Richardson: Bill Clinton 'Wants to Keep a Grudge'

ABC News' Teddy Davis and Hope Ditto report:  New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson told National Public Radio Thursday that he has not patched things up with Bill Clinton since going against his wife and endorsing Barack Obama for president.

"Have I heard from President Clinton? No. It could be a pretty much, a permanent fissure," Richardson told NPR's "Morning Edition." "But that’s politics, that’s OK. I did what I thought was best for the country. I’m still very fond of the Clintons. I’ve reconciled with her, but with him, he wants to keep a grudge, that’s fine with me. I move on. I’m governor of New Mexico. I’m happy where I am.”

Richardson, who made an unsuccessful run for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination, served in the Clinton administration as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations and later as Secretary of Energy.

Despite his long association with the Clintons, he endorsed Obama on March 21, 2008.  Audio from Richardson's interview is available at: www.NPR.org

Had he, God of Nothingness, supported HRC's proposal of targeted economic rescue aimed at the banking and mortgage sectors 12 months ago, had he, Zerobameus, rather than give cash to individuals, which did nothing to the down slide of the economy, and this Phony still uses to buy your votes promising to give you another $1000 if you vote for him, perhaps your retirement accounts would have been 50% better than what you have today.

Do you still support this deceptionist who does nothing, done nothing, and will do nothing, except empty promises that he will change overnight, including taking your constitulational rights of individual privacy? If you do, good luck.

You are all had.

A traitor who sold out his soul deserves the treatment for a traitor.

"I’m governor of New Mexico. I’m happy where I am.”

You better be, because your political career is OVER. Once a traitor, always a traitor, no one will ever trust you again.

Governor looks like a thug, talks like a thug and is now supporting another thug and liar. Bill Clinton deserved respect, not the race baiting of the Obama campaign. The way, Obama treated Hillary is beyond reason. Obama is running the diriest campaign ever. He will do anything to win including support for ACORN for voter defraud.

Are people really that stupid? Hey with that money you can buy 3 i-phones! They are going to vote us all out of jobs or any hope of getting one.

You young Obama supporters have no idea what 'politics as usual' is.

Richardson turning on President Clinton and coming out for Obama when there really was no point anymore was to score political points for HIMSELF . It didnt help Obama at all as it was long past the time any latino states were voting.

Politics as usual by Richardson. New politics would have been Richardson standing on the sidelines just like Joe Biden did and behold the winner no matter whom it was.

Mack,

If you were not, you would have not supported a phony Nothingness, who has done nothing, does nothing, and will do nothing, except making feeling good speeches.

I don't blame Clinton and I wouldn't ever trust Richardson with anything or anyone. I really doubt that Hillary really forgave him, either.

It's ok Bill Richardson you can move on. No big loss anyway. Bill Clinton is digging his own grave and perhaps that of Hillary as well if she wants to run again. The Clinton era is OVER!!!!

Bill is supporting Hillary's right to run when/if Obama loses to Insane McCain. Why are people stunned by this. When have the Clintons done anything for anyone other than themselves.

Now we finally have a crystal clear explanation of Bill Clinton's half-hearted endorsement of Barack Obama and his public love affair with John McCain.

I am glad Bill Richardson put country ahead of personal friendship and loyalty.
