of the democrat party is indictive of their plans for America.. The I hate America change they are bringing is disgusting, The Democrats have now shown they truly hate the Military and all this country and this flag Stands for. Now If Abc Censors delete this, then they too will concur with this message of hatred and disposing of our great flag adn what America stands for This Vietnam Veteran, is sickened by the democratic party and its disgusting disposal of the american flag

It's like Christmas in September - peace in America, the lion laying down with the lamb, Dems and Reps united as one people..."Why can't it be Christmas every day?"

This is a nice, respectful idea of coming together. However, there is only one thing wrong with the statement put out by both camps, its states, "...to honor each and every American who died...". They forget that it was not only American citizens that lost their lives that day. My buddy's friend was British and lost his life as an innocent passenger aboard United Flight #175. Change that statement to read, "Citizens and non-citizens". Thanks.

I was about to salute both of them on this board until...
I saw the 12,000 miniature American flags LEFT BEHIND by Obama after his acceptance speech in Denver, CO. newsflash.
SHAME... SHAME ... SHAME...
Boy Scouts are the ones having to recover them with 84 trash bags. McCain have the decency to use them for his rally in CO.

Senator McCain is a sincere, caring candidate. Bet he made the first move and Senator Obama had to follow.
My hubby, a Viet Nam vet is thoroughly disgusted with the Obama campaign.
Posted by: Mai | Sep 6, 2008 1:57:12 PM
Yep, leave it to the republicans to create distraction and blow crap out of proportion to make a point. A point that doesn't help americans find jobs, a point that doesn't help these americans remain in their homes, a point that doesn't help those without healthcare.
See how easy it is to blame Obama for all the ills of the country. He's not even in charge but he somehow has the power to control what everyone does.
Republicans are totally disingenous.
Remain focused on the issues that affect all americans, not on a piece of cloth probably made in Taiwan.
Posted by: bc46 | Sep 6, 2008 1:57:52 PM
Did BO learn nothing from the "cone of silence" q&a??? McCain't got the biggest "bump" and since the polls for either of these two is a lot closer than it should be.
Just keep allowing the Republican party the rights to your day planner and eventually they will be running your campaign...right into the ground.
Posted by: foxisms | Sep 6, 2008 1:58:03 PM
Country First, you're really reaching there. One could argue that the thousands and thousands of balloons the Mccain camp used at the end of his speech are harmful to the environment, so Mccain hates the environment.
Posted by: SearamblerOne | Sep 6, 2008 1:58:11 PM
It is being reported BO's denver thing discarded American Flags in the "trash". Boys Scouts have these and will bring to John McCain's rally in Colorado Springs. BO has disssed Small-Town America, his wife was not proud of America until a few months ago, and now he and supporters are throwing our American flags into the trash. What is wrong with this guy? We must learn now his reasons for doing this, before the election.

J Michael says, "McCain's Choice Won't Fool Women."
I say, "The Attacks on Palin and on Women's Intelligence Won't Fool This Yale-Educated Woman!" I will vote for McCain/Palin in 2008 and enjoy the Sarah Palin vs. Hillary Clinton presidential race in 2012.
Posted by: Michelle | Sep 6, 2008 2:05:08 PM
Right benvictor, now the flags being discarded are being blamed on Obama?
Your question what is wrong this guy? Why do you attribute all negatives to Senator Obama? Why is that so easy for you, especially after the eight, fruitful years in this country?
Can you find something concrete to discuss or just continue with lies and innuendo?
How about we talk about how qualified McCain's vp pick is, lets talk about that!
Lets talk about how it took her 6 yrs and 6 different schools to complete a 4 yr degree in journalism with a minor in sportscasting, and the republicans want to place her as #2 in this country. Let's talk about THAT.
Lets talk about how the republicans want to put someone in control that has no knowledge, no education, and no experience on foreign policy. Lets talk about something that truly matters. Not a piece of cloth.

