Bush and Berlusconi: That's Amore
October 13, 2008 9:35 PM
ABC News' Jennifer Duck reports: They've been great allies through thick and thin--peace then war, financial highs and now financial lows.
But Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi literally fell for Bush at an elegant Official Dinner in his honor at the White House Monday night. The Prime Minister seemed to trip over a microphone cable while walking from the podium, easily catching his balance, but the top of the podium ripped right off with him.
The microphone was still attached so the charismatic Berlusconi continued praising President Bush in Italian with the top of the podium still in hand. The 130 guests burst into laughter and the confused translator tried to overpower Berlusconi somewhat unsuccessfully.
"America will have a new President and certainly this new President will be up to his task," Berlusconi said through translation with half of the podium resting in his hand. "And I will cooperate with this new President and I'll do whatever I can to cooperate with him. But I can say that it's going to be very difficult -- to find somebody, another man who is really courageous like George Bush."
With true affection Berlusconi looked at President Bush and ended his speech saying, "I wish you all the best, and I hope you can make all of your dreams come true."
That's amore.

Berlusconi is a big criminal who fired all Italian judges who were working on the many cases against him. The man belongs in jail. Bush is a fool to court this godfather of white collar crime in Italy.

McCain is emasculated -- he tries to associate "honor" with masculinity -- but what is this "honor" and "character" we keep hearing about?
just vague words and rhetoric that don't add up to anything
haha - McCain got a "D" on the treatment of veterans by the definitive independent board, a "D" !!!!!
that's pathetic
John McCain, emasculated and out of ideas

Bravo! Amore! Good for Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, he understands how great of a President that Bush has been. European Leaders also respect President Bush. It's the MSM that doesn't like him.
God bless President Bush!
God bless America!

Barack Osama’s way to all problems to solve any crisis. Eh, well. yes, no, maybe. No, yes, eh, maybe. I have to give Barack Obama a BIG FAT ZERO for leadership. He has no solution to anything that stems from his own initiative. All Barack Obama gives to people is empty words and more empty words. Barack Obama equals the more things change, the more things stay the same.
Barack Obama supporters say that he has the education that Washington needs (HA…HA….HA….HA). It appears his brain malfunctions and he cannot retain information about history and finance. Now, Barack Obama is leaning towards John McCain’s method to help solve the financial crisis. Barack Obama needs to stop smoking so he can see things more clearly.
Moreover, Obama supporters talk about Sarah Palin not being qualified, they too need to stop smoking so they can see things more clearly. Forget the comebacks. I do not smoke and I do not need lies and deceptions from Barack Obama and his supporters.

We have thoroughly examined both John McCain and Barack Hussein Obama political and personal records. We have found too many negative events against Barack Hussein Obama to be elected as President of the United States. There is nothing to convince us that Barack Hussein Obama deserves to be President of the United States.
We have also thoroughly examined both Sarah Palin and Joe Biden political and personal records.
President of the United States of America.
John McCain: 3 major negative events….6 minor negative events
Barack Hussein Obama: 14 major negative events….12 minor negative events
Vice-President of the United States of America:
Sarah Palin: 0 major negative events…. 3 minor negative events
Joe Biden: 3 major negative Events…6 minor negative events

And in related news:
Title: "GOP in push to erase voters; purges ACORN over drive to register low income"
Exerpt:
"Republican leaders in New Mexico raised the same claims against an ACORN registration drive in the last presidential vote. Then they tried to pressure New Mexico's U.S. attorney, David Iglesias, an appointee of President Bush, to bring a voter fraud indictment just before the 2006 congressional election.
After an investigation, Iglesias concluded there wasn't enough evidence. A few months later, he was fired by Attorney General Alberto Gonzales in what became a big Justice Department scandal.
Last week, the department's inspector general concluded the firing was "engineered" by former White House aide Karl Rove and New Mexico's Republican Sen. Pete Domenici for Iglesias' refusal to pursue voter fraud indictments.

PALIN'S FREE HOUSE ALA TED STEVENS!!!
Have you heard about this Developing Story on PALIN'S house being built FOR FREE by the same contractors, etc. that Ted Stevens house was built by?
Apparently the village voice newspaper did some digging into this and found some unusual facts...
Like at the same time the 15 million dollar hocky rink in Wassilla was being built, Palin's house got built!
"When the Palins began building a new family home off Lake Lucille in 2002—at the same time that Palin was running for lieutenant governor and in her final months as mayor—Spenard supplied the materials, according to Antoine Bricks, who works in its Wasilla office. Spenard actually filed a notice "of its right to assert a lien" on the deed for the Palin property after contracting for labor and materials for the site. Spenard's name has popped up in the trial of Senator Stevens—it worked on the house that is at the center of the VECO scandal as well."
In addition apparently Todd Palin claimed on FOX Noise that he built the house "himself" with some buddies...
"Todd Palin told Fox News that he built the two-story, 3,450-square-foot, four-bedroom, four-bath, wood house himself, with the help of contractors he described as "buddies." As mayor, Sarah Palin blocked an effort to require the filing of building permits in the wide-open city, and there is no public record of who the "buddies" were. The house was built very near the complex, on a site whose city purchase led to years of unsuccessful litigation and, now, $1.3 million in additional costs, with a law firm that's also donated to Palin collecting costly fees from the city."
The ONLY PROBLEM is that while the house was being built, Todd was out campaigning with his wife all over the state....
"Ewing was one of the few sports-complex contractors, aside from Spenard, willing to address the question of whether he worked on the house as well, but he had little to say: "I doubt that it occurred, but if it did indirectly, how would I know anyhow?" The odd timing of Palin's house construction—it was completed two months before she left City Hall and while she and Todd Palin were campaigning statewide for the first time—raises questions, especially considering its synergy with the complex."
Is there NO END to this woman's lies and corruption?

Berlusconi broke the lectern -- he did not break the podium.
The podium is the thing you stand *on* and the lectern is the thing most people think is the podium...

Obama vs. business & jobs
Even The New York Times now is saying that Barack Obama's unswerving call for tax increases -- to impose more "fairness" -- is the wrong prescription for the current crisis in the U.S. economy.

Nicholas-
First you say neither are fit then you say you're voting McCain because you don't like Obama. What kind of reasoning is that? How about doing what is best for your country and the economy? Have you even educated yourself on issues or watched the debates? My guess would be no.
