Cindy McCain Takes Off Her Gloves
October 08, 2008 2:43 PM
ABC News' Bret Hovell Reports: Wife of Republican presidential nominee, Cindy McCain, issued by far her harshest attack on Sen. Barack Obama Wednesday at a rally in Bethlehem, PA.
Introducing Gov. Sarah Palin, the vice presidential nominee, Mrs. McCain spoke about having two sons serving on active duty in the military, and mentioned that the Palins have a son serving as well.
“I’m proud of my sons, but let me tell you, the day that Senator Obama decided to cast a vote to not fund my son when he was serving sent a cold chill through my body, let me tell you,” Mrs. McCain said to a chorus of boos from the roughly 7,000 people in attendance. “I would suggest that Senator Obama change shoes with me for just one day, and see what it means, and see what it means to have a loved one serving in the armed forces, and more importantly, serving in harms way.”
Mrs. McCain regularly mentions that she has two sons serving, and one who has served in Iraq. But this was the first time she addressed Obama’s vote on troop funding directly, and she did so with vigor.
“I suggest [Obama] take a day and go watch our fine young men and women deploy, get on those buses and leave with a smile and a charge,” Mrs. McCain said.
Tuesday in Nashville, Mrs. McCain attacked Obama for waging what she called, “the dirtiest campaign in American history,” speaking at a tour of a Children’s Hospital before the second presidential debate.

He refused because there was no timeline to get out of Iraq attached. Why didn't she say that her husband also denied the troops funds, because a timeline was attached?

Senator Obama did vote against support for our troops. AND THAT IS THE TRUTH, THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH. Senator Obama refuses to face the facts head on. He has never put himself in harm's way for his country.

McCain not only voted against funding troops because a timeline was attached to the bill, he also opposed the Webb bill for veterans benefits increases. Cindy should be furious with her own husband!

The Democratic Socialist Party of America published in their July/August Edition of New Ground 47 Newsletter.
"The Chicago New Party is increasely becoming a viable political organization that can make a different in Chicago politics. It is crucial for a political organization to have a solid infrastructure and visible results in its political program. The New Party has continued to solidify this base...
the NP's '96 Political Program has been enormously successful with 3 of 4 endorsed candidates winning electoral primaries. All four candidates attended the NP membership meeting on April 11th to express their gratitude. Danny Davis, winner in the 7th Congressional District, invited NPers to join his Campaign Steering Committee. Patricia Martin, who won the race for Judge in 7th Subcircuit Court, explained that due to the NP she was able to network and get experienced advice from progressives like Davis. Barack Obama, victor in the 13th State Senate District, encouraged NPers to join in his task forces on Voter Education and Voter Registration."
another truth. Obama was a member of the Socialist New Party.

Take a pill Cindy..No on second thought thats not a good idea.

McCain also voted against funding the troops because he didn't like the timeline. What does McCindy have to say about her obviously loving husband's vote?
Posted by: obamamama | Oct 8, 2008 2:57:30 PM
Since when is the candidate's wife's opinion important?
Anyway, by Cindy McCain's own logic, her husband voted against his own son multiple times as well.
Does she really think people don't understand how government works? McCain himself said last night that he votes against "bad bills" at times, even those with some good provisions.

So true....McCain also voted NO on the troop funding bill.
Now I guess it is a sin, as far as the Reps are concerned, if you don't serve in the military. People can serve in many ways.
McCain/Palin STOP using our troops toget into the WH....
We're sick of your lies.

Maria you are an idiot. Senator McCain ALSO voted against funding our troops because it had a timetable for withdrawal. It is a shame when a olitician has to use the service of their children to score political points. Shame on Cindy McCain! Shame on her!

The McCain boys don't need veteran's benefits, they're heirs to a fortune. So screw the rest of the poor soldiers, eh?

Sounds like Cindy is off her meds.. better go and steal some more from those charities you work for.
If she wants to see disgusting and filth, tell her to look at her husband and his soul mate... there is enough filth and disgust to last a life time there.

Obama waging “the dirtiest campaign in American history,”? I believe it was pitbull Palin that threw the first mudball and has been slinging them ever since. Even Obama's replies have not been anywhere near as bad as what the McCain/Palin campaign is saying/doing. Cindy is as out of touch as her husband!!!

Does anyone care what this idiot says?

McCain does not support veterans. He has consistently voted against veterans and has a rating of D by veterans groups. His fellow POW's in Nam called him SONGBIRD because he ratted out classified flight paths to the enemy which enabled them to shoot down our bombers, all the while receiveing preferential treatment by the enemy.
Posted by: becky | Oct 8, 2008 3:02:45 PM
McCain: 20% rating by the Disabled Vets. Voted 28 times against bills containing increases for Vets. Against the New GI Bill. Voted NO on funding for Veteran Affairs. Why does McCain hate our vets?

"the day that Senator Obama decided to cast a vote to not fund my son when he was serving sent a cold chill through my body, let me tell you.”
Sorry Sugar-Baby, the cold chill through your body was from your husband's decision to not support your sons.

What would Cindy McCain know about walking in other peoples shoes! So what she has a son in the war, half of us have lost our sons in the war! A war her war mongering husband was all to eager to start, did that send chills up her spin? That she sleeps with a man who was married to another woman at the time? That Cindy McCain is a prescription drup addict that never paid for her wrong doing cause she has $$$, that her mouth moves and her million dollar self loving idea of justice comes out! These people are priceless! They are judging Obama and not even questioning their own behavior, then holding campaign rallies that appear to be KKK rallies! These people are disgusting!

I think she wants to take away the title of Ms Non Congeniality from Palin.
Posted by: bhciapol | Oct 8, 2008 3:03:50 PM
Well, imo, that makes you wrong.
Posted by: Kitty | Oct 8, 2008 3:04:12 PM
what will all you pathetic, negative, sarcastic obama supporters do if he gets elected? ... who will you then vent your venom on?