The people who helped the most to shape New York after 9/11 were community organisers yet John Mccain continue to thrash them. What is John Mccain going to say on that day, that he believes in community service? He does not realise it that there are other ways of serving your country without joining the Military. He is really out of touch. When I look at community service, I look at the Hispanics, some of them without documentation but yet for the sake of other Hispanics, they go around, knocking on doors, asking for their problems and essentially helping to serve problems. Our Lord was a community organiser, MLK was a community organiser. It is a work to be proud of JOHN MCCAIN.

Yeah, the Obama campaign won't be "officially" trying to smear but his leftist bloggers won't let up. They are here to do the dirty work. The trashing of the flags in Denver is really no surprise. Heck, Obama wouldn't wear a flag on his lapel, remember? He's a socialist educated man from Hawaii(Frank Marshall Davis, his mentor) He's best friends with William Ayers whose never apologized for attacking the Pentagon. Obama regularlly worshipped at the church that BLAMED AMERICA FOR 9/11! Are we to ACTUALLY BELIEVE this man? PLEASE spare the theatrics! He should just STAY HOME!
Posted by: justrighttoo | Sep 6, 2008 2:14:01 PM
Right JR, we'll hear about Palin's kid going to Iraq, but not Joe Biden's kid going to Iraq.
Now they have this twit talking with surge talking points.
They are attempting to co-opt the change theme, no original ideas of their own. The same derogatory crap.
Posted by: bc46 | Sep 6, 2008 2:15:31 PM
A few people here seem to think Obama was the cleanup crew and personally threw out flags with the litter. Did McCain personally cleanup his convention, I bet they threw out flags too.

