ABC's Imtiyaz Delawala reports:  Gov. Sarah Palin made an unscheduled stop at Ground Zero in lower Manhattan today, and for the first time since she joined the Republican ticket in August, she took questions from the reporters traveling with her.

Palin endorsed the handling of the war on terror by the Bush Administration. "I agree with the Bush administration that we take the fight to them, we never again let them come onto our soil and try to destroy not only our democracy but communities like, the community of New York, never again. So, yes I do agree with taking the fight to the terrorists and stopping them over there," Palin said.

She added: "I think our presence in Iraq and Afghanistan will lead to further security over our nation again because the mission is to keep the fight over there, do not let them come over here and attempt again what they accomplished here and that was some destruction, terrible destruction on that day. But, since September 11th, Americans uniting and rebuilding and committing to never letting that happen again."

Speaking to today's negotiations over the $700 billion bailout bill, she said she didn't think the legislation should be passed until Sen. John McCain's provisions are included.  "I don't support that until the provisions that Sen. McCain has offered are implemented in that, in Paulson's proposal," she said.

Palin stopped in at the Tribute to World Trader Center Visitor Center on Liberty Street, adjacent to Ground Zero. Palin got a tour from the curator of the gallery and a firefighter named John Morabito who survived the collapse of one of the towers.

Regarding Ground Zero, Palin said, "I wish every American would come through here, I wish every world leader would come through here and understand what it is that took place here and more importantly how America came together united to commit to never allowing this to happen again."

Palin proceeded to the family viewing area overlooking Ground Zero. Reporters were not allowed to accompany her to that point.

While she was apart from reporters, some of the members press chatted with Morabito, the firefighter. He said he told Palin about some of his colleagues who died there.

He said Palin was "sincere, friendly. Actually a decent person."

He said "she seems to be up to date on the events surrounding 9/11."

Joe Biden thinks President Roosevelt went on TV in 1929 to talk about the stock market crash.

And the Media is worried about PALIN's competence????????????

and Biden is telling us how Rocky Bleier visited him in a Wilmington hospital on December 23, 1972(instead of playing in the playoff game with Oakland that day huh?)

She's linking (erroneously) 9/11 and Iraq, again. More of the same deception and the media just ignores it.

I LOVE this:

He said "she seems to be up to date on the events surrounding 9/11."

"Sarah, it happened 7 years ago!!"

God help us.

"God Bless America?..nah...nah..nah..God Damm America!"

Obama's friend and mentor of 20 years blames Americans for the attack.

brad: "Is Obama still "available by phone""

No, at the President's request he is meeting at the Whitehouse.

McCain and Obama have had little part in doing the work on this bill - it's not in their area of expertise or committees. But McCain thundered in for photo-ops (and to duck a debate if he's lucky), while Obama waited until his advice and presence was actually needed and requested by the President.

What do you get when you cross a Moose and a Donkey? Would that be a moonkey?

At any rate, neither would be able to win a thoroughbred horse race, no matter how much lipstick or melanoma you add to it.

POTUS OBAMA - With competition like McCain, the race is a LOCK!

He was crying again too. The guy is unstable.

Mack,

This time next year, you'll be chewing your fingers down to the bone after having no more plugs of hair to pull from your head, McCain will be shooing imaginary trolls off of his wife's lawn and Missy P will be hosting an Eskimo's version of Jerry Springer.

Man, we all know you and all other neanderthals are down to your last piece of wood to chew on as winter is approaching November 4th.

How's the crow?

Ahhhh, Victory.

POTUS OBAMA - ITS A LOCK

Brad...the bank panic was in 1935.It was an honest mistake of the years.

Relax..........

Mack,

Poor, pathetic, uneducated troll.

Allow me:

Since you've placed all of your hopes, dreams and ouiji boards in a lemming poll, let me break it down for you grasshoppa.

Since those are being polled include the Aunt B's, Moma Biden's, Uncle Bob's and Grandpa Fred's of the United States and not that treasure trove of college educated mobile phone only users, if I were you, I'd cry now and kill myself on November 4th.

If it's tied with your ancestoral tree being polled, I have a translation for you.

POTUS OBAMA - ITS INEVITABLE

So many angry people that understand so
little. So much hate. And just what do you
think Obama is going to be able to do?
The guy can talk but he can not change
anything. Change comes from within. Obama
is smart but not bright enough to know that he doesn't know anything!

"I think... all world leaders should come to this place"

Once again she shows us her total lack of understanding of what led to this attack in the first place.

That is the problem - they have been standing in their blown up streets, where their family members died, watched their loved ones suffer. They have not just watched it once - but they have watched it many many times - for decades on end.

You say keep the fight over there - you are a fool.

Extremists only come out of extreme situations. If America wanted to ensure safety we would work with diplomacy instead of bombs.

When people have food to eat and their children are safe and there are jobs that pay them alright they don't blow themselves up on someone else's soil.

Terrorism is a symptom of oppression.

Go back to Alaska and talk about the global affairs you do understand - watching them across a good bit of water.