And the DUMBER ONE's....
Posted by: P-51 jock | Sep 6, 2008 2:19:40 PM
They're terrified of the issues (economy, war, health care, etc) because they have nothing to offer other than 4 more years of Bush, plus Palin working to get creationism taught in public schools.
Posted by: JR | Sep 6, 2008 2:19:59 PM
No justrighttoo, YOU should stay home. Don't even go vote, because you're voting for a farce. Your candidate, the same one that was not chosen in 2000 because Karl Rove and his minions destroyed his campaign with lies and innuendo, have hired the same guy that belittled him and his family, to do the same thing to Senator Obama.
Now I understand the change the republicans are talking about. You guys have zero credibility, you can't be trusted to do whats right for this country. We see that in the pick of Palin.
If the democrats would have selected someone with the credentials of Sarah Palin they would STILL be screaming about how unqualified they are.
People are sick of the republican hypocrisy. Wasn't it bill-o that called the Spears parents pinheads because the young is pregnant? But somehow now praise the Palin's in the same situation?
We are disgusted with the republican hypocrisy.
Posted by: bc46 | Sep 6, 2008 2:23:36 PM
McCain has already proven his willingness to shill for the cover-up of the 9/11 false-flag atrocity by writing the forward to the thoroughly demolished Popular Mechanics propaganda book.
9/11 is the gift that keeps on giving for the war profiteers and warmongers like McCain.
How about you, Obama? Are you OK with misprision of treason, too?
Posted by: wtcbrother | Sep 6, 2008 2:26:36 PM
Vuzous - Actually Community Organizers are paid by Unions to go into a community to benefit their causes. Please, spare us. Most volunteers are religious organizations who do the best work after a disaster. Obama was a member of ACORN who was charged with Voter Fraud.
Bc46, Actually, Palin's major was jounalism but her minor was in Political Science. What was your degree in? Many people change schools, are you dissing them too? Now LET'S talk about someone with experience. Ummm, Palin was a city council member, a mayor, a oil and gas commission member, and a governor. She's closer to Russia than any State Governor last time I checked. Now, let's turn to Obama with ties to the Communist Party, he got his lawyer friends to get everyone off the balot so he would win and voted "present" on anything important. He's only spent 143 days as U.S Senator while he got his republican oponents' divorce papers unsealed during the election. He never once held a meeting as Chariman of his subcommitte or ever visited Afgahnistan (until this summer for photo ops). What foreign policy experience does he have? Has he ever run a business? Has he ever been in charge of billions of dollars? Has he ever been Commander-in-Chief of a National Guard? Has he ever had to deal with a natural emergency? No, but Palin has.
Oh, and I am proud of my country.
Posted by: justrighttoo | Sep 6, 2008 2:28:03 PM
Her minor was in sportscasting, NOT political science.
justrighttoo, you are spouting the same lies and talking points from the republicans. Try seeking the TRUTH, not bs stories.
I have a business degree, justrighttoo. I'm not qualified to be #2 in this country, and neither is she. She's not even qualified to teach a class, give me a break.
She's closer to Russia? That gives her foreign policy experience?? You guys must be high on meth.
When it comes to Senator Obama, where is your proof? Stop using lies and talking points, provide proof of your bs.
We refuse to let you turn this country into a theocracy with Sarah Palin.
Posted by: bc46 | Sep 6, 2008 2:34:14 PM
Your talking points about Palin are nothing but lies. Your talking points about Obama are nothing but lies.
I'm IN the National Guard and I know she does not command them. She has nothing to do with the military. Do some research, my friend.
Executive and Legislative branches are equal, one does not trump the other. Their experiences are different, and Senator Obama with his degree in political science, his law degree, and professor of constitutional law has much more in the way of experience, knowledge AND education.
Someone needs to call this twit on her lies.
Posted by: bc46 | Sep 6, 2008 2:42:44 PM
Bc46 - Well, if YOU do want to bring up voting. Actually, no one has the right to vote in a presidential election. The democrats play on uneducated people so they can have power over them. Must hurt when you hear the truth. Last time I checked, Rove doesn't work for McCain. Try getting your talking points other than the Daily Kos. Talk about hypocracy! The Democratic party threw Hillary under the bus for their savior! They preach about women being in power and yet when Palin comes in, she's FIRST attacked about being a bad mom. PLEASEEE! The Democrats talk about supporting the troops, yet they demean them by saying they weren't smart enough to get into college OR not voting for more funding! You guys kill me for your narrowmindedness! The left talks about being independant of oil and yet FAIL to vote on drilling here but go on a 5 week vacation? Please! Spare us the lies. The democrats have talked about the huge deficits, but won't sign their names to pork spending on bills! Even THEY wanted a bigger budget than George Bush! PLEASE SPARE THE HYPOCRACY! It was former Pres. Carter for our problems in the mid-East. It was Clinton who allowed our country to be attacked by al Queda 5 times which brought on 9/11. He was the one was offered Bin Laden and didn't WANT HIM! PLEASE! I can't in all good concience vote for Obama whose mentor was Frank Marshall Davis, the Communist and later moved to Chicago to run a business with fellow communist and terrorist William Ayers! I can't vote for someone who was endorsed by the Socialists of America. If I wanted to live in a universal healtcare socialist society, then I'd move to Cuba or China.
Posted by: justrighttoo | Sep 6, 2008 2:45:25 PM
lol see justwrongtoo, you spout nothing but lies.
Karl Rove DOES TOO work for McCains campaign.
The republicans are the ones that count on low information voters and racist voters to win elections. They have proven it time after time. They continue to belittle and attack, instead of talking about issues. They are concerned about tearing down anyone that challenges their bs, all just to stay in power, so they can continue to line their pockets while folks struggle to feed their families.
Your lies are overwhelming. Now 9/11 is Clintons fault? You guys are totally disgusting. 9/11 happened 9 months after curious george took office. We went to war on a lie, people have died based on your republican lies. You attacked Iraq for oil, even Ms Palin said so, before she was tapped for vp. The same little hockeymom spewing lies now, was the same hockeymom that was excited that Obama was overtaking McCain in Alaska, again, before she was tapped to tell lies for the GOP.
We are going to do our best to stop your bs. This country can't take anymore of your failures.
Posted by: bc46 | Sep 6, 2008 2:51:34 PM
Your guilty by association is just as disingenuous as your little hockeymom is. You know, the one under investigation, she'll fit right in with the dishonest republicans.
AGAIN, Sarah Palin is not qualified to be Vice President of this country.
You talk about Senator Obama's experience as a legislator, remember, John McSame is a legislator too. The same bs qualification arguments Karl Rove used against him in 2000 against Bush. Bush was somehow more qualified because he was a Governor. Look what the qualified Governor has done for this country.
Posted by: bc46 | Sep 6, 2008 2:55:44 PM
Isn't it funny that the republicans have had control of the government for 8 yrs, but they NOW, NOW, want to talk about drilling for oil.
Nothing but a huge lot of liars.
Posted by: bc46 | Sep 6, 2008 2:59:31 PM
bc46 - If you're actually in the National Guard, then you need to go back to basics. The Governor of a state IS the Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard. So if Obama has a law degree and a teachers degree why does he keep saying "uhhh and ummm" all the time? According to the University of Idaho, they HAVE her down as recieving a Bachelors of Science in journalism and a minor in Political Science. She did get a scholarship when she first went to Hawaii Pacific College. Now when it comes to Obama, just LOOK AT HIS BOOK!!!! IT'S IN THERE! DON'T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT. YOU'VE BEEN DUPPED BY YOUR MESSIAH! He's a communist and a proud one at that. As fellow professor Gerald Horne, a History professor at the University of Houston, gladly mentioned Obama in his article in the Communist journal "Political Affairs". Quote, "Frank Davis, befriended a Euro-American family" that had migrated to Honolulu from Kansas and a young woman from this family eventually had a child with a young student from Kenya East Africa who goes by the name of Barak Obama, who retracing the steps of Davis eventually decamped to Chicago." I know that it's a let down for you to believe that your guy is a Communist. Sorry.
Posted by: justrighttoo | Sep 6, 2008 3:07:12 PM
I was a republican once. In 2000, Bush convinced me he had would be a uniter and bring the parties together. Boy that really worked. Now, I've lost my job, I have too many friends off in Iraq getting shot at, I know too many people who are going to lose their houses, and I blame Bush and his croneys for all of it. I want to get this country as far far far as possible away from the policies of the last eight disasterous years.
McCain votes 90% with Bush. That's 90% too much. Not only that, he's bragged about it. Now he says hes the real candidate for change. That's one lie I won't believe.
Another republican for Obama.
Posted by: former rep | Sep 6, 2008 3:07:58 PM
justrighttoo, guess you must be really ignorant. Are all republicans ignorant? Who tells you that all community organisers are paid by unions. Go and do your research. The envagelicals that organise are they paid by the church? You think the Hispanics that go around are being paid. I guess you dont really know what community service is? After hurricane katrina, people that volunteered to house people were they paid. Go and read your books and be useful with your computer.
Posted by: vuzous | Sep 6, 2008 3:12:02 PM
...and if we hadn't pulled Saddam Hussein out of the picture, bc and friends would be blogging that we continue to play cat & mouse with a dangerous dictator because Bush and Saddam are both 'oil men'. Governor Clinton had a lot more to do with 9/11 - in the sense that he cut off the communications between the FBI, the DIAs, and the CIA...the CIA was a bad thing during the 90's dontcha know. I don't get how somebody who's main claim to fame is voting 'Present' 130 times qualifies a person more than being Governor....but the Liberals make their own rules to fit the occasion. That said, this is a classy move on the part of both candidates.
Posted by: proudofusa | Sep 6, 2008 3:12:34 PM
Justrighttoo...
The problem with your type is that you KNOW that you are speaking complete lies, but you do it anyway.
There are plenty of arguments to be made that are differences of policy that don't degenerate into simply name calling.
Why don't you argue on the issue.
You want to vote for McCain, because he is pro life, and obama is pro choice. A clear difference of policy.
You want to vote for McCain because you like his proposed tax policy better (if you are very rich, you will be treated better under the McCain policy...go look them up and find out what they are.).
So many people just say "He's a communist, or He's a liar" or whatever. It is so pointless...
Posted by: justwrong | Sep 6, 2008 3:16:18 PM
Bc46, yes just to remind you that it WAS Clinton who was offered Bin Laden from Sudan. He said QUOTE, "I don't want to handle that hot potato!". He later allowed the U.S.S. Cole to be bombed. Isn't it facisnating that Sandy Bergler stuffed confidential papers in his pockets and pants and under a construction trailer before his testimony before the 9/11 commission? You Must have been out to lunch that day. Oh, and if you STILL don't believe Obama is a communist. Dr. Kathryn Takara, a professor of Interdisciplinary Studie at the University of Hawaii@ Manoa also confirms that Frank Davis is the "Frank" in Obama's book. She did her dissertation on Davis and spent much time with him between 1972 to 1987 when he passed. Boo hoo! In Obama's book he says, " Frank" had "some modest notoriety once' and a "contemporary of Richard wright and Langton Hughes during his years in Chicago." Obama also says that "Frank and his old Black Power dashiki self" before he did leave for Occidental College in 1979. Should I even mention that Biden withdrew his 1988 Presidential campaign for plagiarism. Ohhh, don't want to bring THAT up, do we? Community organizer to a sitting governor? Right.
Posted by: justrighttoo | Sep 6, 2008 3:19:31 PM
Whether Obama wins or not, I think we can be grateful that he has brought a new civility to American politics. The partisanship is still there, but there's a new consciousness about trying to be decent human beings. I believe that is a contribution that he has made.

LOL Obama liked earmarks before he hated them, earmarks like getting his wife's work millions of dollars in grants or his friend Rezkio 13 million for one of his 'projects' his other friends nuclear plant millions in subsidies, last year alone he took over 300 hundred million dollars for his friends back in Chicago and now he's running on cleaning up earmarks, keep talking you empty suit. Instead of getting rid of a jet Obama would have added a fleet and each one would bare his name the big 0, for being a big zero.
Posted by: frank | Sep 6, 2008 3:39:41 PM
Obama didn't know they were throwing those flags away! If he did then he, Michelle, Rev.Wright, Rezko, Ayers, and the rest of his friends and associates would have been wiping their arses with them!
Posted by: Ed | Sep 6, 2008 3:41:37 PM
Vuzous, many hispanics are here illegally and need to go home. They are courted by Democrats to get their votes. Obama was a member of ACORN and they WERE charged with Voter Fraud! Many communities after Katrina were Vietnamese and their CATHOLIC church memebers got the neighborhoods up months before anyone else. Sorry to burst your bubble. The Democrat Mayor in that city failed terribly by not getting anyone out and the democratic Governor turned DOWN Pres. Bush when he offered to help after Katrina. Please educated yourself. Justwrong - I guess that you ARE AFRAID of the truth. Republicans are made up of the middle class and the Democrats are the elitists in this country. It's a fact, Republicans give more to charity than Democrats. Democrats in Congress take their kids to private schools and deny poor children vouchers to acquire the same education. Barak Obama voted for the highes tax hike in American history. This affects people who earn down to $42,000.I guess YOU don't like stubborn facts. He says he wants to cut small busineses capital gains taxes. Only one small problem....they don't pay them! Small businesses file individually (duh) and they represent over 70% of businesses in America. So when Obama says he's ONLY going to tax those with incomes of over $250,000. He's actually taxing those businesses. Yes, the liberal lies do come out. If you don't believe that Obama is a communist, fine, just read his book. FACT Check: When the Democrat from Texas wanted to install a income tax, Theodore Roosevelt wouldn't sign it into law because it was uncontitutional. So, the typical liberal mindset was to go around that. He told all his fellow congresemen that it "only affected the super rich in the northeast". I've heard that before. And now we have the 16th Amendment. With the help of Donald Duck during the next Roosevelt administration, we have withholding. And with the Johnson administration, we have the "great society speech" which has cost the taxpayers millions, namely medicare and medicaid. Somehow, when you liberals compare spending to Bush, he can't even come close! Sorry, but McCain wants you to keep more of your money since you did earn it, right? Or do you think it's the governments? McCain wants you to keep your social security that you worked so hard to earn but Obama wants the government to keep it. Do you think that if you die, the governemtn should keep the remainder? Get real.

Ed, great post, seems that the Obama supporters are afraid of looking at Obama's past and his record. That's why they gone to criticizing Palin's hairdo.
They are sooo eager to scrutinize Palin's record but FAIL to notice that Obama got his wife a huge raise and did many favors for his friends. These people on the left make me sick.

I think Obama should bring his long time political allie Bill Ayers with him on 9/11. He will probably be the only one there with actual experience of bombing America.
McCain / Palin should of course bring Giuliani. He has the greatest horse laugh when someone suggests that being a "community organizer" like Obama is equivalent experience to being a Mayor like Palin.

ragnar30066: "when someone suggests that being a "community organizer" like Obama is equivalent experience to being a Mayor like Palin."
Except that nobody has ever suggested that.

Yesterday CNN made a case of Palin misrepresenting facts because she said the executive plane was "put on eBay", but in fact after two tries on eBay were sold through an agent.
Obama likes to talk about relatives he doesn't know, to connect with a military record. He dreamed an uncle who liberated Auswitch, even though it's a historic fact Russians did.
Obama hasn't got a military bone in his body, to put Obama as commander in chief would be an unbelievable gamble.
9/11 is no place for Obama, and there's gaffes that are media created, and there is lies. Obama should stay at home.

These are the facts how I see it! Our brave men and women do not wish to be bogged down in a war we should have never started with IRAQ! No matter how you Republicans try to spin this war into a patriotic experience, it is not! Bush and McCain have no business blowing up families just like yours and mine just because Bush and McCain cant admit they were wrong. There is nothing PATRIOIC about killing people that did nothing to us. Our soldiers care about what you and I care about and that is their families back in the States that are losing their jobs and houses because Mr. Bush has decided we the tax payers are gonna pump 10 billion dollars a month in IRAQ while IRAQ is sitting on a multi billion dollar surplus. Tell me this, why are we OK with our sons and daughters still dieing and being sent home in caskets? Some sit back and think that because we are not seeing as many American Soldiers being killed that everything is great in IRAQ! But can you look into the eyes of a American Soldiers Mother, Father, Brother, Daughter or Son and tell him or her that their loved one will not be coming home again? It doesn't matter if it's one million American Soldiers or one American Soldier that is killed in IRAQ, it's to many. We all know damn well we have no business being in IRAQ but some of us dont want to admit that our Government is wrong and we are wrong for sitting back and pretending that IRAQ attacked us. We are the most Powerful Country on this Planet but yet we can't find one man name Osama Bin Laden but we can track down bird flew or mad caw disease in America to that one single chicken or cow that started it all. Amazing isn't it! Going down the path we are going down now in America with the Bush McCain policies are only gonna lead Americans down a path that we will regret if we decide we are OK with another eight years of Bush policies. Vote Country and Family First! Vote For Change! Vote Obama/Biden.

Barry will be there to mourn the terrorists that lost their lives on that day, with Bill Ayers at his side.

Thank god Obama will lose. Can you imagine him at the helm? What a scary thought. He couldn't lead me let alone the nation down a one way street.

What's so damn classy about a tv/photo op at a public grave! Do you think that makes a victims family members feel better that their personal tragedy is being used for political purposes! And the best part is it's bipartisan, NEITHER party gives a damn other than seeming like they care enough to use it for political purposes. You gotta love it! This is like the local mayor coming to the site of where your husband/child/wife was killed and taking a picture next to you and telling the cameras that "He came because he cared." How DARE both of them... Digusting!

Orlando, the bus is here to take you back across the border.
Try to learn some history before they let you back here.
We lost 3,000 citizens back on 9/11, while you were still in the 3rd grade. They came here because no one was killing them over there. They were allowed to openly train in Afghanstan and Iraq. Got that?
Then they learned to fly over here while Slick Willie was having his knob polished in the Oral Office. Got that?
Your good friend Saddam Hussine was paying bombers to kill people. Got that?
Hello!!!!
The bus must have arrived.

Rudy Giuliani makes some jokes about "community organizer" and now all the right-wingers are repeating that like mindless sheep. Do you even know what it means? Think for yourselves.

There's a lot of disagreement between these two campaigns, but they are both solid tickets with people that seem to have good character. I think the country will improve with either.

NEWSFLASH! THIS JUST IN:
McCAIN IS ACCUSED OF THEFT!
Apparently still reeling from being caught steeling no less than 12,000 US flags from the Democrats in an overnight raid recently, now authorities are revealing more theft complaints involving McCain and his personal entourage.
As if steeling 12,000 flags and blaming it on local Boy Scouts wasn’t enough, McCain now stands accused of steeling a copy of Gideon's bible from a hotel in Minneapolis during his stay there for the convention earlier this week.
Hotel employees gave a list of several items missing from the Hotel after McCain stayed there, including the Bible. Other missing items included three cocktail glasses, an ice bucket, several bars of soap, three rolls of toilet paper and those tiny little ketchup and mustard bottles.
Boy Scouts den mothers also expressed their dismay given the recent circumstances surround the wild accusations that somehow Boy Scouts were wandering the Invesco Arena area during the late hours after the DNC Convention and had stumbled upon 12,000 US flags, which they were then alleged to have stolen and having fenced in Minneapolis to the RNC. “I am shocked” said one mother. “Little Jimmy is in by sunset in tucked in by 8:30 every night, including weekends”.
"These Bibles are no longer free to steal” said the Hotel manager anonymously for fear of scurrilous reprisals by Republican fanatics. “It clearly states on the inside cover that you have to send away now for a free copy of the Gideon’s Bible” exclaimed the Hotel manager.
“You can’t just go willy-nilly taking things as if you own the world” the manager added. “I hear he was illegally downloading music off the internet last month to use in his TV commercials to bash the Democrats.”
Apparently McCain has long suffered from a rare disorder called “Hotel Kleptomania” stemming all the way back to his days in the Hanoi Hilton, where staff still insist he would take spoons, which have not been accounted for to this day. McCain still holds a grudge against the Hiltons, recently implicating young Paris Hilton in one of his regular tirades about Barack Obama, his staunch Democratic rival for the presidency.
The Hiltons were not available for comment, but a spokesperson for the Hotel chain said that McCain has been blacklisted from staying at their hotels since the early 70s due to missing items whenever he would stay at one of their hotels.
This is just one more blow to the McCain camp, still reeling from theft accusations including stealing Barack Obama’s political campaign theme and message as well, a message of change and reform. “We knew he had taken the message”, as did several witnesses who spotted McCain, Washington insider and veteran politician for a quarter century, spouting the term change and reform where several members of the American public were gathered.
One witness said he knew McCain had stolen Obama’s message when he heard McCain having tremendous difficulty pronouncing the word “change”. “It sounded so strange coming from Mr. McCain that you could readily see he was unfamiliar with the concept or how to pronounce the word” said one eye witness. A local panhandler handed McCain a dollar, thinking McCain was begging for a hand out. “I just felt sorry for the guy” said the homeless man, he kept saying “change”.
Mr. Obama stated that “This is a sad day for all Americans” and lamented that McCain really had no message or content of his own to use for his campaign. Mr. Obama volunteered to donate his political message and theme to McCain just as soon as he was finished with them, after November 6th.
Democratic supporters feeling bad for poor McCain have started a campaign and are mailing McCain their loose change.

Hey LM, a "community organizer" is a rabble-rouser? street thug? activist? am I close? Oh thats right, Obama was an Acorn rabble-rousing street thug activist in Chicago.

After McCain announces he is going to honor those that innocently gave their lives as well as those who bravely responded Obama has to copy him. Same for backing the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac deal. McCain announces his intentions and Obama follows. I guess that's what you do when you are not made of leadership material.

Hey media, howabout an indepth investigation into the racist, radical left, anti-american mentors, and associates of Barack Hussein Obama, instead of obsessing over the pregnant daughter of Governor Sarah Palin? Then again,,, I suppose the private family matter of a vice presidential candidate is far more inportant than a potential, and probable national security issue pertaining to a presidential candidate, and his choice of american hating friends? McCain/Palin !!!!!!!!!
